Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

A month had passed since the new semester began.

Today was Sunday, and also New Year’s Day.

The Ninja Academy was on a three-day holiday.

Around nine o’clock, Seiryū finally got out of bed.

After washing up and eating.

Seiryū left his home and headed straight for a certain location.

Tsunade’s house.

What for?

To collect a debt.

Collecting debt for the New Year.

Tsunade’s house was once the ancestral home of the Senju Clan, located below the Hokage Rock, considered the most prosperous area in Konoha.

Seiryū walked familiar paths. It wasn’t his first time going there.

Soon, he arrived at Tsunade’s house.

It was an old-looking house, but nicely renovated.

The key point was its large area, several times the size of the Yūhi household, and it was in a prosperous area of Konoha.

Property prices weren’t cheap.

Tsunade was a hidden wealthy person, yet she always claimed to be broke and refused to pay him back.

He pushed open the front door directly. It wasn’t locked.

Seiryū walked in familiarly, went to the kitchen, and found Shizune cooking. After greeting her, he asked, ”Where’s that Bad Woman?”

Seeing the ”aggressive” Seiryū, Shizune’s eyelid twitched. She could guess his intention. It wasn’t the first time, and she felt rather helpless about it. ”Tsunade-sama is still sleeping...”

”Oh.”

Seiryū nodded.

After saying a few words to Shizune, he walked toward the inner room on his own.

In front of a room, Seiryū looked at the tightly closed door, didn’t knock, and just shouted, ”Bad Woman, I’m here to collect my debt! I know you cured a rich patient yesterday and have money now, quickly pay me back what you owe me!”

”Mmm...”

Seiryū’s hearing was excellent. He heard Tsunade’s lazy voice from inside the room, but it quickly fell silent.

A vein twitched on Seiryū’s forehead. He was a bit angry and ’patted’ the room door loudly.

He shouted, ”Bad Woman, you have the nerve to owe me money, but not the nerve to open the door! Don’t think that just staying silent means you can default on the debt!”

Still no movement.

”Very good!”

Seiryū was so angry he laughed. He raised his foot and kicked the door open in one smooth motion, clearly not the first time he had done it.

After kicking open the door, Seiryū walked straight in.

As soon as he entered, he smelled a faint fragrance. His gaze fell on a certain woman on the bed.

Tsunade’s golden hair was loosely spread across the bed. Her eyes were shut tightly, lashes long. She wore a light yellow nightgown, her sleeping posture poor, with only half her body covered by the quilt.

It was winter. Wasn’t this woman afraid of the cold?

Or did the Yin Seal also have a constant temperature effect?

Seiryū’s eyes immediately caught a pair of dazzlingly white long legs, and further down, her small feet with red nail polish were particularly eye-catching.

He lingered on her beautiful legs and exquisite feet for a few seconds before moving his gaze away.

Seiryū was a leg fetishist and a foot fetishist, but he wouldn’t stare endlessly. Instead, he narrowed his eyes at Tsunade, who still had her eyes closed, and snorted coldly, ”Quickly pay me back the money you owe me, or else use something else as collateral!”

”You’re so annoying!!”

A frustrated voice came from Tsunade’s mouth, like she had morning sickness. She opened her eyes and sat up straight.

Her beautiful eyes locked onto Seiryū with a dangerous glint, nearly gritting her teeth. ”Why are you here again, you brat? Scram, scram, I don’t have money, I lost it all yesterday!”

She paused, then frowned as if recalling something. ”Wait, when did I owe you money, you brat? Didn’t I teach you Medical Ninjutsu as repayment?”

This scoundrel always had money on his mind.

When did she owe him money?

She even taught him Medical Ninjutsu in return.

”Just giving me a medical book to study on my own counts as teaching? And you charged extra for asking questions? I treat you as a Sensei, and you treat me as a fool? That’s not right.”

