Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 374: Chapter 343: Street Racing? Drifting? (Three-in-One Mega Chapter!)

”Hey—how do you generally deal with this kind of thief?”

”Why are you so excited... Generally, break their leg or cut their fingers.” Mr. Baimu looked at Mann Chong in surprise, then calmly said something quite terrifying.

Hearing this, Mann Chong’s curiosity quickly waned, seeing the seriousness in the person in front of him, he said awkwardly with a smile, ”Break the leg, cut the fingers? Mr. Baimu really loves to joke?”

”Joke?”

He cast a meaningful look, his eyes sweeping over Mann Chong’s hands and legs.

”Perhaps.”

Mr. Baimu smiled brightly.

”It must be a joke, please! Tell me it’s a joke! Don’t scare me like this!” Mann Chong grabbed his arm with a distressed face, not letting go until he got the answer he wanted.

The kids these days aren’t very resilient.

Mr. Baimu looked at the relieved Mann Chong and shook his head, ”By the way, let me remind you to warn your cousin and keep yourself vigilant. They might suddenly steal from us.”

”...That’s true, we should be on guard.”

The green-haired boy thought briefly, agreeing that Mr. Baimu made a good point.

Be prepared for a rainy day.

Not being stolen from is certainly best. What if carelessness leads to being robbed, you’d cry with nowhere to turn.

”I’ll be right back! Wait for me!”

Mann Chong rushed off to find his cousin Aman.

Mr. Baimu glanced at the time, there was still a while until dinner. After sitting on the couch for so long, it was time to move a bit with his Pokémon.

Especially Porygon.

The laptop wasn’t bought for nothing. This guy just made a mosaic racing game yesterday, where in certain areas, the car next to you competing speeds up as you slow down.

The inspiration struck its move learning unit, telling the Trainer it had an idea.

”Is the Magic Space finally showing signs?”

Mr. Baimu couldn’t help being a bit excited.

Magic Space is quite a key move for his overall slow team, greatly compensating for the lack of mobility.

No longer solely relying on instantaneous burst power to cover for the slow speed.

Headed to the battlefield.

He eagerly released Porygon.

”Pory!”

Porygon first landed on the ground, then slowly floated up using electromagnetic force to shield gravity, it had grown considerably since it arrived.

A couple of days ago, Mr. Baimu noticed the size change, so he measured it and really found it got bigger.

It’s quite peculiar.

Can an artificial Pokémon ”grow”? Are there age stage differences?

Mr. Baimu asked an assistant and got a reply confirming Porygon has a size growth program, but when asked how big it could grow, the latter replied, ”Hard to say.”

What do you mean hard to say?

It’s hard not to imagine a house-sized Porygon, and its moves are most likely akin to cannons by then.

”Today’s subject, Magic Space!”

”Pory!”

Porygon nodded seriously, using the psychic attribute energy within, structuring a fake space in its mind, recalling the codes it had input, and in the haze, quickly forming a glowing blue space.

In reality.

Mr. Baimu saw Porygon’s eyes emit a red glow, and the boundary lines of the field suddenly glow sky blue. Then, straight light lines rose, rapidly forming a large rectangular prism.

The distorted blue light turned into glass, enveloping the entire battlefield, rippling and shaking like waves.

No doubt.

This is Magic Space.

Porygon managed to use it successfully on the first try!

”Impressive...”

Mr. Baimu looked around in awe, recalling when this guy learned Hundred Thousand Volts, it seemed it succeeded in one try too, like it used a skill learning machine.

Being too smooth is hard to get used to, after all, other Pokémon learn by trial and error slowly.

Perhaps this is some feature of Porygon.

Learning moves relies on internal program activation.

At this time.

Mann Chong ran over from afar, stepped into the Magic Space, ”I’m back—ah!”

The sudden halt in speed almost made him somersault.

”What’s going on? Magic Space?”

”Hey! That was a quick reaction!”

Mr. Baimu was momentarily surprised, ”This young man is quite good.”

”Hehe... I encountered it before, so it left a strong impression...”

Mann Chong felt a bit embarrassed from the praise, looking at Porygon, then excitedly said, ”Let me help experiment with this Magic Space?”

”If you’re willing, I’d gladly accept.”

”Just a little effort~ Just a little effort~”

Boom!

The fastest Talonflame in Mann Chong’s team appeared, about to flap its wings hard twice, but feeling the propulsion slower than expected.

”Talon—”

Why, do my wings feel so heavy!

Talonflame strained its face, exerting force continuously, nearly resorting to facial compensation but unable to increase speed. Conversely, Porygon below, like an F1 racer, was already racing around the field.

”Pory—”

”Pory—”

Seeing Porygon buzzing around like a mosquito, while Talonflame in the sky flew like a snail, he truly didn’t anticipate the effect to be so immediate and obvious.

Unfortunately, the duration wasn’t long.

In the game, it’s fixed at five turns. When Porygon used it, it lasted about three minutes. Perhaps as the move becomes more proficient, the time can be extended.

Of course, too long isn’t good either. Magic Space must be activated at the right time and closed at the right time to be considered a proper Magic Space.
