After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2006: Chapter 2010: How Much This Man Spoils Her

”Let’s go, let’s have breakfast. I know you like Chinese cuisine, so I specially found a Chinese chef. Try it and see if it suits your taste.” Luo Ke smiled as he helped her up from the sofa, noticing her sharp chin, his eyes filled with deep concern, ”You’ve lost a lot of weight these days!”

Luo Ke said she was thin, and that man also said she was thin.

”Was I very fat before?” Luo Xiaoqian asked.

Luo Ke chuckled softly, ”Of course not, it’s just that you’ve lost a bit of weight these few days, but even a little doesn’t diminish your beauty. In my heart, you will always be my most beautiful princess. Let’s go!”

The two of them went downstairs together, and as they passed the second floor, Luo Xiaoqian remembered the note and instinctively glanced toward the corridor.

Luo Ke noticed her expression, raised his eyebrows, but didn’t ask much.

They arrived in the dining room, where the Chinese breakfast was laid out on the table.

This wasn’t just a breakfast table; it looked like a buffet of Chinese breakfast.

Buns, flower rolls, steamed bread, fried sticks, Chinese pastries... a variety of exquisite small cold dishes, not to mention the main dishes, even the congee had several kinds, almost filling the long dining table.

”What would you like to eat?” Luo Ke stopped at the dining table and asked warmly.

”This...” Luo Xiaoqian looked at the table full of delicious food, feeling deeply moved, ”This... so much, how can I finish it all?”

Just for one breakfast, so much was prepared, it was enough to show how much this man cherished her.

”Eat whatever you like, throw away what you don’t like.” Luo Ke helped her pull out her chair, ”Because you are my princess, I must give you everything.”

Luo Ke sat down in the chair opposite her, while the maid hurried to Luo Xiaoqian’s side to ask what she wanted to eat.

Facing such a large table, Luo Xiaoqian was also dazzled by the choices.

”No need to rush, take your time to choose.”

At the other end of the table, Luo Ke’s tone was full of affection.

He could see her being moved, after seeing the photo, she hadn’t refused him holding her hand.

In Luo Ke’s view, this was a significant step forward.

He believed that soon, his princess would be completely won over.

Luo Xiaoqian’s personality was such that she feared owing favors to others. The more courteous Luo Ke was, the more uneasy she felt about it. Noticing a bowl of wonton closest to her, she immediately said, ”I’ll have this.”

The maid dared not delay and quickly brought the bowl of wonton over, placing it in front of her, then served another similar portion to Luo Ke.

Luo Ke picked up his spoon and smiled across the table at Luo Xiaoqian, ”Remember to eat more!”

”Sure.”

Luo Xiaoqian returned his smile, picking up the beautiful Blue and White Porcelain spoon.

In the Blue and White Porcelain bowl, the clear soup held beautifully wrapped little wontons, garnished with finely chopped scallions and two sprigs of lovely cilantro, the white and green complementing each other, pleasing to the eye.

She ladled a spoonful of soup, brought it to her mouth, blew on it gently, and tasted a small sip.

The chef was hired at great expense, and he put in a lot of effort for this breakfast.

The soup was boiled with chicken broth, extremely fresh and fragrant, the taste indeed very good.

However, after the first sip, Luo Xiaoqian’s discerning palate still picked up a hint of an unpleasant taste.

It was—cilantro flavor.

Like Leng Zimo, Luo Xiaoqian never liked vegetables with strange tastes, cilantro being something she absolutely disliked.
