The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 493: Chapter 493: And You Want to Cancel Nathalie’s School Registration_1

Jecksen Wilmar was still lying unconscious in his hospital bed when the City Hospital doctors had already produced the medical report.

It was true that Jecksen had broken three ribs, and he had multiple soft tissue contusions all over his body. As for his face, there was no need to even discuss it; Nathalie had targeted his face, and it had swollen up like a pig’s head—his own mother would hardly recognize him.

Yet it was quite miraculous.

Jecksen had been beaten to such an extent that by all accounts, he should have been classified with some rank of disability. But after all the necessary tests had been done—a CT scan, brain films, electrocardiograms, they’d run the whole gamut—the results indicated that his injuries were minor!

Nathalie seemed to know exactly where to hit someone to avoid the areas where injuries might be classified as disabling according to the assessment.

Looking at Jecksen’s condition, anyone with eyes could tell that he would have to lie in bed for at least ten to fifteen days before he could get up, not to mention the broken ribs, which would take three months to heal.

But according to the assessment, it was just a minor injury, not even moderate! Can you believe it?

It was only when Simon Cadwell received these results that he was finally able to take a sigh of relief, and he had the confidence to stand up to Juan Wilmar.

”What do you mean by that?”

”According to your statement, she put Jecksen in the hospital, and she’s not wrong?” Juan Wilmar scoffed coldly, his face full of anger as he looked at him, ”Heh, what a joke!”

Simon Cadwell’s expression remained calm as he stood before him. His demeanor was very respectful, but his words were incredibly firm.

”Mr. Wilmar, you might not be fully aware of this situation, but a minor injury like this typically doesn’t constitute a criminal case, at most it’s a civil lawsuit. Nathalie should bear Mr. Wilmar’s medical expenses and a certain amount of compensation for mental anguish. As for everything else, that’s open for discussion. Moreover, we’re still investigating this incident and haven’t clarified the reason for the fight between both parties yet...”

Nathalie’s actions were categorized as ’intentional assault’ by Juan Wilmar, but in Simon’s mouth, it turned into a ’brawl between both parties.’

It may look like only a few words differed, but these actually had a profound impact on the nature and classification of the whole incident.

If one were to follow Juan Wilmar’s description, Nathalie was certain to end up in jail.

But according to Simon’s statement, whether Nathalie would end up compensating him or not was still uncertain.

A fight.

You’re a grown man who got beaten up by a high school girl, and you didn’t even fight back. Are you not embarrassed? Is it even proper to ask her for compensation? You should be lucky not to slink away with your tail between your legs, considering yourself fortunate.

Juan Wilmar didn’t expect Simon to have the audacity to confront him directly, protecting the girl who had attacked someone. He squinted as he locked eyes with Simon for a few seconds before leaning back in his chair, his gaze sharp as he stared at the ’obtuse’ Simon Cadwell.

”Alright, you can claim she just beat someone up, and that’s not against the law, but you can’t deny that she did fight, which is public provocation and troublemaking—having a bad influence. According to the school’s regulations, for a student like this, the school has the authority to expel her. You can continue your investigation, I can wait, but I won’t allow a student with such poor conduct to continue her Education! I am going to revoke her school registration. If a person can’t even learn to behave properly, any education they receive would only be a scourge on society. Instead of wasting educational resources on her, it’s better to allocate those resources to students who truly need them!”

Having one’s school registration revoked is no small matter; a student who has been expelled cannot take the college entrance examination or be admitted to a university, which essentially ruins the student’s future prospects.

Nathalie Quinlan was in her senior year of high school, just at the time for college entrance exams. Being expelled at this point would be a serious issue.

Simon Cadwell became anxious and raised his voice, ”Mr. Wilmar, making a big issue out of this benefits no one, and you’ll regret taking this action.”