Seiryū shook his head. ”Anyway, that medical book isn’t worth hundreds of thousands of Ryo to me. Let’s say it’s worth 100,000 Ryo, that sounds about right. I’ve already cleared that debt.”

”But you still owe me 500,000 Ryo.”

”If you can’t pay it back, use something else as collateral.”

The creditor is paramount. If there’s no money, use other things.

No one could default on Seiryū’s debt.

Sooner or later, he would empty Tsunade of all her valuable things. More advanced Medical Ninjutsu, the Yin Seal, Creation Rebirth...

Hmm, if she still couldn’t repay, then she could just repay with herself.

After all, Tsunade was also a top-tier beauty.

After hearing Seiryū’s words, Tsunade was so angry she laughed. ”My Tsunade Hime’s medical handbook is only worth 100,000 Ryo? Why don’t you just rob someone!?”

Seiryū replied honestly, ”I learned from you, you Bad Woman. If I say it’s only worth 100,000 Ryo, then that’s what it’s worth. How can robbing be as fast as this?”

Tsunade: ”...”

Such familiar words. Weren’t those the very things she had said herself?

This scoundrel actually remembered for two years. Was he sick in the head?

No, this kid was indeed sick in the head...

Two years had passed, and she still couldn’t cure Seiryū’s illness, because there was no entry point.

She couldn’t just cut open his skull to see if something was missing from his brain, could she?

But the harder the challenge, the more it ignited her fighting spirit.

That was why she hadn’t left Konoha in two years. She was essentially locked in a battle with Seiryū’s brain.

Tsunade crossed her arms over her chest. Her nightgown barely contained her ample bosom. She shook her head and sneered, ”Anyway, I don’t owe you money. If you have proof, show it.”

”Of course I have proof.”

Seiryū had long anticipated her attempt to default. With a snap, he pulled out a small notebook from his ninja tool pouch.

He opened a page and began to recount. ”Last year in January and March, you dragged me to the izakaya, and I paid for your drinks. In June and September, you dragged me to the casino, and when you lost everything, you borrowed a lot of money from me.”

He turned to another page. ”This year in April... July...”

”These are your thumbprints. There’s evidence for a total of 400,000 Ryo, and 100,000 Ryo that you’re trying to default on without evidence, making a total of 500,000 Ryo. The evidence is solid. You can’t deny it.”

The thumbprints were legally binding.

Of course, given Tsunade’s shamelessness, Seiryū didn’t expect her to actually pay.

But she had to use other things as collateral.

Bang!

Tsunade slammed her palm heavily onto the bed, making it shake.

Sticking out her slender neck, she said with an unpleasant expression, ”Oh, you actually faked my fingerprints? Did you memorize my fingerprints and then use Transformation Jutsu to press them yourself?”

What kind of evidence was that?

It didn’t count.

This kid must have memorized her fingerprints and used Transformation Jutsu to press them himself. Otherwise, why would she have no memory of it?

It was simply nonsense.

Seiryū was silent.

He had underestimated Tsunade’s shamelessness.

But... he still had a backup plan. She couldn’t possibly default on the debt.

Seiryū held up the small notebook in his hand and said calmly, ”To prevent you from defaulting, this notebook was specially made by me. I used chakra paper to record a person’s chakra reaction, and I added chakra metal powder to the ink pad, which absorbs a tiny bit of your chakra.”

”So, the fingerprints in the notebook carry your chakra reaction.”

”Don’t tell me I can even fake your chakra reaction.”

After so many rounds of ”battling wits” with Tsunade and having 100,000 Ryo defaulted on him,

Seiryū had learned his lesson.

Naturally, he wouldn’t continue being the scapegoat. His preparations were very thorough.

After hearing this, Tsunade’s mouth began to twitch uncontrollably. ”...”

This kid was really sick. He actually made something like this.

Just to stop her from defaulting?

What a lunatic.

More importantly, he hadn’t revealed it all this time, only showing his hand now?

This kid was too insidious and too shameless.

She had been outsmarted...
