Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

”Who are you?”

Seiryū suppressed the excitement in his heart, though he couldn’t help but feel thrilled. This was definitely a reward package—he had a hunch.

He also trusted the system’s reliability.

Whenever someone came to cause trouble, the system would definitely refresh a mission. He had already figured out the pattern behind its releases!

”An Uchiha Clan member?” Kurenai also looked warily at the uninvited guest, identifying his affiliation from his clothing.

He was from the Uchiha Clan.

She had a bad feeling about him.

Because Seiryū had never said anything like that.

This was clearly someone looking for trouble!

”Who I am isn’t important.”

The Uchiha youth ignored Kurenai, keeping his gaze fixed on Seiryū, sneering, ”What matters is that I want to witness the strength of a so-called genius like you!”

”Since you dared to boast that no Genin in Konoha is your match, then let me, a Genin, see it for myself.”

”Don’t worry, I won’t bully a kid like you. I’ll fight with one hand and won’t use Ninjutsu!”

His name was Uchiha Ryosuke, Ryota’s older brother.

The reason he came looking for trouble with Seiryū was simple—he doted on his younger brother and wanted to avenge his so-called humiliation.

Someone had bullied his beloved younger brother. How could he, as an older brother, possibly tolerate that?

Of course, the other reason was that this so-called genius’s reputation had become too prominent, and he didn’t like it one bit!

To avoid being accused of bullying a child, he needed a good excuse. Making up something to pin on the other party worked perfectly.

That way, he could justify avenging his brother and crush the target with a clean conscience.

Now that he finally found the target ”alone,” it was a rare opportunity he wouldn’t miss!

The system hadn’t chimed yet, so Seiryū decided to follow the script and deliberately put on a serious expression. ”I never said anything like that. What exactly is your goal?”

Seeing Seiryū’s ’serious’ expression, Kurenai also grew tense. ”Seiryū, what do we do?”

The Uchiha in front of them looked twelve or thirteen and wore a Konoha forehead protector, meaning he was already a Genin.

Although she trusted Seiryū’s strength and believed that ordinary Genin wouldn’t be a match for him, this one was an Uchiha Genin—he might’ve already awakened the Sharingan!

Seiryū patted Kurenai lightly and whispered, ”It’s fine. I’ll handle it.”

”Heh, dare to say it but not admit it?” Uchiha Ryosuke lifted his chin, his expression full of disdain.

He’d used a lot of brain cells to come up with this excuse.

He couldn’t miss this opportunity.

Staring at Seiryū with sinister eyes, his smile turned cold—completely inappropriate for someone his age. His voice was dripping with mockery. ”If you’re scared, then crawl between my legs. Do that, and I’ll let you go. I’ll let your sister go too!”

Saying that, he spread his legs, smiling maliciously.

Forcing a genius known throughout Konoha to crawl between his legs would not only avenge his younger brother, who had been suppressed in every way, but would also bring him great satisfaction.

Only the Uchiha Clan were true geniuses!

Crushing this so-called genius and breaking his spirit would allow his little brother to surpass him and become the strongest in the Ninja Academy!!

[Ding. A formal member of the Gotei 13 is attacking, intending to suppress the Host. As the future Soul King who governs the Three Worlds, anyone who dares to strike down or oppress the Host will pay a heavy price!]

[Mission Released: Powerfully defeat the attacking Gotei 13 member!]

[Mission Reward: Bakudō #30. Shitotsu Sansen!]

Just as Seiryū expected, the system chimed and a mission was issued.

But Seiryū didn’t pay it much attention. Instead, he looked at the opponent calmly and said coldly, ”Let me go? Let my sister go?”

He’d long known the Uchiha Clan were all lunatics.

But this was the first time he’d truly witnessed Uchiha-style lunacy up close.

This ”grown-up Ryota” in front of him—his expression, his temperament, his entire demeanor—was the very picture of a psychopath.

That cold smile, those malicious words, it was hard to believe they came from a twelve or thirteen-year-old. This wasn’t a childish scuffle. The malice was palpable...

”You…” Kurenai gritted her teeth. This guy was hateful! Making Seiryū crawl under his crotch?

That was way too insulting!

And he even dragged her into it to threaten Seiryū!

How could someone be so malicious!

”That’s right. As long as you crawl through, I’ll let you go.” Uchiha Ryosuke’s smile grew even more twisted, like a cat playing with its prey.

His once-dark pupils turned scarlet, with two black tomoe spinning within.

The Uchiha Clan’s Kekkei Genkai—Sharingan!

As his Sharingan activated, Ryosuke’s aura seemed to turn more sinister. His expression grew colder, his tone even more cruel. ”So? Isn’t that a good deal? Or do you want to fight me, someone who’s awakened the Two-Tomoe Sharingan?”

Compared to his younger brother, he had better talent and had already reached the Two-Tomoe stage.

His strength was far beyond that of an average Genin. Even most Chūnin weren’t a match for him. He was already preparing to enter the next Chūnin Exams.

And he was 99% confident he would pass and become a Chūnin of Konoha!

Looking at that sinister face, Kurenai—still inexperienced with this kind of situation—felt a little frightened. Her body trembled slightly as she whispered, ”Seiryū… let’s run. He looks really scary...”

”Don’t worry. It’s fine.” Seiryū gave Kurenai a reassuring smile. But when he turned his gaze forward, the smile disappeared. ”Can I take that as a threat?”

The hostility was obvious. The other party wanted to target both him and Kurenai...

Seiryū might usually be light-hearted, but that didn’t mean he didn’t have a temper. Right now, he was angry.

”Heh, what? Getting mad?” Uchiha Ryosuke narrowed his eyes as he studied Seiryū. The other party’s calmness irritated him.

Facing someone who had activated the Two-Tomoe Sharingan, he should be scared—shaking, seething, acting tough but actually terrified.

Not this calm.

Heh. This was good. Geniuses were always arrogant. Crushing that arrogance would bring even more satisfaction!

”That’s right. I’m threatening you—”

”I see. Are you ready?”

Seiryū cut off his nonsense. He understood enough. His gaze remained calm, but a cold glint flashed within.

Without waiting for a reply, he formed a single hand seal and pointed his finger. ”Hado #4: Byakurai.”

Crack!

Lightning crackled from Seiryū’s fingertip and shot out!

”Hmph!” Seeing Seiryū attack directly, Uchiha Ryosuke snorted coldly.

How bold. He actually dared to resist?

His Two-Tomoe Sharingan gave him powerful dynamic vision. He could vaguely follow the lightning’s path. With a step, he used the Body Flicker Technique to dodge.

Buzz buzz buzz…

But in the next instant, Ryosuke’s ears twitched at a buzzing sound approaching rapidly.

Turning his head, he saw Seiryū closing in fast, a rapidly spinning Chakra sphere in his hand, his expression calm.

The distance between them was already short...
