Chapter 1184: Chapter 512: Aurora Arrives (Part 3)

”The time is about right now. The appointment with my mother was for ten in the morning.” Teresa gently took Laine’s arm and whispered, ”I know your status has changed, but she is my mother. Now that I am yours, I hope you can respect her. My mother is always strong and sometimes her words can be sharp. I hope you don’t mind.”

”Of course, I won’t mind. I have already obtained her most precious thing, so naturally, it doesn’t bother me much.” Laine smiled as he held Teresa’s hand. His heart was filled with a multitude of emotions. The first time he met the Holy Sanctuary Grand Mage, Female Elder Jialan, Lady Aurora, he was merely a teenage Ranger Knight, holding a very low status. At that time, when Aurora spoke to him, he didn’t even dare sit down, only daring to stand while speaking to her.

Later, after he became a Kingdom Knight in his twenties, only then did Aurora truly see him. Whenever the Holy Sanctuary Grand Mage conversed with him, her high status and habitual assertiveness were still evident. Considering that Aurora had saved the life of his foster father, Norman, and often took care of his foster family, Laine still placed himself in a relatively low position during interactions.

But now, his status has changed. Laine is not only a count in his thirties, but also a Holy Sanctuary Holy Grail Knight with boundless prospects. Aurora’s daughter, Teresa, has even become Laine’s female courtier.

Everyone was waiting at the entrance of the winery, while inside the Wine Castle, behind the third-floor window, Surya, Ollica, and Veronica stood by the window, observing the outside surroundings of the winery. Surya curiously asked, ”The appointed time is near, but Lady Aurora is still nowhere in sight, has she not even entered the city?”

”Heh~ That’s that woman’s habit.” Veronica crossed her arms, disdainfully said, ”Watch and see, Lady Surya, that woman will definitely appear in a very special way, showcasing her magical level.”

”Then I very much look forward to it.” Surya maintained her calm demeanor, the female knight showing interest in the impending arrival of Aurora.

”Whoo~” At that moment, amidst the early winter snow, a sudden gust of wind blew, carrying countless snowflakes in reverse.

”The flow has changed,” whispered the Dark Elf Maid, ”She’s here.”

The words had just fallen when a sudden blizzard engulfed the entire sky. Within the Ice Magic Vortex, several hundred meters in diameter, a massive creature spread its wings, unexpectedly tearing through the sky.

”It’s a dragon! An ice dragon!” Guards within the winery immediately screamed.

The ice dragon spread its wings thirty meters wide and twenty meters long, taking a spin in the sky. It was only then the crowd could see the ice dragon pulling an entire house made of ice and snow. The house stood two stories high, following the movements of the ice dragon in the sky, until the ice dragon landed on the ground.

Laine stood calmly in place, seeming not the least surprised, merely watching with a serene expression as the ice dragon descended approximately ten meters away, the large house landed steadily within the snowstorm’s swirling air mass, its roof imprinted with a fiery red Jialan Flower.

The door opened, and a gleaming black high heel stepped out from within, revealing a proportionately slender and beautiful calf. The pointed high heel slowly came into view, a tall and elegant witch emerging from the vehicle, a royal blue knee-length skirt paired with a white fox fur coat and black satin shirt, showcasing a striking beauty amidst the snow.

Flawless flesh-colored stockings accentuated the skirt’s proportionate and slender legs, the elegance in every gesture added a fresh and noble charm to the gorgeous and sexy image. With the same black, waist-length hair and butterfly-patterned glasses, a mature beauty stood before the crowd.

”It’s been a long time, Laine, I should now address you as Your Excellency! I never thought we’d really become one family, it’s truly an honor!”

”Welcome, Lady Aurora! Welcome to Glamorgan, my domain.”

”Mother! You’ve finally arrived!”
