After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2050: Chapter 2054: L&L

Watching through the door gap as she ate, Leng Zimo simply smiled fondly, turned around to walk back into the dining room, and served the remaining wontons from the pot, bringing them to her table.

Luo Xiaoqian was enjoying her meal and waved her hand when she saw him walk out carrying the tray.

”No need, this is enough. You eat the rest...” she said in Chinese, pointing to the empty seat beside her, ”Sit down, let’s eat together.”

Leng Zimo followed her lead, sat beside her, and they ate breakfast together, but his mind was occupied with what Luo Ke had said earlier.

Luo Ke would not return until noon, perhaps today was his opportunity.

But, how should he speak to persuade Luo Xiaoqian to leave with him?

”What was the name of your restaurant?” Luo Xiaoqian asked curiously, ”I don’t know why, but I feel so familiar with this taste, as if I’ve had it many times before.”

”Sorry madam, I don’t understand what you are saying.” Leng Zimo said apologetically in Italian, looking at her sideways.

With two maids present and guards outside the door, he couldn’t communicate with her yet.

”You... don’t understand what I’m saying?” Luo Xiaoqian asked confusedly.

Yesterday he clearly said he could understand Chinese, how come he couldn’t understand today?

Perhaps it’s too complicated and he can only understand simple things.

”Madam, he says he doesn’t understand.” The maid quickly explained in English to Luo Xiaoqian, then she conveyed Luo Xiaoqian’s question to Leng Zimo, ”Madam asked about the name of the restaurant where you previously worked.”

Leng Zimo smiled and then used the spoon to scoop a little soup, slowly writing a few letters on the napkin—L&L!

Seeing the letters he wrote, Luo Xiaoqian asked curiously, ”Why is it named like this?”

Leng Zimo smiled with a hint of amusement, ”This name was chosen by my wife. Both our names start with the letter L, and it also stands for Love & Liability, love and responsibility.”

Actually, this was Luo Xiaoqian’s company’s name, and this is exactly why Luo Xiaoqian chose this foreign name, not only for their name initials but also representing love and responsibility.

Looking at the elegant letters on the napkin, a flash of light appeared in Luo Xiaoqian’s vision, and countless sounds echoed around her, blending together so she couldn’t hear clearly.

Her head hurt dully, and Luo Xiaoqian raised her hand to hold her temple.

”Xiao... Sissi?!” Leng Zimo worriedly stood up, wanting to reach out to support her but held back, ”Are you okay?”

”Madam?!” The two maids also came over with concern, holding her arm, ”How are you?”

Luo Xiaoqian waved them off, ”I’m fine, just have a bit of a headache, maybe I didn’t sleep well.”

Headache?!

Could it be that she, like he once did, gets a headache from emotional stimulus?

Leng Zimo felt both happy and heartbroken; if this was the case, it showed that such stimulus affected her. But if each stimulus caused her such pain, he found it hard to bear.

”Would you like me to help you upstairs to rest for a while?” the maid asked considerately.

Luo Xiaoqian stood up from the chair, ”I want to go out for a walk.”

Being cooped up in the room daily had long worn her out, and now she was unwilling to return to the room.

”I’ll accompany her. You tidy up the room.” Leng Zimo volunteered.
