Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

Orochimaru left after dinner.

Seiryū, however, was forcibly kept by Tsunade.

Do you know what forcibly means?

It means being unable to help oneself.

In Tsunade’s words, Seiryū had to stay here for the next few days so she could observe his injuries.

But Seiryū knew that Tsunade, that bad woman, was trying to swindle his money. The evidence was conclusive, ten thousand Ryo a day.

Why does she not just rob me?

He could not beat her, and if he objected, he would get a knock on the head. Seiryū felt a bit lifeless, his body seemingly turning gray as he slumped on the sofa, secretly wallowing in self-pity.

What a sin.

He was depressed.

”Hah.”

Seeing Seiryū slumped on the sofa, looking somewhat lifeless, Tsunade could not help but laugh.

He really was handsome, and this half-dead appearance could not conceal his good looks.

Instead, it gave him the air of a sickly youth, which could stir up a protective instinct.

”What are you laughing at?”

Hearing Tsunade’s laughter, Seiryū turned and glared at her.

His tone was full of resentment, and he gritted his teeth. ”I cured your hemophobia, and this is how you treat me? Where is the logic in that? You are infuriating me.”

Tsunade folded her arms and said with a smile, ”You are my patient now, and a patient needs to listen to their doctor. My consultation fees are naturally high, and ten thousand Ryo a day is already cheap for you.”

”I am a Medical-nin myself, do I not know my own body? I just lost too much blood and am a bit weak. There is no need for treatment at all. You are forcing a sale.”

”My words are the truth. I am a Medical-nin. If I say you are sick, you are sick. If I say you need treatment, you need treatment.”

”You…”

Seiryū felt a headache coming on. ’Damn it, you are imitating me, aren’t you?’

How could there be such a shameless woman?

Seiryū was utterly convinced. He already thought his own skin was thick enough, but compared to Tsunade, he was still a step behind.

Lying back on the sofa, Seiryū was too lazy to speak, but his expression grew even grayer, looking completely broken.

When he gets stronger in the future, he will definitely teach this bad woman a lesson.

Seiryū secretly set a goal for himself, no, a dream.

After opening a BBQ restaurant next to Ichiraku Ramen, becoming an astronaut to stand shoulder to shoulder with the sun, hoping for peace in the shinobi world, contracting the Forest of Death to open a tourist attraction, and becoming Sage Seiryū, he now had another dream: to teach Tsunade a lesson.

”I always feel like you are thinking something very bad.”

Tsunade noticed Seiryū’s peripheral vision occasionally glancing at her, his eyes revealing a hint of indignation.

From her understanding of him, he was definitely harboring some wicked thoughts.

Seiryū spoke frankly. ”I have a new dream, a dream that must be fulfilled. When I get stronger, I will definitely teach you a lesson.”

Tsunade was silent.

Then she laughed, a beautiful but also dangerous laugh. ”You have got guts, kid, to say you will teach me a lesson right to my face? Hehehe, interesting, very interesting.”

Seeing Tsunade’s dangerous smile, Seiryū’s heart skipped a beat, and he quickly said, ”Hey, hey, I am injured right now, a very weak injured person. Do not do anything rash.”

”Now you are scared, but it is too late.”

Tsunade snorted coldly and flashed in front of Seiryū.

She did not knock his head, but instead began to rub Seiryū’s head.

”Bastard, do not touch my head.”

Seiryū cursed. He also hated it when others touched his head.

”You know, your hair is quite soft. What shampoo do you usually use?”

”I use Pantene. Makes you feel more confident. Head & Shoulders is great too, really knocks out dandruff. Oh, and I’ve tried Old Spice shampoo… smells like victory.”

Tsunade was speechless.

This kid is acting erratic again.

Could his condition really be worsening?

He needs more attention in the future. If it continues to worsen, it will be very bad.

If he dares to make such excessive moves today, who knows what he will do in the future.

”Alright, stop your babbling. I have never even heard of the things you are talking about, and I do not know where you heard them from.”

Tsunade lightly tapped Seiryū’s head, interrupting his endless chatter.

Gently tidying Seiryū’s red short hair that she had ruffled, Tsunade said, ”Considering you cured my hemophobia, I can be your Jōnin Instructor, however…”

”However what?”

Seiryū looked at Tsunade, who was so close. Her face was exquisite, her skin fair like white jade, and a faint fragrance wafted to his nose.

He could not help but sigh. The Yin Seal was truly amazing.

Even at such a close distance, he could not see any flaws on Tsunade’s face.

Excellent. He was definitely going to learn the Yin Seal.

Tsunade’s light brown eyes stared into Seiryū’s, and she said seriously, ”You cannot keep doing such excessive things in the future, understand?”

After two years of getting along, she regarded Seiryū as a somewhat unreliable younger brother.

Although this brat was far too disrespectful to her.

But she found it quite enjoyable to be with Seiryū.

What happened this morning also had a great impact on her.

She did not want to see Seiryū get hurt or have any accidents.

She had to sternly warn him not to do such dangerous things again.

”Huh? Excessive? What is excessive?”

Upon hearing Tsunade’s words, Seiryū frowned, pointed to his neck where there was still a red mark, and asked hesitantly, ”Are you referring to my action of cutting my own carotid artery?”

Tsunade continued to stare at Seiryū. ”What do you think?”

Seiryū’s eyes showed confusion, profound confusion, and it was not feigned. ”How is that excessive? Although I admit it was a bit bold, it has not reached the point of being excessive, has it?”

What was so excessive about that?

Making a fuss over nothing.

He thought it was very normal, very natural.

True excess would not be such a small matter.

Rather, it would be to kill the people Tsunade knew, was familiar with, and was close to, one by one, in cruel ways right in front of her, using their deaths to stimulate Tsunade and make her overcome hemophobia with hatred.

That would be truly excessive.

Of course, Seiryū naturally could not do such an excessive act to Tsunade.

That was why he used a bolder method, cutting his own carotid artery, to help Tsunade overcome her hemophobia.

Anyway, Seiryū was confident he would not die, and everything was still within controllable limits.

How is this excessive? Absolutely ridiculous.

Hearing this, Tsunade took a deep breath, her eyes filled with solemnity.

From Seiryū’s eyes, she could tell.

Seiryū truly believed that cutting his own carotid artery was merely a bold act, not an excessive one.

Seiryū’s way of understanding things differed from ordinary people, with serious deviations.

This could be seen from Seiryū’s unusually abnormal sense of taste.

But this time, the situation was somewhat different, with a greater impact.

She was not sure if Seiryū’s condition had worsened, or if it had always been this way.

But one thing was certain, she had greatly underestimated the severity of Seiryū’s condition.
