The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 525: Chapter 525: Did Not Agree Immediately_1

Jhovany Sullivan conveyed Mr. Jones’s intentions to her.

Essentially, the school hoped she would participate in the upcoming college entrance examination and earn a good result to bring honor to the school.

Of course, participating in the college entrance exam was one thing; they would not interfere with Nathalie Quinlan’s decision on her university applications.

That is to say, Nathalie could choose not to submit her applications, and in the end, her admission to the Chinese Medicine program at Tsinghua University would still be based on the joint exam results.

Nathalie didn’t readily agree to this.

Because Shawn Norton had also sent her a message, hoping she wouldn’t participate in this year’s college entrance examination. His reason was simple: he was afraid she would score too well, and then too many schools would be eyeing her, potentially causing her to leave.

Although she did not agree immediately, Nancy Sullivan approached the matter with equanimity and did not make it difficult for her. Before letting her leave the office, she only advised Nathalie to think it over and said nothing more.

After leaving the office.

Nathalie Quinlan headed straight for the gate of No. 1 Middle School.

Justin Wafford and Jhovany Sullivan had already received Nathalie’s message about going out for a meal and were waiting at the school gate right after class.

As soon as Nathalie appeared, everyone got excited.

”Nathalie, what are we eating?”

Dressed in a white T-shirt and wearing a black duckbill cap, Nathalie casually slipped her hand into her pocket. Lifting her eyelids, her black, bright eyes narrowed slightly with a touch of mischief as she nonchalantly said, ”Anything is fine, whatever you guys feel like eating.”

Money-wise, she had a bit.

Just a meal.

She could more than afford a splurge!

Upon hearing her say that, Justin Wafford touched his nose and, with an undecided expression, asked the others, ”Nathalie’s treating, where should we go eat?”

”Let’s just find a place...” Jhovany Sullivan, seeing there were so many people, didn’t want Nathalie to spend too much and hesitantly spoke up.

The other students from Class A felt the same way.

But with so many dining options near the school, finding ”just a place” meant they still had to choose one.

Luckily, Clerent Miller and her friends often ate near school and were quite familiar with the food street opposite it. Seeing that everyone was indecisive, she stepped forward and suggested, ”I remember a new Japanese restaurant opened up across from the school last month. It has a nice atmosphere, and the prices are reasonable. How about we go there?”

Jhovany Sullivan and a few others had seen the place when passing by on their way to school. Indeed, it looked bright from the outside, the interior decoration seemed nice, and since it had just opened recently, there were often discounts offered at the entrance.

”Then let’s go to the restaurant Clerent Miller mentioned.”

Jhovany Sullivan turned to the others, ”What does everyone else think? Speak up quickly if you have any other ideas; if not, we’ll settle on that one, okay?”

The students from Class A just wanted to have a meal with Nathalie and didn’t really care where.

After a quick discussion, they decided to go to the place Clerent Miller mentioned.

”Nathalie, we’ll have Japanese food then. How about you? If you have a preference, we can go with what you want to eat,” Jhovany Sullivan, after asking everyone else, made sure to seek Nathalie’s opinion as well.

”I’m not fussy.”

If they had no preference, Nathalie was even less concerned.

She stood there lazily, pressing down the brim of her cap, and said, ”Since it’s decided, let’s go. I don’t know the way, so you’ll have to lead.”

”I know where it is! I’ll lead the way.”

Clerent Miller volunteered to take charge of directing, leading the whole group grandly across to the food street opposite No. 1 Middle School.

At that moment, the chosen Japanese restaurant was lively.

The teachers from Class B hadn’t held the students back, so they got out early. Led by Olivia Barness and Sylvia Cadwell, a group took over the largest table in the place, ordering a generous amount of dishes with the owner’s help.

The group gathered around the table, with Ghania Quinlan seated at the very center, encircled like the moon surrounded by stars.
