Chapter 1164: Chapter 504: We Are the True Way and the Truth!

Nobody knows when the news of Snake God Sotigo first appeared.

Today, all the deities worshipped by the Lizardmen are essentially Ancient Saints. The objects of their worship once came to this world, created countless races, and conducted countless experiments. This includes Sun God Potek, Guardian God Kuiji, Divine Venerable Tlanxla, etc. These deities are essentially the bodies of the Ancient Saints.

Only the Snake God Sotigo is not.

The name of Snake God Sotigo first appeared after the Chaos Invasion, when the Lizardmen had already declined due to long battles with the Chaos Demons. At this time, the Pestilence Clan of the Skaven Ratmen came to Lustria, and the Lizardmen began a long war with the Skaven Ratmen, known as the ”Forgotten War.”

Since most of the Demon Toads were busy guarding the Spirit Vein Network and maintaining the Great Guardian, the Lizardmen gradually couldn’t resist the Plague Clan’s offensive of plagues in the long war and were forced to abandon many cities.

Chakua was one of them. This city, known as the ”City of the Gods,” had already suffered severe damage during the Chaos Invasion, and as the Skaven Ratmen poured bacteria into the city, it became uninhabitable.

With the city’s destruction, the Lizardmen of the entire city fell into leaderless chaos. At this time, a strong Spirit Lizard Priest stood out, calling all the Lizardmen to unite and help their brethren through difficult times.

This priest was Teuton Hoin, the first Divine Chosen of Snake God Sotigo and the greatest Snake God Prophet.

This Spirit Lizard Priest, while rescuing the prophecy tablets in the pyramid chamber of the city, noticed a tablet detailing that Snake God Sotigo would be born to fight against the ”evil animal gods” and would ultimately swallow the Mouse God that spread destruction and plague. The Spirit Lizard Priest was overjoyed and believed in this without doubt.

Teuton Hoin’s efforts were not in vain. Wherever he preached, all Lizardmen afflicted by plagues recovered their health. Driven by hatred and worship, after the plague receded, the healed ones proclaimed this as in accordance with the prophecy of the Snake God, stating that before the world’s destruction, the ratmen must be sacrificed in blood to bring forth the god.

In Chakua, the Spirit Lizards here differ from ordinary Spirit Lizards. Most have brightly colored red crowns, possess robust physiques, and are even smarter than their brethren. Relying on unrivaled prestige and unified faith, Teuton Hoin quickly organized an army to blood sacrifice the Skaven Ratmen to birth Snake God Sotigo and save Lustria from disaster.

This is a full-scale war between Lizardmen and Ratmen.

After thousands of years of war and thousands of blood sacrifices, Teuton Hoin’s force snowballed into the current Snake God Legion. It set up a brilliant ambush at the Guimorlo Pit battle, wiping out tens of thousands of Skaven. The blood sacrifice finally succeeded, and a new deity was born. Snake God Sotigo appeared from the sky, completely defeating the Skaven Ratmen, and since then, the ratmen retreated from Lustria.

Until today! Snake God Divine Chosen, the greatest Snake God Prophet Teuton Hoin, unleashed a roar representing challenge toward the sky. In the black clouds and lightning, the Snake God Legion entered the battlefield, charging toward the Skaven Ratmen like rolling thunder!

Several Plague Monk Legions waiting to join the battlefield at the rear found themselves facing a terrible threat. The Snake God Sotigo’s legion was launching a fierce attack from behind. The Red Crowned Spirit Lizard Squad and the group of Armored Dragons equipped with the Sotigo Holy Torch pierced through the ranks of the Plague Monks, starting the war.

”Skaven Ratmen, decay, corruption, disease, and evil, destroy them! Destroy them! All of them!” Snake God Divine Chosen Teuton Hoin flicked his forked tongue, releasing his fury. This six-thousand-year-old Snake God Divine Chosen held the Snake Sword, a divine artifact gifted by Sotigo, in one hand and the slab recording Sotigo’s birth in the other, personally leading the charge of the Red Crowned Spirit Lizard Squad!

The Ratmen battle formation was thrown into chaos by this attack. The snake tide, covering the ground, swallowed the rat tide wave after wave. Teuton Hoin chanted Sotigo’s Divine Art, tearing apart every ratman bold enough to block his path. The Snake Sword in his hand drank deeply of the ratmen’s filthy blood with every strike. Harboring endless hatred and killing intent toward Skaven Ratmen, the Snake God Prophet roared the name of the Snake God amidst a storm of flesh and blood, leaving behind a field of rat corpse.

”For Sotigo! Kill!”

”For Sotigo! For Itaza! For Teuton Hoin!” The morale of the Snake God Legion soared, crushing the mighty tide of the Skaven Ratmen like a storm.

The Plague Clan attempted to retaliate with all sorts of toxic plague cannonballs and magic, but the result disappointed them.

The once always-effective deadly plagues had no effect on the warriors blessed by Snake God Sotigo. Sotigo’s power protected the Snake God Legion, and became stronger due to the bloody sacrifices, especially Teuton Hoin. The Snake God Divine Chosen was unharmed, with his magic protection impenetrable by any attack. Amid the holy storm of vengeance, the Snake God Divine Chosen shredded any Skaven Ratmen resistance.

The entire Starlight Bridge became a battlefield amalgamated with flesh and blood, with no mercy from either the Snake God Legion or the Skaven Ratmen, only deep-rooted hatred and merciless slaughter. The snake tide engulfed the rat tide, the multicolored viper carpet consumed the green and grey Skaven Ratmen army. Those Plague Monk Legions and Storm Rat Legions left by Lord Skuk began collapsing, especially upon seeing their plague fail, the ratmen started to flee.
