Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

”Hmm? Where is this?”

After an unknown amount of time, Seiryū opened his eyes. The first thing he saw was an unfamiliar ceiling, which left him a bit confused.

But soon, memories flooded back like a tide, and Seiryū remembered everything.

”Oh, I cured that bad woman’s Hemophobia, but I lost my first kiss, and that bad woman tried to swindle my money again...”

Recalling what had happened, Seiryū sighed lightly, a hint of grievance in his eyes.

He was no longer pure.

And he was the one who cured the bad woman’s Hemophobia, yet that bad woman actually wanted to swindle him out of five million Ryo...

That was beyond unethical.

She should be the one paying him the consultation fee!

Seiryū propped himself up with his right hand. He felt weak and exhausted and slowly exhaled. ”As expected, recovering from excessive blood loss takes time...”

He estimated that he would need two or three more days to fully recover.

To cure Tsunade’s Hemophobia, Seiryū had gone all out.

He paid such a huge price, and Tsunade not only showed no gratitude, she even tried to scam him for five million Ryo?

Ungrateful bad woman!

”Hmm? No, my clothes...”

Then, Seiryū discovered an even more serious problem. The bloodstains on his body were gone, and he was now dressed in a white women’s T-shirt.

The blankets and sheets were also clean, without a trace of blood.

This... this...

He had been seen naked again?

No, maybe even touched all over!

And he didn’t even know it had happened.

Seiryū slumped back onto the clean bed, his eyes dull and lifeless, a ’broken’ expression on his face. After a moment of contemplating life, he gritted his teeth. ”Who was it? Who stripped me and did this without permission... This is a crime, a crime!!”

Seiryū was furious.

Being ’defiled’ while unconscious had dealt far more psychological damage than losing his first, second, or third kiss.

Not only had someone seen him naked, his entire body must have been touched.

Who could it have been?

It couldn’t have been Shizune. It could only be that big bad woman, Tsunade!

It was over. His purity was gone.

How could such a thing happen to him?

Gurgle...

His stomach rumbled loudly, echoing his frustration. Seiryū realized he was starving and urgently needed food.

”Since it’s come to this, I’ll eat first, then settle accounts with that bad woman!”

Suppressing his indignation, eating was the top priority. He needed to replenish his energy to recover faster.

He glanced out the window. The sun was setting, and dusk had already fallen.

It was winter, and it got dark early. Judging by the light outside, it was probably around five in the afternoon.

”Did I sleep for seven or eight hours?”

Although his body was weak, he could still move. Seiryū threw off the blanket, got out of bed, and found that he was only wearing underwear on his lower half.

His face went even more expressionless.

He looked around the room and found that his clothes were nowhere to be seen. He could only wear the oversized white T-shirt and leave it at that.

He pushed open the door and headed toward the living room.

”Damn bad woman, what did you do to me?”

His voice arrived before he did. Seiryū hadn’t even seen Tsunade yet but was already shouting. He had to vent his anger, or he’d go mad.

”What are you yelling about? We have a guest. Quiet down. Also, you’re a patient. Act like one. Why are you shouting?”

Tsunade, sitting in the living room, heard Seiryū’s voice. A vein bulged on her forehead, and her tone was unfriendly, though there was some concern mixed in.

This brat, it wasn’t possible to recover so quickly after such a massive blood loss.

Even with the Uzumaki Clan’s physique, it was still dangerous!

What was he yelling for?

Still, she was a little surprised that he woke up this quickly.

”Guest?”

Seiryū paused, confused.

Tsunade’s house actually had a guest?

That was rare.

Then, a somewhat hoarse, effeminate voice followed.

”Hehehe, to think you’d actually bring a patient into your house. That’s quite unlike you, Tsunade.”

The voice made Seiryū raise an eyebrow.

If any voice in Konoha was unforgettable, it was Orochimaru’s.

He stepped through the hallway and into the living room. His eyes landed on a slender, androgynous man with long black hair, pale skin, and vertical golden pupils seated across from Tsunade on the sofa.

”It really is Orochimaru.”

Seiryū had a deep impression of Orochimaru. After all, Aunt Snake lived all the way into the Boruto timeline.

Come to think of it, he’d been in Konoha for about three years, but this was his first time seeing Orochimaru in person. They had practically never crossed paths.

Tsunade snorted and replied to Orochimaru, ”Just a brat who likes to self-harm.”

Seiryū: ”...”

When did he get labeled as someone who likes to self-harm?

”Self-harm?”

Orochimaru looked a little puzzled, then turned to look at Seiryū.

Upon seeing him, his eyes flickered slightly, and he licked his lips subconsciously. A faint, sinister smile spread across his face. ”Jiraiya’s disciple. Your name is Seiryū, right? I’ve heard much about you. The famous genius of Konoha...”

Orochimaru wasn’t unfamiliar with him.

Jiraiya’s disciple. A well-known genius in Konoha. A descendant of the Uzumaki Clan.

But what did Tsunade mean by self-harm?

And why did it seem like this kid was unusually close to Tsunade?

If he hadn’t misheard just now, Seiryū had called Tsunade a bad woman?

And those clothes... weren’t they Tsunade’s?

”Orochimaru-sama is too kind. It’s merely an empty reputation.”

Although it was their first meeting, Seiryū didn’t act unfamiliar. He greeted Orochimaru politely.

Orochimaru was dangerous.

But at the moment, he hadn’t defected and was still a part of Konoha.

Given Seiryū’s identity, he didn’t believe Orochimaru would try anything—probably.

Tsunade, however, glared at Seiryū and snorted. ”Brat, why are you so respectful to Orochimaru, but to me, it’s always ’bad woman’?”

As fellow Sannin, this kid’s attitude toward them was completely different!

”If you pay back the money you owe me, I’ll even call you Tsunade-sama in a cutesy voice!”

Seiryū fired back immediately.

He was still holding a grudge about being seen naked and touched without permission.

Tsunade gave him a glare but didn’t argue further. Instead, she asked, ”How’s your body? Any discomfort?”

Seiryū had already assessed his own condition. He was a Medical-nin, after all. ”Still a bit weak. I’ll recover in two days. But I’m starving. Got anything to eat?”

”Hmph. You’re lucky you’re not dead. How dare you pull a stunt like that...”

Tsunade recalled the events from that morning and still felt a chill in her chest.

After leaving a curt, ”Wait here,” she stood and headed toward the kitchen with decisive steps.

Only Seiryū and Orochimaru remained in the room.

Shizune was probably in the kitchen preparing dinner. Seiryū had heard sounds from there earlier when he came out.

Listening to Tsunade’s comment, Orochimaru became even more intrigued. He examined Seiryū with a smile. ”So this is our first proper meeting since you became Jiraiya’s disciple. I didn’t expect it to be at Tsunade’s home.”

What exactly was the relationship between these two?

So curious.
