After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 530: Chapter 534 Thank You and Sorry [4]

Leng Zimo was silent for a while, but he finally agreed.

”Alright!”

...

...

Emperor View Group.

”Excuse me, excuse me!”

Xu Xia dashed out of the elevator like a whirlwind, click-clacking along in her high heels to the outside of Zhuo Yannan’s department, barging through the door without a knock.

Surveying the empty work hall, she looked around, then headed straight for the conference room.

Bang!

The conference room door was forcefully pushed open, hitting the wall with a loud noise.

In the meeting room, staff members, including Yu Tong and Zhuo Yannan, all turned to face the door.

”Miss Xu?” Recognizing her, Yu Tong and Zhuo Yannan stood up together, ”What are you doing here?”

Seeing Yu Tong, Xu Xia rushed over, grabbing her arm, ”Xiao Qian, she... where is she?”

”Miss Xu!” Zhuo Yannan hurriedly interjected, ”Come with me, let’s talk in my office!”

Giving Yu Tong a look, he signaled to everyone else, ”Please continue discussing the proposal; I’ll be right back.”

Yu Tong, aware of Xu Xia’s temper and worried she might spill the beans, quickly dragged her out of the conference room and into Zhuo Yannan’s office.

”Let me go!” Xu Xia shook off her arm, ”Hurry up and tell me, has Xiao Qian been found? And that bastard Leng Zimo, where does he live? Tell me right now...”

The night before last, overcome with worry for Luo Xiaoqian, Leng Zimo called everyone he could think of. As Luo Xiaoqian’s only friend, Xu Xia naturally was among them.

At that moment, Xu Xia was abroad, shooting the music video for her single. Hearing about Luo Xiaoqian’s trouble, she dropped everything, booked the earliest flight back home, and had just landed. She had called Luo Xiaoqian several times with no answer, called Leng Zimo only to find the line busy, and then received no answer.

Having no other choice and frantic with worry, Xu Xia rushed to Emperor View to find Zhuo Yannan and Yu Tong.

At the time, Leng Zimo hadn’t clarified what suddenly happened to Luo Xiaoqian. Naturally, Xu Xia assumed that he and Luo Xiaoqian had fought, so the first thing she did was to ask about Xiao Qian’s whereabouts and then about Zimo’s residence, wanting to find him and take her friend’s side.

”Miss Xu, please calm down,” said Zhuo Yannan looking at this frantic girl, his face full of helplessness, ”First of all, rest assured, President Leng has just called, Xiao Qian has been found. She’s safe now. If you wish to see her, I can have Yu Tong arrange it for you. However, we absolutely must keep this quiet. If the news gets out, it will have serious consequences for Xiao Qian.”

”Is she really okay?” Xu Xia asked.

”I can vouch for it. I was there when President Leng called,” Yu Tong said.

Only then did Xu Xia take a deep breath of relief, ”Good, I can be calm, I am very calm right now. Take me to Xiao Qian immediately; I want to ask that bastard Leng Zimo what the hell is going on. He doesn’t pick up my calls, thinking he’s some big-shot male god? Let me tell you, I don’t care who he is. If anyone dares to bully Xiao Qian, I’ll fight them to the end. If Leng Zimo dares to bully Xiao Qian, I swear I’ll take him down!”

This is what she calls ”very calm”?

Zhuo Yannan and Yu Tong exchanged glances, both somewhat amused and exasperated.

Xu Xia was indeed a good person, but this impulsiveness was really beyond salvation.
