Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

The fierce battle continued.

Watching the taijutsu clash between the two in the arena, many people looked on in astonishment.

”Is that really Guy, the one with terrible grades?”

”He can actually fight Seiryū to this extent. So he was hiding his strength all along!”

”Pure taijutsu? It can actually be this impressive...”

”...”

No one expected that a battle purely of taijutsu could be so exciting, dazzling their eyes.

Even more unexpected was that the often-abstract Guy actually possessed such strength, able to fight Seiryū to this degree!

Obito, who hadn’t yet awakened his Sharingan, was somewhat unable to track the two’s movements, stunned into speechlessness. ”When did Guy get so strong? I could still fight him evenly during the end-of-term assessment last semester...”

They were both students with average or below-average grades in class. When did this thick-browed, big-eyed Guy become so powerful?

He felt a bit unwilling!

He had clearly trained very hard too, so why hadn’t he awakened his eyes yet?!

Asuma, chewing on a lollipop, glanced at Obito and sneered, ”It’s not that Guy was going easy on you. If you used that speed, you’d probably be knocked out before you even finished your hand seals!”

Kurenai chimed in, striking back at Asuma, ”Asuma, don’t just talk about Obito. I don’t think you’re Guy’s match right now either...”

Asuma: ”...”

Don’t expose a person’s weaknesses.

But he was already a mature adult, so he wouldn’t argue with her!

Rin was very surprised. ”Guy has improved so much too.”

Shizune nodded. ”And they haven’t used Ninjutsu, just a taijutsu showdown. I didn’t expect Guy to be able to block Seiryū’s Monster Strength Fist...”

Two years had passed, and she had officially become Tsunade’s disciple. She knew how terrifying the Monster Strength Fist was, but unfortunately, she couldn’t learn it...

Kakashi could keep up with their speed, but he sighed inwardly. ’Purely in terms of taijutsu, I’m not their match. That jutsu must be developed quickly...’

Originally, only Seiryū put pressure on him, but now he also felt considerable pressure from Guy.

His father’s judgment had truly been accurate...

Elsewhere, Ryota, with a gloomy look, quietly activated his Sharingan, one tomoe in one eye, two tomoe in the other. His gaze was fixed on the two fighting in front of him as he muttered, ”I can see it. Taijutsu is nothing special...”

”However, that guy still isn’t using his full power. He hasn’t used Ninjutsu yet...”

His talent was far superior to Obito’s. He had awakened the Uchiha Clan’s Bloodline Limit, the Sharingan, a year ago.

But in the practical training a year ago, he had still lost to Seiryū.

Although a year had passed and his strength had improved, Ryota wasn’t confident he could defeat Seiryū. That guy was a monster...

In the arena, the battle continued!

Bang bang bang...

The two exchanged blows, clashing in taijutsu. The ground in the arena was covered in numerous craters from their battle, the area looking devastated.

Seiryū didn’t use Ninjutsu, only taijutsu to fight Guy. Two years had passed, and naturally, his strength hadn’t stagnated.

Taijutsu, after receiving a reward from the Hakuda talent enhancement, was also one of his strengths!

And Guy, having opened the Third Gate of the Eight Gates, the Gate of Life, had significantly improved his physical capabilities. As a taijutsu specialist, the strength he displayed now was not weak.

Every punch and kick was immensely destructive!

Boom!!

Their fists and legs collided once again, this time even more violently. A roar erupted, and cracks spread from the ground beneath their feet.

It was clear that the force of this collision wasn’t weak!

Hiss...

A tremendous force struck, forcing Guy to retreat. His chest heaved violently, his breathing rapid, the burden on his body beginning to show. He didn’t have much time left...

Seiryū, however, looked as usual, only his clothes slightly dirty. He appeared completely unharmed...

There was still a gap in their strength!

Adjusting his breathing, Guy felt pain spreading throughout his body. He had reached his limit. He then spoke to Seiryū, ”You are truly too strong. I’ve trained very hard, but I’m still not your opponent. I concede.”

Opening the Third Gate was already his limit. His body was now overloaded. While he wasn’t injured, all his muscles were trembling slightly.

He always remembered his father’s words: stop when you reach your limit, otherwise it would have consequences in the future.

So he conceded directly.

Anyway, even if he continued fighting, he would still lose.

Seiryū was still stronger than him, and in this battle, Seiryū had only used taijutsu against him...

Seiryū slowly said, ”Don’t underestimate yourself. You’ve only been training this taijutsu secret technique for half a year, right? You can already directly confront my Monster Strength Fist. Your progress is greater than I imagined.”

Just by opening the Third Gate, Guy could directly counter his Monster Strength Fist.

Although it wasn’t his full power, the Eight Gates’ boost to strength was indeed terrifying.

If he had the chance, he would definitely learn it. The Third Great Ninja War was drawing closer, and having another trump card to survive was always a good thing...

After forming the Seal of Reconciliation, the two descended.

However, everyone’s gaze toward Guy had changed.

Guy only knew the Three Basic Jutsu, and his shuriken throwing was terrible, but they hadn’t expected him to possess such a hidden technique.

Based on Guy’s performance just now, among the third-year B class, apart from Seiryū, Kakashi, and Ryota, there weren’t many who could confidently say they could defeat Guy in actual combat.

This thick-browed, big-eyed guy, with his rather eccentric attire and personality, actually possessed such exaggerated taijutsu?

Indeed, you can’t judge a book by its cover!

As for Seiryū, they were already used to it and no longer surprised.

It would only be shocking if Seiryū were to lose.

But for nearly three years, Seiryū had remained undefeated, always holding first place!

Afterward.

The practical training class did not end.

One battle after another followed.

Undoubtedly.

It was still Seiryū and Kakashi who stood until the end, competing for first and second place!

Ryota was secretly disheartened. He had lost to Kakashi...

This scene was not the first time it had happened.

Throughout the past three years of practical training, it was almost always like this.

Seiryū first, Kakashi second, Ryota third.

Seiryū was a super genius. Kakashi was a top-tier genius. Ryota was an ordinary genius...

”Begin?”

”Begin!”

With the formation of the Confrontation Seal.

Seiryū and Kakashi began yet another practical battle.

Clang!

The battle with Guy was pure taijutsu, while the battle with Kakashi was a combination of kenjutsu and Ninjutsu.
