The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 34: Chapter 34: Never took her seriously_1

She flipped through several pages, and many people in the replies expressed disbelief. On the fourth page, there was also the original poster’s latest response.

[Post 98: The new transfer student really scored full marks. I went to the office and saw the transfer student’s grades while getting class information from the teacher. The headteacher and several teachers on-site were all stunned by the score. The teachers were all vying for the person. PS: The new transfer student is also incredibly beautiful!!!]

Jane Bailey flipped through several pages until she read the last reply, then, speechless, she held her phone and asked Ghania Quinlan.

”Ghania, did your sister also come to report to school today?”

Ghania Quinlan had long cast Nathalie Quinlan to the back of her mind, only thinking about herself securing a recommendation to the National Artists University and making a splash. She couldn’t wait to get to her class and asked absently, ”Seems like it, what about it?”

Jane Bailey said, ”Didn’t you mention that your sister’s grades were poor? There’s a post in the school forum saying that the transfer student scored full marks on a placement test, it couldn’t be her, could it?”

Ghania Quinlan abruptly stopped and turned around, her expression uncontrollable as she snatched her phone: ”Let me see that.”

Seeing how Ghania’s face grew uglier the more she read, Jane said sheepishly, ”It probably isn’t her; her academic performance has always been poor. If it were her, she would have been admitted to No. 1 Middle School from the start, there would have been no need for her to transfer. Maybe the school has recruited some academic mastermind from elsewhere...”

Ghania Quinlan’s face turned a pale shade of purple, her fingers gripping the phone tightly as if she wished she could crush Jane Bailey’s phone.

Watching her, Jane Bailey felt a pang of distress but didn’t dare to ask for her phone back.

Just then, someone walked toward them.

The person was wearing a hoodie, hemmed just above the thigh, presumably with shorts underneath, revealing two legs that were fine and fair. Her face was much prettier than Ghania’s, delicate and surrounded by an air of wild grace and beauty.

”Nathalie Quinlan,” Jane Bailey quickly tugged at Ghania Quinlan’s hand.

Of course, Ghania Quinlan saw Nathalie Quinlan approaching them. She forced a smile and called out to the person walking towards them, ”Sis.”

Nathalie Quinlan didn’t even glance at the two blocking the hallway and simply said, ”Excuse me!”

Ghania Quinlan’s face turned purple in an instant, and she stepped aside, watching helplessly as that arrogant figure entered the classroom next to Class B—Class A!

Jane Bailey stared, mouth agape, muttering to herself, ”The person mentioned in the forum is actually Nathalie Quinlan... How could she be so good at academics...”

”...”

Ghania Quinlan felt irritated and didn’t feel like responding.

That’s right, she remembered that back in primary school Nathalie Quinlan’s grades were also very good, always first in the grade. It was only after middle school that her grades became average, but every time at the end of the term when she asked Nathalie to predict test questions for her, she was spot on...

...

In Class A, everyone was discussing the arrival of a new student, a rare occurrence that even had the studious students gather around, chirping excitedly.

That lasted until Nathalie Quinlan pushed the door open and walked in.

The boys in the class were stirred up, their eyes unable to look away.

Damn, the new kid is so pretty, even outshining Ghania from Class B!

The girls were also curious and looked over at Nathalie Quinlan.

After Nathalie Quinlan scanned for a seat, Jhovany Sullivan, the class representative, saw her and stood up, waving at her, ”New student, you can sit by the seat next to me; there’s no one there.”

Nathalie Quinlan carried her bag over, placed it on the desk next to Jhovany Sullivan, pulled out the chair, and sat down.

”Hi, I’m Jhovany Sullivan.”

A hand appeared in front of Nathalie Quinlan, chubby and pale, with neatly trimmed nails, round and cute. Paired with a round face and dimples that formed with a smile, radiating an indescribable innocence and cuteness, she looked up at her with eyes full of admiration.

”You’re Nathalie Quinlan, right? I saw your post in the school forum; you are amazing.”
