After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2040: Chapter 2044: Honeymoon Together

Rome Airport.

Under the protection of Xiao Jie and others, Xu Xia and Luo Jun smoothly got into the car Ah Jiu arranged for her pick-up.

Because Leng Zimo had spoken with her beforehand, Luo Jun was particularly obedient and well-behaved throughout the journey.

”Since the hotel was already booked in advance, we didn’t change it for you.” Ah Jiu, holding the little guy, spoke to Xu Xia in a very polite tone, ”Young Master is entrusted to us to take care of, you can focus on your work without worry. Xiao Jie and the others will be fully responsible for your safety concerns.”

”Alright, thank you for your hard work, then.”

Xu Xia also knew that this must be Leng Zimo’s arrangement. Considering the current situation, she did not refuse Ah Jiu’s kind offer.

”Uncle Ah Jiu, can my godmother and I still go to the Wishing Well?”

Luo Jun asked in Ah Jiu’s arms, his tone inquisitive.

He had promised Leng Zimo before not to cause trouble and not to run around randomly. The little guy kept it in mind.

”He wants to make a wish for his mom and dad.” Xu Xia explained softly.

Ah Jiu looked at the little guy in his arms, full of anticipation, thought for a moment, and then nodded, ”Of course you can. Uncle Ah Jiu and Uncle Xiao Jie will go with you, okay?”

If it were other children, they probably would have already made a fuss about going. It’s indeed rare for such a young child to control himself, and Ah Jiu couldn’t bear to refuse him.

”Okay!” The little guy immediately beamed.

”But first, we need to go to the hotel and put Miss Xu’s luggage down before going.” Ah Jiu said with a smile.

”Okay!” Luo Jun just nodded, ”No problem.”

The convoy moved forward, reaching the hotel in Roma City that the company had pre-booked. After a brief rest, Ah Jiu took Xu Xia and Luo Jun and left the hotel, heading to the Wishing Well.

Considering work convenience, the company intentionally booked Xu Xia in the hotel in the city center because it’s close to several sightseeing spots, making filming convenient.

After turning two streets, they arrived at Rome’s old district. Since vehicles couldn’t go in, everyone got out of the car and headed to the Wishing Well.

It was Xu Xia’s first time in Rome. Naturally, upon arriving at such a holy place, she was excited, admiring the ancient architecture of this holy city with wonder.

Soon, the group reached the vicinity of the Wishing Well.

Ah Jiu prepared a coin and handed it to Luo Jun.

”This is the Wishing Well. Just make a wish and toss the coin in.”

The little guy, taking the coin, clasped his hands devoutly before his chest, closed his eyes, and made a solemn wish before tossing the coin into the Wishing Well.

Standing not far, Xu Xia also took a coin from her pocket and turned around to toss it into the well.

”Godmother, why did you throw three coins?” Luo Jun asked curiously.

”Because I heard there’s a legend here. If you throw three coins, the first one means finding your lover, the second means mutual true love, and the third means the two will successfully marry and return to Rome together.” Xu Xia bent down, smiling as she explained.

”Oh!” The little guy nodded, half-understanding like, ”Godmother, you want to marry Uncle Zirui and then come to Rome for your honeymoon, right?”

Xu Xia chuckled lightly, ”Yes, our Mo Mo is the smartest.”

However, that might be quite difficult, right?

Leng Zirui is not an ordinary person; going abroad isn’t something that can be done casually. Coming here for a honeymoon with him might just be a beautiful wish.
