Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 377: Chapter 344: Flash Elf (Multi-in-One Super Chapter!)

The next day.

Baimu woke up in the messy room that he had tidied up briefly.

He ran back and forth between the hospital and the police station last night, and even just a minor record took him to past midnight, while the officer entertaining them had darker bags under his eyes than his pupils.

Clearly, they have been exhausted these days.

Two crimes committed in a short period, such ”arrogant” thieves caught the small town police station, usually devoid of such exaggerated criminal records, off guard.

Of course, overtime is not without reward, at least when the two thieves tried to continue their crimes, they successfully tracked down their hideout and prepared to catch the two thieves red-handed on their return.

No one expected these two to be bold enough to commit a crime in the day and go out at night to cause trouble again, getting caught in the act.

This truly left them bewildered.

Luckily, someone didn’t go too hard while taking action, and the thieves woke up after not being knocked out for long, beginning to endure the lengthy interrogation sessions led by Miss Jun Sha and several officers working together.

”Ah~”

Baimu yawned.

When he returned last night, Mann Chong asked him if he wanted to switch rooms. After seeing that the interior had been initially tidied up and feeling too tired to bother changing rooms, he declined and said he’d deal with it after sleeping.

”The process should be completed by now...”

He picked up the phone on the bedside table, not expecting the first message he saw to be from the police station about the recovery of stolen property—a Pokémon Egg that went missing yesterday afternoon.

He had mentioned it during the record yesterday, and it seemed the officer had registered it.

The next message was from the tent responsible for battles.

The other party stated they’d be waiting for him at the police station entrance to complete the Pokémon Egg recovery and compensation.

”That’s quite enthusiastic.”

Baimu maneuvered past his belly and the two dragon heads on his thighs, greeted the awakened Chansey, and petted the Galarian Corsola next to the pillow.

Having completed his daily routine, he headed into the bathroom to freshen up.

Soon thereafter.

Feeling refreshed, he greeted Mann Chong at the front desk, swapped his room key, and headed straight to the police station door.

The person in charge stood next to the kiosk, his eyes lighting up upon seeing him.

”Mr. Baimu! You still remember me, right?” The person wiped the sweat off his face with a handkerchief, smiling warmly.

Baimu nodded, ”Of course, sorry to trouble you with the trip.”

”No trouble at all, please.”

The person in charge accompanied him inside.

After registering his identity, they were led by an officer to the stolen property claim area.

Opening the door, he immediately saw the fat man who was bragging about his shiny Pokémon the day before yesterday.

Beside the fat man stood a little boy in a suit, full of the aura of a young James, obviously some rich family’s heir.

Both turned their heads to see Baimu and the person in charge, eyes lighting up.

”Finally here!”

The fat man excitedly said, ”Young Master! They are the owners of that Pokémon Egg!”

The boy curiously retorted, ”Then what are you waiting for?”

”Oh oh!”

The fat man quickly nodded, addressing the somewhat confused pair, ”Sirs, I wonder if we might come to an agreement—”

The officer suddenly interrupted, ”Once you’ve got the stuff, hurry out, don’t linger. Anything you need to discuss, take it outside.”

The fat guy instantly clammed up.

Fortunately, the boy seemed reasonable and didn’t engage in any ’Do you know who I am?’ nonsense with the officer, leaving with the fat man from the property claim area.

They nodded politely in passing.

”...”

Baimu nodded in response, thoughtfully looking at the rather conspicuous Pokémon Egg among the stolen property claim value, ”How come there’s only one left? Have all the others been claimed?”

”Yes.”

The person in charge nodded.

”Then why not just tell the officer to bring it over with my claim? Waiting for me at the door for so long is hard to understand.”

”Hehehe...” The person merely chuckled awkwardly.

Claiming the Pokémon Egg.

Baimu started observing it, in the animation most Pokémon Eggs could have their type determined by their external patterns, and this one is no exception.

After looking it over, he roughly understood why the fat man was so excited.

”It’s a Wurmple Egg, and it’s a shiny one at that...”

Looking at the egg shell’s violet wave-like spines and yellow spots, he never imagined a shiny Pokémon in the animation would manifest on the egg surface.

If egg enthusiasts could see such a thing, they wouldn’t need to wander the Golden Egg Hatching Road back and forth all day.

Of course, the games don’t have such a setting for egg surface patterns.

The person in charge was surprised Baimu could identify the egg’s type so quickly, giving him extra credit.

After confirmation and registration.

The two turned and left the police station.

At the door, the fat man stood waiting, and not far away, a luxury car was parked, with the boy’s head visible through the rear window.

”Sir, let’s discuss this.”

The fat man amiably approached, ”My family’s young master is extremely interested in this Pokémon Egg. Can you part with it? We’re willing to offer a price that satisfies you...”

Sure enough, those shiny Pokémon belong to that little boy.

Baimu pondered, outwardly shaking his head.

”Sorry.”

”If not selling, trading is also possible! Whatever kind of Pokémon you desire, we can negotiate!”

The fat man displayed a grin, rubbing his hands together, pleading further, ”Really, I’m quite sincere, whatever Pokémon you want, we can talk!”

”Then I’d like to trade for a shiny Milotic, how about it?”
