Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 365: Chapter 341: The Smiling Devil (Triple Combo Chapter!)_2

The process and the preliminary selections are the same.

Baimu leaned on the sofa, waiting silently, and when the screen displayed the words ”Match Preparation”, he placed three Pokeballs into the transport device.

The starter, without a doubt, was Mawile again.

Its mobility could handle various situations and pass amplified abilities onto teammates. There was no Pokémon more suited for leading the battle.

The screen displayed the type of battlefield—

Sand field.

Seeing the familiar gravel and rocks, Baimu couldn’t say whether the goddess of luck was on his side.

Perhaps the opponent also has a bunch of rock or Ground Attribute Pokémon?

Bang bang!

The machine launched the Pokeballs.

Upon seeing the opponent’s Pokémon, he realized his guess was correct.

In the arena.

As soon as Mawile landed, it flew up with Electromagnetic Levitation.

Based on intelligence acquired from Aggron, whether it’s the starter or relay, it’s best to move quickly after entering, to avoid being locked in upon entry.

Fortunately, when it flew up, the opponent had just entered the arena.

”Cheerio?”

Mawile assessed the opponent’s situation, recalling the Pokémon knowledge it crammed yesterday. Although it couldn’t remember the name of this odd Pokémon covered in orange-red crystalline stones, it knew it should have a single Rock Attribute.

Great.

Attribute advantage is on our side!

As soon as its thoughts arose, it saw the distant Gigalith suddenly let out a loud roar, countless fine gravel flew from the ground, and with a gust of wind, quickly spread towards it.

Mawile couldn’t react fast enough, instinctively retreating and squinting its eyes.

When it regained its senses, a dull yellow surrounded it; the entire field enveloped by a swirling gravel storm, as if held by an invisible force, trapped the Quicksand Hell.

Sandstorm?

Or Quicksand Hell?

Mawile didn’t dare hesitate too much, aware that without a Trainer’s command, its only advantage was speed!

Be faster than the opponent!

Mawile abruptly kicked off a rock behind it, adding speed to its charge, its entire body transformed into a lightning-fast afterimage.

In an instant.

The attacking Gigalith only saw a blur, hearing the whistle of air approaching rapidly from afar!

”Roar!”

Aghast, it roared, its orange-red crystals like spikes lit up with a dark silver glow, a terrifying Energy Bullet quickly formed and was launched forward!

[Power Gemstone]!

Boom!

The massive recoil made its body tremble, dust flying.

But clearly, without seeing the opponent’s position, no matter how strong the attack, it couldn’t deal effective damage; the Energy Bullet inevitably hit nothing, exploding with a dazzling light wave.

Rolling dust quickly spread, enveloping its form.

Missed!?

Gigalith’s vision shifted rapidly.

Little realizing the lightwave and smoke provided Mawile with cover for its actions, unaware that while its Energy Bullet exploded, the former had already flown past its front, kicked off the rock behind.

Bang!

The sound of rock shattering finally caught Gigalith’s attention, but before it could turn, the descending speed enhanced by Mawile’s kick allowed it to crash in its back!

Thud!

Enveloped in a silver energy ring, Mawile was like a speedy bullet, akin to a bell’s dull sound under a terrifying impact, even the heavy Gigalith was pushed back four or five meters, carving two deep grooves in the sandy ground.

The severe pain made Gigalith dizzy, almost fainting, its mind muddled, still puzzled why Mawile could attack from behind.

If the Sandstorm doesn’t affect it, why didn’t the Power Gemstone hit either?

The overwhelming weakness made Gigalith realize it no longer had the ability to keep fighting, leaving only one path to follow.

Big Explo—

As the surface glowed, a brown-red fist suddenly struck its head, draining its last ounce of strength, dispersing the energy it had just accumulated.

”Cheerio!”

Mawile breathed a sigh of relief.

Was the guy about to use Big Explosion? Right? Didn’t mistake it, did I?

Indeed, being cautious was very correct, it didn’t want to be blown up again.

Recalling not long ago Mega Camerupt’s Big Explosion scene, Mawile couldn’t mask its aggravation, from a complete victory, forced into a dire situation by a Big Explosion.

Seeing Gigalith retrieved by the machine in the sky, Mawile spun rapidly.

After Sword Dance.

Its attack power rose to a fearsome level, armed with fists looking at the released opponent nearby, knowing if things went smoothly, breaking through three opponents with the current state wasn’t impossible.

Of course, first, clear what kind of Pokémon the opponent is.

Light flickered.

A short-legged elephant revealed itself, dark gray all over, its back and head covered in thick black keratinous skin like rocks.

Ah!

This one’s familiar!

Upon seeing Donphan, Mawile immediately recalled the one often battled in Pyrite Town, incredibly familiar beyond familiarity.
