Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

A new Array formed at the tip of Bai Jin’s Magic Wand,

”[Earth Melting]”

In an instant, the ground centered around Bai Jin, enveloped by the [Power of Earth], turned into a puddle of muddy water, like melting ice cream, sticky and unmanageable.

Bai Jin’s Task was to delay [Red Flame Monarch] Ammonval as much as possible, giving Yang Yu and the others enough time to deal with the Demon Clan cadres in [Red Flame Monarch]’s forces.

But she couldn’t blatantly use various Control Magic all the time.

Bai Jin needed to make [Red Flame Monarch] Ammonval believe that this was a genuine duel, not a painstaking strategy of constraints and tugging.

Only then would [Red Flame Monarch] Ammonval fight earnestly without discovering Yang Yu’s stealthy actions.

In this duel, Bai Jin not only needed to display her own Strength but also enough acting skill.

Ordinary Water Magic or Ice Magic, under the roasting flames of [Red Flame Monarch] Ammonval, would only turn into steam. Other attribute Magic had control as well but was not as handy as Ice Magic or Water Magic.

Earth Magic was labor-intensive and time-consuming, requiring a certain amount of Strength to activate the Magic Power contained in the earth. But for now, Earth Magic was the ideal choice to deal with [Red Flame Monarch] Ammonval.

The ground turned muddy, [Red Flame Monarch] Ammonval sank several centimeters, his feet firmly bound by the sticky mud, tethered to the ground.

Bai Jin quickly chanted the Spell, a Magic Array swiftly formed under [Red Flame Monarch] Ammonval’s feet,

”[Fallen Hole]!”

In an instant, the land under [Red Flame Monarch] Ammonval rapidly subsided.

[Red Flame Monarch] Ammonval did not panic despite being trapped beneath the earth; he swung his long knife, activating Skill:

”[Shield Shattering]”

This Skill was exactly the same as the [Shield Shattering] used by Yang Yu, capable of effortlessly shattering others’ Shield Type Skills and reducing the target’s Defense.

[Red Flame Monarch] Ammonval’s long knife struck heavily on Bai Jin’s Shield, and her Magic Shield collapsed instantly, scattering as shining shards.

Bai Jin did not retreat.

Thrusting the Magic Wand [Sigh Seed] deeply into the ground, Bai Jin used the Magic Wand [Sigh Seed] to block [Red Flame Monarch] Ammonval’s long knife, getting fiercely knocked back.

Raising her hand, several white Arrays flared brightly before Bai Jin, slender light snakes surged rapidly from the Arrays, smashing onto [Red Flame Monarch] Ammonval, gradually sinking into the pit, penetrating the nearby ground, forming chains that sealed [Red Flame Monarch] Ammonval’s movements from all directions.

Bai Jin’s actions did not pause, using [Lightweight] to reduce her own weight, utilizing the force of [Red Flame Monarch] Ammonval’s strike to distance herself from him.

Swiftly brewing new Magic, Bai Jin attacked again.

Each [Compressed Air Cannon] shot out like shells, in the blink of an eye, reached [Red Flame Monarch] Ammonval’s side, exploded with a bang, releasing countless tiny Wind Blades inside.

Pulled by Lightning Chain, [Red Flame Monarch] Ammonval extricated his feet from the muddy ground and strutted forward.

A molten Shield enveloped him instantly, Bai Jin’s [Compressed Air Cannon] hit the boiling molten rock like throwing stone after stone into a hot volcano, splattering lava each time.

The stones ultimately failed to cover the lava, and instead, were wholly devoured.

Bai Jin’s magic was completely consumed by the scalding molten Shield.

[Red Flame Monarch] Ammonval continued moving forward, the heat spreading in the pit, drying the surrounding soil, and he snapped off Lightning Chains with ease, jumping out of the pit.

The Molten Rock Shield gradually cooled, cracking open, ejecting countless smoky Black Stones.

”Is this the Strength of the Four Heavenly Kings?”

Wielding the Magic Wand to cast a Hurricane, wrapping the incoming Black Stones into a group, Bai Jin could see the calm and slight excitement on [Red Flame Monarch] Ammonval’s face.

A wave of Hot Wind flashed, a voice flickered beside Bai Jin’s ear:

”Not bad.”

In Bai Jin’s perception, [Red Flame Monarch] Ammonval used some Skill to appear in front of her, his sharp long knife slashing towards her face.

Meanwhile, three Flame Slashes crisscrossed through [Red Flame Monarch] Ammonval, quickly converging on Bai Jin, forming a bright ”Ge” shape, striking towards Bai Jin’s chest.

Moreover, a rotating flame vortex formed under [Red Flame Monarch] Ammonval’s feet, drawing Bai Jin into his attack.

In this brief moment, three Skills were used in total...

Bai Jin did not have time to weave Shield Magic, seeing [Red Flame Monarch] Ammonval’s combined attack about to land on her, Bai Jin leaned right to activate [Instant Movement Shoes]’s effect, quickly moving left a distance, dodging beneath the ”Ge” shape, simultaneously, avoiding [Red Flame Monarch] Ammonval’s slash.

[Red Flame Monarch] Ammonval’s long knife struck firmly against the ground, instantly cracking it open, vivid red flames burst from the gap, forming several fire columns.

The crisis hadn’t resolved.

Bai Jin stabilized her figure; in a blink, [Red Flame Monarch] Ammonval raised his hand and unleashed several small fireballs, accurately hitting Bai Jin.

The fireballs did not knock Bai Jin back, instead, they clung to her like a bone-deep plague, blossoming into flame roses.

Then, they exploded.

”Boom boom boom——”

Bai Jin’s shoulder felt like someone planted dozens of firecrackers, delivering nonstop explosion sounds.

Thanks to the [Fire-Repelling Robe], [Red Flame Monarch] Ammonval’s attack didn’t inflict much harm on Bai Jin, although the nonstop explosions left Bai Jin’s ears a bit sore.

Using magic to lift her body, Bai Jin leaped backward continuously, the flames [Red Flame Monarch] Ammonval launched at her vanished with the wind, Bai Jin prepared new magic for counterattack.

[Red Flame Monarch] Ammonval uttered a faint laugh, flames blazed in his eyes, originally thinking Bai Jin would quickly suffer his damage, yet she dissolved it once more, this opponent is worthy of being brought down!

Outside the flame-encircled duel area, Yang Yu felt a moment of tension from the recent fight.

[Red Flame Monarch] Ammonval had consecutively used two Skills Yang Yu had never seen before, indicating his respect for Bai Jin’s Strength.

Yang Yu was unaware of how many unseen Skills or trump cards [Red Flame Monarch] Ammonval still had, he could only trust Bai Jin to show the same capacity for judgement as earlier when facing those unknown Skills or tools.

Only by doing so could Yang Yu and the others handle nearby Demon Clan cadres without worry.
