Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

”...If you think this women’s clothing will affect my actions, then you’re really underestimating me.”

Ah, no!

This equipment at most just looks a tiny bit like women’s gear.

Even if it is women’s gear, so what... never mind, that is indeed a big problem.

I don’t want to run around wearing something tight like Pingru.

Maybe she just wanted to cover that tight outfit, which is why she is so fond of this equipment.”

Yang Yu smiled at Bai Jin who was holding him, making a joke.

Although he didn’t know why Bai Jin took action suddenly, Yang Yu still decided to leave the most dangerous part to himself.

Bai Jin did not let go, still insisting on her idea:

”What if that Four Heavenly King can fly?

With your lack of means against aerial attacks, it’s hard to stop him from flying into the sky.

If he suddenly flies up, you on the ground will only become his target.

Although you can rely on agility to dodge, you surely can avoid him, but if he targets us, how would you respond?”

”That indeed is a problem.” Yang Yu said, pinching his chin and pondering, ”so far, there’s no intelligence on him flying. He is a flame-wielding warrior; to deal with airborne enemies, he doesn’t need to specifically fly, just control flames to attack the sky.”

”But must be prepared for the unexpected.

If he really possesses the means to fly, I can handle it first and restrict him to the ground.

Also, the task you assigned us, you should be able to complete better, right?

That is also the power of the relic, right? To find certain people among the crowd...

If you’re commanding, there won’t be any oversights.

If it’s just us, we can recognize those obvious officers, but those stealthily hidden Demon Clan cadres won’t be so easy to deal with.

If they secretly report, persuading that Four Heavenly King to ignore one-on-one duels, our plan will end in failure.

I was originally hesitant too, but after seeing this thing, I think I would make a better decoy, getting the plan closer to success.”

After listening to Bai Jin, Yang Yu understood Bai Jin’s thought process; she truly pondered how to enhance the plan’s success rate.

Before leaving Baihua City, Yang Yu considered various possibilities, and after deciding to borrow the Fire-Repelling Robe from Pingru, due to not knowing what equipment Pingru used to dissolve the flame magic, Yang Yu made various guesses.

If it’s gear suitable for a magician, handing it to Bai Jin, and having Bai Jin perform as a decoy is the superior choice, but Yang Yu still wanted to choose to restrain the Red Flame Monarch himself.

Yang Yu’s plan was simple.

The Red Flame Monarch leads the troops, currently unknown in his troop size or how many Demon Clan cadres are there.

After proposing a one-on-one duel to the Red Flame Monarch, the troops he leads would still launch an aggressive assault on the Resistance Army, ensuring a quick advance.

Generally speaking, as the ”Strongest Spear,” the Red Flame Monarch wouldn’t take long to finish the fight; his one-on-one duels with others are like minor episodes on the battlefield.

But if someone emerges who can compete on par with him, letting him completely focus on the battle, the situation would be vastly different.

Yang Yu’s plan is to have one among them use their strength to hold back the Red Flame Monarch, while the others quickly eliminate the Demon King Army’s officers, creating a power gap among the Demon King Army, leaving them powerless to halt them midway.

At that point, Yang Yu and the others could break the one-on-one combat situation and initiate a ”Justice” group fight.

Facing such an upright challenger, perhaps this plan seems despicable; if the Red Flame Monarch manages to escape, he would definitely harbor great resentment.

This strategy may only be used once.

If merely used for testing, it would turn out quite wasteful.

To execute this plan perfectly, the most crucial aspect is the one who can restrain the opponent, and then to swiftly locate the important figures among the Demon King Army to decapitate quickly.

With the Fire-Repelling Robe, the difficulty of stopping the Red Flame Monarch might significantly decrease, quickly locating army’s key figures and decapitating them becomes the pivotal factor for determining victory; Yang Yu and the others don’t want to see the Demon King Army suddenly retreat, letting the siege of Red Flame Monarch end in nothing.

Actually, with both Yang Yu and Bai Jin outside, letting Yang Yu search, and Bai Jin relay messages to everyone, it would be most efficient.

Yet, in the team, aside from Bai Jin and himself, sending anyone else to fight the Red Flame Monarch seemed unreliable.

Now Bai Jin had volunteered herself, explaining her reasoning.

Yang Yu felt a bit reluctant in his heart, and after remaining silent for a long while, he gave a response:

”I can find certain people among the crowd; this indeed is one of the abilities granted by the relic.

Furthermore, I can to some extent see the potential each person holds, and the direction they’re proficient in now.

Bai Jin, here’s the deal!

We still don’t know what kind of enemy we will face.

Warriors are of many types: they can be categorized by their specialized skills or divided by different roles.

If that Four Heavenly King excels in magic, then you go to obstruct him.

If, however, that Four Heavenly King is more proficient in various close-combat attacks, then I’ll handle the defense and resistance.

Is there no complaint now?”

After hearing Yang Yu’s words, Bai Jin felt this indeed was a reasonably sound method of resolution, nodded:

”When the time comes, don’t lie.

According to current intelligence, he employs both attacks.

His use of magic and combat’s intensity is clear to me, don’t take me for a blind person!”

Yang Yu couldn’t help but chuckle:

”We will still be spending a long, long time together in the future; if trust crumbles over this matter, I would be heartbroken.

If because I lied to you, causing future plans to be hesitant, I’d be quite distressed too.

Since you have no objections, it’s settled then!

However, if you intend to take on such a task, some matters must be explained to you properly.

As challengers, there are words one must say to entice the high and mighty monarchs, to gain the opportunity for a challenge.

Let’s talk while we walk!”

Bai Jin released her grip, nodded towards Yang Yu.

Yang Yu did not wear the hard-earned Fire-Repelling Robe on himself, instead storing it in the system.

Everyone reboarded Lotcar, drawing closer to the territory of the Red Flame Monarch, while verifying if there’s a new battle site, ensuring that soldiers there coordinate with them to execute the upcoming plan.
