After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 512: Chapter 515 The Whereabouts of That Person [1]

He had been staying in Houhai from yesterday afternoon until midnight.

In such heavy rain, she stayed there?!

Leng Zimo clenched his fists, ”And then?!”

”We’ve already sent people to search around Houhai, but there’s been no result yet.” An undercover detective next to him took over, ”We checked Lu Hao’s call records, and around midnight, he made two calls and received one, receiving the same number he dialed first. The two calls he made, we’ve checked, the first one has been turned off, so we couldn’t determine the location. The second showed up near the North Fourth Ring, and we’ve dispatched people to make an arrest.”

”Mr. Leng, what was the relationship between Lu Hao and Miss Luo Xiaoqian?” Xu Shichang asked.

”Lu Hao is her ex-boyfriend. Previously, in Qingdao, his mother passed away, and he called Xiao Qian, but they didn’t meet.” Leng Zimo answered.

”If that’s the case, I think it’s very likely she is related to Lu Hao’s death.” Xu Shichang said.

”Nonsense, she couldn’t kill anyone!” Leng Zimo immediately roared.

”You misunderstand, that’s not what we meant. We’re suggesting that Miss Luo’s disappearance might be linked to this incident,” Xu Shichang explained.

At that moment, the undercover detective’s phone rang. After he answered, he immediately looked at Xu Shichang, ”Chief, they’ve been caught. Those two are named Brother Chuan and Hou Er, both with prison records and habitual offenders. They were caught soliciting prostitutes, and they had two hundred thousand in cash on them.”

”It must have been them!” Leng Zimo stepped forward, grabbing the man’s arm, ”Where are these two?”

”They’re on the way back and will arrive shortly,” the detective said.

”How about this, gentlemen, please rest in my office for a while, and as soon as the suspects are brought in, I’ll personally conduct the interrogation. If there’s any outcome, I’ll notify you immediately. Does that sound acceptable?” Xu Shichang courteously asked Leng Lin.

”I want to see them the moment they arrive,” Leng Zimo interjected.

Leng Lin glanced at his son and nodded at Xu Shichang.

”Alright, then Old Leng, please rest in my office for a while. Old Zhao, please take Mr. Leng to the interrogation room to wait,” Xu Shichang commanded, respectfully ushering Leng Lin out.

The detective known as Old Zhao stepped forward and took Leng Zimo to the second-floor interrogation room.

Upon entering the interrogation room, Old Zhao courteously offered Leng Zimo a cigarette, which he did not take.

Leng Zimo and Luo Xiaoqian’s news had already become common knowledge. Old Zhao looked at the young man’s clearly dejected profile, sighed, and put the cigarette away.

The waiting time felt excruciatingly long.

Fortunately, footsteps were finally heard outside.

The door was pushed open, and several detectives escorted two men inside.

The leader, with a shaven head and ferocious tattoos, followed by a gaunt figure like a monkey, with a knife scar on his face, was none other than Brother Chuan and Hou Er, who had caught Luo Xiaoqian last night.

As soon as Leng Zimo saw the two men come in, he immediately rushed forward, pulled Brother Chuan from the hands of the two detectives, and slammed him against the wall.

”Where’s Luo Xiaoqian, where is she!”

”Hey, what are you doing?”

”Let go quickly!”

The two detectives hurried forward, trying to pull Leng Zimo away, but he was pressing down on Brother Chuan so tightly, they couldn’t pull him off.
