Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 364: Chapter 341: The Smiling Devil (Triple-Length Chapter)

”Just choose a head to release it.”

Baimu said.

This is basically not something that needs too much consideration, but he saw Zweilous didn’t immediately respond to him, understanding that this guy might have a bold idea.

”Stop.”

He held Zweilous’ head and seriously told it, ”Those things can be considered after learning them, for now, put those wild ideas aside.”

”Heywoo!” ”Heywoo!”

Upon hearing the Trainer’s command, Zweilous had no choice but to dispel the immature thought.

Thanks to having only one core consciousness, Zweilous didn’t waste time on which head to release Meteor Shower from. Moreover, releasing with one head helps the other head control the stability of Meteor Shower.

Of course.

Everything must first be completed step by step.

Baimu still broke down Meteor Shower into three steps—focus and gather energy, complete gathering energy and release it, and guide the released energy to explode and fall to a designated spot.

Given Zweilous’ talent, it might be able to complete a step in a day.

Meanwhile, Mann Chong fell into deep thought after learning his method of learning techniques.

Though he has long relied on momentum to learn moves, it doesn’t mean he’s resistant to this seemingly more ”scientific” technique learning method.

Just as Baimu would consider learning Mann Chong’s Idealist Skills, Mann Chong also wants to learn Baimu’s technique-breaking skills.

Exchanging techniques can improve together.

Furthermore, teaching Baimu’s Pokémon moves also helps deepen his Pokémon’s understanding of moves, and when Zweilous finally completed the first step of gathering energy, Garchomp’s control over Meteor Shower also improved.

”Heywoo!”

Zweilous felt the hard-earned orange energy orb, unable to resist guiding it to the left head, then released it to the sky while the right head watched!

Bang!

The orb flew high.

To Zweilous’ anticipation and Baimu’s unsurprised eyes, it didn’t explode but fell straight down, creating a small pit like a grenade.

Thud!

”Heywoo!” ”Heywoo!”

Zweilous couldn’t hide the disappointment on its face, self-proclaiming as a little genius in learning moves yet failing to complete the entire task in a day to impress the Trainer?

”Reaching this step is good enough, improve what’s lacking later.” Baimu rubbed its two heads.

Mann Chong nodded, ”Yes, learning moves requires strong patience indeed.”

”Kaboom~”

Garchomp growled.

With three mouths against two, what you say goes.

Zweilous didn’t refute, just burrowed its head into the Trainer’s embrace, continuously rubbing coquettishly.

Baimu continued to rub its hair while talking to Mann Chong.

Meanwhile, in a distant place unnoticed by the two, in a house roof visible to the park, someone put down the binoculars.

”Garchomp and Zweilous that know Meteor Shower... Hmph! What you seek is nowhere, but you get it without effort! See who can vie for the first thief title with me!”

”Boss! We’ve located these two people’s residence! It’s at the nearby inn!”

An excited voice rang at the ear, ”Shall we act tonight?”

”No rush!”

That person shook his head, ”Observe more, wait until that Zweilous learns Meteor Shower before acting, cautiousness is key, what do we rely on roaming the world?”

”Um... targeting fools?”

”Idiot! It’s caution!” He slapped his companion’s head, ”I think you’re the fool!”

The companion shrank his head, dared not argue.

The big catch today inflated their confidence immensely, not promptly leaving Verdanturf Town, but instead preparing to exploit the ’under the lamp’ advantage for a big score!

As for whether this ’under the lamp’ really means dark, it depends on whether Officer Jenny can successfully catch them.

The next day.

Still no tournament text in the morning.

Until the afternoon, the competition notice finally arrived.

During this time, Baimu browsed the blog to search about the Battle Tent, finding it indeed has an ”official account” that occasionally posts exciting match videos.

Unfortunately, the attention is not high.

The Battle Tent is like a local tournament, only popular within Verdanturf Town. Under a slow-paced lifestyle, such a competition is quite interesting.

But trainers outside used to fast-paced life may not have the heart to watch two Pokémon battle without ”technical content,” and seeing Pokémon use ineffective moves unfamiliar with opponents wouldn’t find it funny but rather feel hypertension and anger.

Comprehensive reasons leading this struggle not gaining fame outside.

And this low-profile is precisely what Baimu needs.

”An afternoon should be enough to finish two battles, right?”

He contemplated and summoned Steelix again.

To avoid risks, he must prepare for the worst in the upcoming match, such as if one of the three chosen can no longer fight.

He squeezed through the crowd outside the Battle Tent.

With the staff’s guidance, Baimu entered a Trainer waiting room bigger than before.

Perhaps a semi-final exclusive perk, the room’s facilities were enhanced a lot, even the watching screen was larger and clearer than before, not fuzzy anymore, even clearer.

”If you need anything else, please notify me immediately.”

The staff bowed and exited.
