”Sensei, please have a seat. I’ll go wake up that bad woman.”

After saying that to Jiraiya, Seiryū walked toward Tsunade’s bedroom.

He turned off the stove as he passed the kitchen, then went to Tsunade’s room and kicked the door open in one smooth motion.

He walked straight in and shouted, ”Hey, bad woman, wake up, my Sensei is here!”

Jiraiya’s eyes widened when he caught a glimpse of this scene, as if he’d seen a ghost. What was his disciple doing?

The movements were so fluid, it was clear he’d done it many times before.

More importantly, he just walked straight in?

That was Tsunade’s room!

A woman’s boudoir is a very private place, and he just walked in like that?

Jiraiya was terribly envious. He also wanted to go into Tsunade’s room and take a look.

But he was certain that if he dared to do that, it wouldn’t end with just a few broken bones.

This kid is too bold. Won’t Tsunade beat him out?

Jiraiya secretly broke out in a cold sweat for Seiryū.

He knew Tsunade had a temper when waking up. Back when they were on missions, he once went to wake her in the tent next door.

The response he got wasn’t a word, but a punch.

However, the following development surprised him again, and even greatly surprised him.

Tsunade’s angry voice came through. ”You brat, what are you shouting about so early in the morning? Are you not letting people sleep?”

Seiryū’s provocative voice followed. ”What sleep? Get up and party! Jiraiya-sensei is here, don’t sleep anymore.”

”Tell him to get lost!”

”You’re being impolite. Oh, right, I cooked ramen. Bad woman, do you want some?”

”You didn’t add soldier pills, did you?”

”Huh? How did you know?”

”...Get out!”

Jiraiya was very envious. Tsunade’s attitude toward Seiryū was truly unusual.

She didn’t even beat him out?

Seiryū left Tsunade’s bedroom, sighing. ”This bad woman has such a terrible temper.”

So impolite. A guest has arrived and she won’t even get up. He had to help entertain the guest.

And this isn’t even his house.

Walking to the kitchen, Seiryū scooped two bowls of ramen, then returned to the living room and smiled at Jiraiya. ”Sensei, the ramen is here.”

”Uh, well, I just remembered, my stomach has been acting up, and I came to Tsunade for treatment...”

Looking at the dark soup of the ramen, Jiraiya swallowed and chuckled dryly. ”It’s not suitable to eat right now.”

Ramen with soldier pills... he couldn’t even imagine what that would taste like.

Anyway, he felt he definitely couldn’t eat it.

So he wouldn’t waste food.

He almost forgot, this kid Seiryū’s taste buds were unusual, and his palate was very unique.

”Oh, then I’ll eat it myself.”

Seiryū could tell Jiraiya was making excuses, but he didn’t bother arguing.

People’s tastes were different.

Sitting down on the sofa, Seiryū slurped his noodles and asked curiously, ”Sensei, how long do you plan to stay in Konoha this time?”

The last time Jiraiya returned to the village was a few months ago.

It had been a while since he’d seen him.

What an irresponsible Sensei.

”I haven’t decided yet. I just came back to the village for New Year.”

Jiraiya smiled and continued, ”I was planning to see you and Minato this afternoon, but I didn’t expect to run into you here.”

”I heard the old man say the Ninja Academy curriculum has been shortened to three years. You should be graduating in about two months, right? Do you have any plans?”

Seiryū was one of his proud disciples, so he naturally paid close attention to him.

He had only returned to the village late last night. This morning, he visited his Sensei, the Third Hokage.

Then he came here to Tsunade.

Seiryū said, ”That bad woman already agreed to be my Jōnin Instructor. After graduation, I’ll just follow her arrangements. I hope she won’t be too excessive.”

”Hmm?”

Jiraiya was stunned. ”Tsunade agreed to be your Jōnin Instructor? She’s not...”

He naturally knew Tsunade’s strength, but she had hemophobia.

To put it bluntly, a shinobi suffering from that condition wasn’t suitable to be a ninja anymore.

How could she agree to become Seiryū’s Jōnin Instructor, unless Tsunade had already overcome her hemophobia?

”That illness? I cured it.”

Seiryū said it lightly, and indeed, he had cured it, which was a remarkable feat. ”To thank me, and also to repay a debt, she sold herself to me.”

”...”

Jiraiya was stunned for a moment, feeling a bit of a toothache.

This kid’s choice of words was as unreliable as ever. Could he really say such things?

You’re really not afraid.

”How did you do it? Although I know you’re learning Medical Ninjutsu from Tsunade, it can’t be that your Medical Ninjutsu has already surpassed hers, right?”

Jiraiya was a little curious.

Seiryū was a genius, no doubt, but to say he had surpassed Tsunade in Medical Ninjutsu... he didn’t believe it.

”It’s nothing, a small matter, not worth boasting about.”

Seiryū was a bit smug. Curing Tsunade’s hemophobia was something he could boast about for a long time.

If this matter got out, his identity as a famous doctor would be confirmed.

Building a reputation was very useful, just like the ”exercise books” he had once concocted.

Those were all money.

The consultation fee for a Medical-nin was very expensive. Enough to get rich.

”This brat surpass me? He wouldn’t be able to even in ten or twenty more years.”

Tsunade walked over, glanced at the ramen on the table, then looked at Jiraiya. ”Why are you back in the village? Do you need something from me?”

”Hahaha, nothing much. Just came to chat with you.”

Jiraiya smiled and continued, ”After all, it’s been a long time, hasn’t it? I just went to Orochimaru’s house, but I don’t know where he ran off to.”

Tsunade clicked her tongue. ”That guy is so secretive. I rarely see him in Konoha. He’s probably concocting something with that gloomy Danzo. After all, he’s also a Root shinobi.”

”He still doesn’t plan to leave Root?”

”Who knows what he’s thinking.”

As Seiryū listened to their conversation, slurping his noodles, he pondered, ”Speaking of which, when were the Wood Release experiments in Konoha?”

Could it be that Orochimaru and Danzo are already secretly researching First Hokage cell transplantation now?

As a transmigrator.

Seiryū knew that the Konoha higher-ups had once conducted First Hokage cell transplantation experiments.

Initially, it was public, recruiting willing adults to participate.

However, there were no successful cases. Instead, many lives were lost.

As a result, the Third Hokage, Hiruzen, terminated the experiment.

But Orochimaru and Danzo didn’t stop. They continued it in secret, and eventually, the experiment succeeded, giving birth to a Wood Release user.

That was Yamato from the original series.

The Yamato who used First Hokage’s Wood Release to dominate the battlefield, and then used his Wood Release to do landscaping.

The exact timing of the initial Wood Release experiments wasn’t specified in the original work. However, the time of Yamato’s successful transplantation could be inferred.

Yamato underwent the First Hokage cell transplantation experiment when he was a child.

Yamato seemed to be only a few years younger than Kakashi.

And Kakashi was eight years old now.

Calculating the time, it seemed to be around this period.

(To be continued.)
