After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2018: Chapter 2022: This Kiss

Upon hearing Leng Zimo’s inquiry, Xu Xia immediately replied, ”Xiao Jie and the others boarded the plane last night and should be arriving in Milan very soon.”

”Good.” Hearing that Xiao Jie and the others would be arriving soon, Leng Zimo felt slightly relieved, ”Once Xiao Jie and the others arrive, have them escort you and Mo Mo to Rome, then I’ll have Ah Jiu contact you, he’ll tell you the specifics, now pass the phone to Mo Mo, I want to say a couple of words to him.”

Leng Zimo was very aware of his own son’s temperament. He knew that although the child was still young, Luo Xiaoqian had been fostering the little one’s independence since childhood, making him much more sensible than average children.

Due to past incidents, misunderstandings had already occurred, and because he worried that Mo Mo and Luo Xiaoqian might sneak onto a plane, Leng Zimo genuinely hoped not to have similar incidents happen again.

After all, no matter how sensible, he was still just a child.

”Mo Mo, your dad wants to talk to you.” Xu Xia handed the phone back to Luo Jun.

Luo Jun took the phone and brought it to his ear, ”Daddy.”

Hearing his son’s voice through the receiver, Leng Zimo took a deep breath and seriously began, ”Daddy has to find a way to bring Mommy back now, so I won’t be able to personally meet you when you arrive in Rome. You must listen to your godmother and stop running around on your own. If you get into trouble again, it’ll be very difficult for Daddy. After you arrive in Rome, listen carefully to Uncle Ah Jiu, since neither Daddy nor Mommy can be with you now, you need to act like a real man, take responsibility, take good care of yourself, and don’t cause trouble for the adults. Daddy believes you can do it, right?”

This child is stubborn and independent, so if one were to use a parent’s authority to pressure him, he might rebel. Consequently, Leng Zimo chose to treat him as an adult, encouraging him to be self-disciplined.

The little guy wore a serious expression, ”Yes, Mo Mo can.”

”Excellent.” Leng Zimo was not stingy with his praise, ”I’m proud to have a son like you, and I believe your mom is too.”

”Daddy, remember to take care of yourself, otherwise I’ll worry about you a lot.” The little guy earnestly remarked.

”Alright.” The usually strong and calm man, hearing this childish yet solemn reminder, felt a wave of tenderness, ”Daddy will also take good care of himself. Mo Mo, Daddy loves you, loves you very much.”

”I love you too, Daddy.”

”So... Daddy must end the call now...”

”Wait a moment...” the little guy suddenly exclaimed, and then gave the phone a loud kiss, ”Give this kiss to Mommy for me, tell her Mo Mo will obediently wait for her to return.”

”Alright, Daddy will surely deliver it, goodbye.”

”Not goodbye, it’s ’until we meet again’.” The little guy stated solemnly.

”Right, until we meet again!” Leng Zimo replied, then hung up the phone, handed it to Ah Jiu beside him, took a breath, ”Ah Jiu, Ah Sang, come with me upstairs, I need to discuss something very important.”

The two followed him upstairs, and Leng Zimo relayed the entire situation to them.

”I’ve already confirmed Qian’s location, but because she’s lost her memory and doesn’t recognize me, for now, I cannot take her off the island. There are two things I need you to do.”

Ah Jiu and Ah Sang were extremely shocked to hear about Luo Xiaoqian’s memory loss, but seeing Leng Zimo remain calm, they did their best to keep composed and refrained from asking questions.
