The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 37: Chapter 37: Two Tycoons Compete by Splashing Cash_1

Meanwhile, in box B01.

Silvania Ingram closely followed the bidding below, asking Nathalie Quinlan, ”Someone has raised the bid to 4 million, should we follow?”

Nathalie Quinlan stood at the edge of the platform, eyes narrowed at the precious medicinal material displayed below, ”Follow! I am determined to get this!”

Silvania Ingram nodded, her gaze instantly became resolute as she walked to the balcony and picked up the bidding sign.

”B01, 4.3 million.”

Below, there were people specifically watching the bidding from each box.

”C09, 4.4 million.”

”B02, 5 million.”

”F08, 5.1 million.”

Nathalie Quinlan played with her phone in one hand, her attention on the auction below, her gaze casual and indifferent, that porcelain white face partially wild and partly nonchalant.

Silvania Ingram followed for 7 or 8 rounds, and gradually fewer people joined the bidding, only their next-door neighbors consistently matched the bids, each time escalating the price by a notch!

”B02, 7 million.”

Richardo Fisher bid over a dozen rounds, and seeing the price rapidly approaching 10 million, a fine layer of sweat appeared on his forehead.

Just a legendary traditional Chinese medicine, it was uncertain whether it possessed the miraculous effects as told, was it worth spending so much money?

But Amadeus Yancey didn’t speak, so he resigned himself to raise his bid again and again.

”B01, 7.3 million.”

”B02, 7.8 million.”

”B01, 8 million.”

The staff responsible for calling out bids didn’t stop shouting, from many people bidding at the start to later on, it gradually became a competition between boxes B01 and B02, with people from other boxes simply watching the excitement.

”Who are in B01 and B02 anyway, it’s just a piece of Flesh Ganoderma, is it worth it?”

”Tsk, it’s gone up to 8 million.”

In box B02, Richardo Fisher’s handsome face turned pale, sweat beading on his forehead that he couldn’t wipe away fast enough; his eyebrows were tightly knitted, and his starry eyes looked at the man inside the box as he paced anxiously around the room.

”Amadeus, 8 million, do we still follow?”

Amadeus Yancey didn’t respond, his lips sealed in a tight line.

He didn’t anticipate someone would compete with him all the way to the present.

By his side, Richardo Fisher tried to persuade him, ”I know you want to buy this for Edric, to see if it can cure his illness. But honestly, no one knows if it actually works. With the advanced medical technology we have, there’s always hope that Edric’s condition will be cured one day. It’s not worth spending this unjustified amount.”

Amadeus Yancey’s jawline tensed with intensity, tossing his nicotine inhaler onto the table beside him, he tilted his head up and commanded Alfred Garland, ”Find out who is in the neighboring box.”

”Yes, Mr. Amadeus.”

Alfred Garland hurriedly left the room.

”Amadeus, you...” Richardo Fisher stopped himself before he could finish.

Amadeus Yancey narrowed his eyes, both bloodthirsty and dignified, ”Follow another round.”

With no other choice, Richardo Fisher raised the bidding sign.

”B02, 8.9 million!”

...

While Nathalie Quinlan was playing with her phone in the box, she received a message from Lowie Wilmar.

[Lowie Wilmar: Nathalie, you’ve angered the devil. It looks like they’re determined to keep up with you to the end, 8.9 million now, tsk~ You’re going bankrupt!]

Silvania Ingram didn’t expect it to be this troublesome, she turned around to negotiate with Nathalie Quinlan, ”They’ve bid 8.9 million, if we continue, they might still follow. What do we do?”

Nathalie Quinlan’s eyes were fiercely wild as she looked up, ”Then let’s go straight to 10 million, let them keep following if they want to!”

She had some money, 10 million wouldn’t cause her bankruptcy.

She wanted to see just how far the ones next door would go!
