Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

The dynamic vision of the Two-Tomoe Sharingan was extremely sharp, allowing Ryosuke to clearly capture every detail, and his heart involuntarily skipped a beat.

What kind of Ninjutsu is this?

He did not know, but he could feel that this Ninjutsu was extremely dangerous.

He could not be hit.

In an instant, Ryosuke formed hand seals and performed the Substitution Jutsu.

Boom!

Seiryū’s Rasengan slammed down directly, erupting with a loud roar. The substitute log was instantly blasted into fragments that scattered everywhere.

White smoke from the Substitution Jutsu rose, obscuring the surroundings.

”Such terrifying power…” The Substitution Jutsu had blocked the attack. Ryosuke stared at the shattered log, his heart sinking.

At this age, he had already mastered a Ninjutsu with such power?

He truly was a genius.

But precisely because of that, Ryosuke’s desire to strike him down and make sure he could never recover grew even stronger.

Since he did not know his place, he could not be blamed.

He had to deliver a heavy blow and completely cripple him.

Using the Body Flicker Technique, Ryosuke leaped back, formed hand seals, puffed out his chest, and exhaled scorching flames.

”Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!”

The Uchiha Clan excelled at Fire Release Ninjutsu, and the Great Fireball Technique was their signature jutsu.

A massive fireball several meters wide, trailing blazing flames, crashed toward Seiryū.

Kurenai, standing nearby, could not help but shout anxiously, ”Seiryū, be careful!”

For some reason, she felt that Seiryū was different now. She had never seen that expression on his face before.

Calm and indifferent.

Yet she could sense that he was angry.

Thinking carefully, she realized she had never seen Seiryū truly angry before.

…

Facing the incoming Great Fireball, Seiryū did not dodge. Instead, he met it head-on.

His left foot slammed into the ground, and his right arm swung forward in a punch.

The instant the punch was thrown, chakra surged and exploded, turning into a powerful impact.

Boom!

The punch directly blew apart the Great Fireball, scattering sparks everywhere. The flickering firelight illuminated Seiryū’s face.

His eyes locked onto his opponent’s movements. Seiryū formed a hand seal with one hand and thrust his palm forward.

”Hadō #31: Shakkahō.”

The orange-red fireball was only slightly larger than a basketball, but its flames were highly compressed, containing even greater power than the scattered Great Fireball Technique.

Ryosuke’s eyes narrowed slightly as the Two-Tomoe Sharingan spun rapidly. After forming hand seals, he slammed his hands onto the ground.

”Earth Release: Earth-Style Wall!”

The ground trembled as a thick earthen wall rose up.

Rumble!

Shakkahō struck the wall, instantly causing flames to erupt and explosions to ring out. The shockwave spread outward, and the force of the blast shattered the wall, sending debris flying and collapsing more than half of it.

A B-rank Earth Release Ninjutsu could not fully block it?

Ryosuke was stunned. This was impossible.

Such a small fireball had actually blown through the Earth-Style Wall?

The opponent was the same age as his younger brother.

At only six years old, he had already mastered two Ninjutsu of this level. Such talent was truly terrifying.

”Didn’t you say you would fight me with one hand and without using Ninjutsu?” Seiryū mocked lightly, then pushed off the ground and charged forward. Chakra surged and burst forth, his straight-line speed increasing dramatically.

This was Shunpo, an incomplete Shunpo, but its linear speed surpassed the Body Flicker Technique.

”Hmph.” Hearing the mockery, Ryosuke snorted coldly, unable to refute it.

He had said those words himself, only to break them with his own actions.

His pride as a member of the Uchiha Clan was wounded, filling him with frustration and anger.

The Two-Tomoe Sharingan rotated slightly, seeming even more sinister under the influence of his emotions, and his aura grew colder.

Now that he understood his opponent’s strength, he would not be careless.

If he truly fought with one hand and without Ninjutsu, he would lose miserably.

”Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique!”

After forming hand seals, Ryosuke spat out countless small fireballs, like scattered phoenix flower seeds, shooting toward Seiryū one after another.

At the same time, he stomped the ground, activated the Body Flicker Technique, and lunged forward.

Chi. Chi. Chi.

Although he had not learned sensory Ninjutsu, Seiryū’s five senses were exceptionally sharp, possibly due to the overlay of a transmigrator’s soul or the enhancement of his spiritual power.

His figure flickered as he deftly avoided the incoming fireballs. For those he could not evade, he waved his hand and surged chakra outward, forming small chakra barriers to block them.

This was Bakudō #8: Seki.

”As expected of a genius. To possess such strength at this age. But all your movements are completely exposed under my eyes. Geniuses are only meant to be trampled underfoot by the Uchiha Clan.” Ryosuke moved swiftly, his eyes crimson and cold, a sneer on his lips.

So what if he was a genius?

The age gap could not be bridged. He was several years older.

Ashamed?

Guilty?

He felt none of that.

Only the pleasure of crippling a genius and ensuring he could never recover.

”Blame yourself for being too high-profile and having no backing. Even if I cripple you here, no one would dare say a word, because I am from the prestigious Uchiha Clan!”

Ryosuke laughed darkly.

Arrogant and twisted.

He made no effort to hide his malice.

Even after witnessing his opponent’s strength and talent, that malice only grew stronger.

He believed without doubt that he could cripple him without consequence.

Because he was an Uchiha of Konoha, and the opponent was merely an outsider adopted by a Jonin.

”The prestigious Uchiha Clan…” Seiryū looked at Ryosuke charging toward him and suddenly smiled, a meaningful smile. ”How interesting.”

The Uchiha Clan truly was a family that produced lunatics. The one standing before him was clearly one of them.

Seiryū smiled, but there was a trace of coldness in it.

He tilted his head to avoid the punch aimed at him, then formed a hand seal with one hand and pointed his left hand at his opponent.

”Bakudō #1: Sai.”

Buzz.

Chakra surged from his fingertip, forming a black binding seal that locked Ryosuke’s arms and legs.

”Hm?”

Ryosuke instantly felt as if his limbs were magnetized. His hands were forced behind his back, and his brows furrowed.

However, Bakudō #1: Sai was a low-tier Bakudō, and its binding power was limited.

The moment Ryosuke sensed the restraint, he broke free with a burst of force.

But that brief instant was already seized by Seiryū.

He formed another hand seal and pointed his right index finger at Ryosuke’s shoulder.

”Hadō #4: Byakurai.”

Rip.

Lightning pierced straight through his shoulder. Blood splattered, followed by a scream.
