After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2034: Chapter 2038: An Extra Dinner

Luo Ke laughed, ”Among all the people around me, my favorites are you and Roselia. Now that Roselia is dead, I hope you can live forever.”

His last sentence had a double meaning.

One was the surface meaning, and the other was a hint to ROY about the consequences of betraying him.

Leng Zirui caught his implication, but just pretended not to, and laughed loudly, ”Of course, so many lovely girls are waiting for me, how could I bear to die?”

”Then, I’ll leave the matter of Lei Wenting to you.” Luo Ke said.

”No problem.” Leng Zirui’s voice turned cold, ”Just recently I’ve been in a bad mood, it’ll be good to play with him for a bit. Speaking of which, his goddaughter looks quite nice...” he licked his lips with the tip of his tongue, ”I can’t wait.”

Luo Ke smiled ambiguously, ”The weather’s nice today, I’ll have them send you back by plane.”

”Can I go see Sissi?” Leng Zirui asked deliberately.

”NO!” Luo Ke’s attitude was firm.

”You know, I was just joking.” Leng Zirui laughed out loud, waved his hand at him, and lazily walked out of the study.

...

...

In the kitchen.

When Leng Zimo helped the two cooks get dinner ready, the bodyguards had already returned to eat, though it was just some of them. To ensure the island’s safety, they worked in shifts, ten people at a time.

From the cooks, people knew that Leng Zimo was the new head chef, so they didn’t find it too strange. Everyone knew about Luo Ke’s affection for Luo Xiaoqian, so hiring a chef for her was quite normal.

Leng Zimo ate with the others, and after the meal, the bodyguards left one after another. A cook handed a dinner to one of the bodyguards, who took it and walked out of the dining room.

He has already had dinner, who is he taking that to?!

Leng Zimo wondered in his heart, pretending to take a walk, he stepped out of the villa, stretching his arms at the bottom of the stairs, watching that bodyguard carrying the dinner enter a two-story building not far from the villa.

The bodyguards already knew his identity, so they didn’t pay much attention when they saw him.

Leng Zimo walked to the seaside, letting the sea breeze blow against him, and when he returned, he saw the bodyguard had returned, but the dinner he was carrying was gone.

Could there be someone imprisoned there?!

Leng Zimo speculated secretly in his heart.

Footsteps approached, someone pushed the door open and walked out, it was Leng Zirui.

”Mr. Chef!”

Seeing Leng Zimo, Leng Zirui waved to greet him from afar.

Leng Zimo quickly ran over to him, standing in front of him.

”Do a good job, Mr. Luo Ke won’t treat you badly.” Leng Zirui patted his shoulder, and a nearby bodyguard immediately translated his words into Italian.

”When... when can I leave here?” Leng Zimo asked in Italian.

Hearing the bodyguard’s translation, Leng Zirui slightly curved his lips, ”Very soon, trust me.”

Both of them were speaking in code, but the bodyguard didn’t know.

”I’m leaving now, hope to have the chance to eat your Chinese cuisine next time.”

Leng Zirui didn’t dare to say much more to him, waved him goodbye, and walked with the bodyguard towards the helipad.

The weather’s nice today, the plane can be used safely.

Soon, the helicopter roared to life and took off, flying towards the coast.

”Do you also want to leave here?”

On the stairs, Luo Ke’s voice lightly rang out.

Leng Zimo turned his face, showing a bit of a frightened expression, ”Sir.”
