Chapter 340: Chapter 129: The Plan in Progress, The Psychic’s Companion

Chen Ming asked himself three questions, but he always had the answers in his heart.

Right now, what he wants to do is very simple: he wants to leave the Dusk Star Realm and then take revenge on those responsible for his current situation.

The existence of Brilliant has already assured him that he can leave at any time; the only thing left is revenge.

The Fourteenth Legion.

The head of the Original Star Zone Military.

And those who directed the Star Zone Military in the Battle Zone, as Old Wu told him.

Additionally, there’s the Psychic who once blocked the boss’s rescue, the one the boss mentioned.

These, all of them, are his targets.

Of course, Chen Ming knows that he might not have the capability to accomplish these tasks right now, so he is prepared to be patient.

He survived a month on Rimu Star, endured six months of lonely drifting in space, so developing for a few years doesn’t seem like a big deal to him.

But because of this, he can’t just consider what he should do now; survival in the future is also a matter he has to consider and urgently needs to.

And this ties into his long-standing purpose.

Chen Ming’s long-term goals have always changed due to the evolution of the situation or the achievement of his objectives.

As he grows, his goals become bigger, more difficult to achieve, one after another.

However, his current goal hasn’t changed for some time now.

He wants to develop himself, to showcase more of his value.

More precisely speaking, Chen Ming wants to become stronger, both in Spiritual Energy and in mastering technology.

That’s why Chen Ming has always been learning technology and training his Spiritual Energy.

This is a long-term goal that he will keep pursuing, and he will never stop.

Since Chen Ming plans to target the Fourteenth Legion, he definitely can’t remain within the Empire, so his only option is to fulfill his purpose outside the Human Empire.

Thus, whether for the future or for his always-present goal.

Seeking survival in other Star Systems has become something he must do.

And seeking survival, the first priority is naturally to stay alive.

Chen Ming needs basic resources to continue surviving after leaving the Human World.

Food, water, necessities, spaceship fuel.

These things sound commonplace; they are simple to get.

But once you leave the Human World, these industrial and modern products become extremely difficult to obtain.

Therefore, at this moment, solving these problems, a colony capable of producing these basic resources is crucial; it’s something he has to construct.

This is definitely unavoidable.

Without the support of a colony and modern industrial technology, Chen Ming’s departure would clearly lead to a dire outcome.

Under the dual target of Dusk and humanity in the future, Chen Ming’s spaceship fuel would be depleted within a few days.

In the freezing space, heat would follow closely in depletion.

If a habitable planet is not found before this, Chen Ming might not even last until the spaceship’s food and water are depleted.

Of course, this is an extreme case.

Chen Ming is already considering solutions for supplementing fuel with Spiritual Energy during spaceship repair.

Moreover, he previously found a habitable planet through Refraction, so even if no basic resource supplements are obtained, he could resort to another survival in the wilderness.

Furthermore, as long as he doesn’t expose himself, he can still acquire some supplies through the Pirate Space Station.

Of course, extreme situations remain extreme; if Chen Ming doesn’t find ways to resolve them, their occurrence is only a matter of time.

It’s merely a matter of extreme cases arriving quickly and other situations arriving slowly, which gives him time to prepare.

Chen Ming previously discussed the colony matter with the boss and knows the basic requirements for colony construction.

People, resources, and technology.

The most challenging thing to get is people, which Chen Ming already has.

Individual Dusk members are no different from humans.

In some cases, they might even be more useful than humans.

Using Dusk he controls, rather than relying on manpower from the boss, to start a colony construction, is certainly preferable for Chen Ming.

Then comes the resources supporting early colony construction and those maintaining colony operations.

Chen Ming himself has a reserve for the latter.

A while back, the boss had his colony’s supply fleet raided by pirates, leading him to ask Chen Ming, who happened to be dealing with the pirates, to change his target and capture the pirates.

And the supply resources the pirates robbed were also confiscated by Chen Ming.

Originally, he intended to return the resources to the boss, but the boss refused, saying the colony already received a new batch of supplies and didn’t need this one.

So he gave these resources to Chen Ming to handle himself.

Initially, Chen Ming planned to sell them, but there was nobody to buy them at that time, making it hard to sell.

Besides, Chen Ming thought they might be useful to keep, so he left them at the Pirate Space Station.

Now, unexpectedly, they actually became useful.

Apart from the supplies for the workers on the colony, the remaining ones can fully support the early development of the colony.

As for the startup resources for the colony, Chen Ming will later have Gamma Z arrange to have Dusk individuals from various departments to start collecting.
