After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2031: Chapter 2035: You’re Jealous

Is Luo Ke deceiving her?!

So, those photos are fake too?!

Then, what about the other things he said, like marrying her, their romantic relationship... are they fake too?!

While Luo Xiaoqian was quietly thinking, Leng Zimo already walked out of the kitchen again, bringing a small bowl of hot porridge and placing it in front of her, then raised his hand in a gesture inviting her to eat.

”Thank you!”

Luo Xiaoqian snapped out of her thoughts and smiled gratefully at him.

Leng Zimo didn’t speak, just raised his hand to signal her to eat.

”Okay.” Although he was just a stranger, his thoughtfulness secretly made her somewhat grateful. She hadn’t had such satisfying meals for days and hadn’t really been full, so she immediately picked up the bowl to continue eating. After taking a sip of porridge, she turned her face to look at Leng Zimo who was standing nearby.

”You’re Italian, why do you like Chinese cuisine?”

Seeing Luo Xiaoqian’s rare appetite, Luo Ke’s mood was good as well. He took the initiative to take on the duty of translating for her.

”My mother studied in China and said Chinese food is very tasty, so I went to China to learn cooking...” Leng Zimo shrugged, ”But I can only cook; I’m not gifted in languages. I haven’t learned Chinese during those years in China.”

Listening to Luo Ke’s translation, Luo Xiaoqian’s eyes were only focused on Leng Zimo, watching him talk while standing and bending over, she stood up apologetically, ”Sorry... Please, please have a seat.”

Worried that Leng Zimo wouldn’t understand her intent, Luo Xiaoqian proactively pulled out a chair beside her, reaching out her hand towards Leng Zimo’s arm, wanting to invite him to sit.

”Sissi!” Luo Ke raised his eyebrow slightly, ”He’s just a chef, not our guest.”

Being so intimate with a stranger, a chef, made him quite jealous; he couldn’t possibly allow Leng Zimo to sit beside her.

Luo Xiaoqian’s finger, stretched towards Leng Zimo, froze in mid-air, ”I...”

”Go back to your seat.” Luo Ke turned to Leng Zimo, switching to Italian, ”You... back to the kitchen!”

Leng Zimo nodded, turned to nod goodbye to Luo Xiaoqian, and walked back to the kitchen.

Watching Leng Zimo’s silhouette disappear, Luo Xiaoqian zoned out again.

As he walked away, fragmented images suddenly flashed before her eyes...

”Sissi?!” Luo Ke noticed she was in a daze, ”Continue eating, okay?”

Luo Xiaoqian returned to her senses, looked at Luo Ke’s face, and slightly frowned.

She just wanted to chat a little more with the chef, what was his attitude about?

”I’m full!”

Standing up, Luo Xiaoqian turned and headed towards the stairs.

”Sissi!” Luo Ke stood up, wanting to chase after her.

”No, no, no, Luo Ke, you can’t act like this!” Leng Zirui reached out to stop him, pulling him back to the chair, ”You have absolutely no idea how you looked just now. Like a tyrannical emperor, women need to be coaxed, understand?”

”Enough!” Luo Ke shrugged his arm away, ”Get rid of that cook.”

”Are you crazy?” Leng Zirui frowned, ”He’s the only one right now who can get Sissi to eat!”

”No big deal, just find another chef.” Luo Ke said coldly.

He hated seeing Luo Xiaoqian talking with Leng Zimo, a stranger. How could she smile at him?

”Ha...” Leng Zirui burst into laughter, ”Oh, Luo Ke, you’re jealous, you’re actually jealous of a chef, ha...”
