Chapter 1165: Chapter 504: We Are the True Dao and Truth! (Part 2)

Reaching into the chest of a Grey Prophet, pulling out its rotten shattered heart and crushing it, Teuton Hoin loudly chanted a spell, offering a sacrifice to the Snake God Sotigo amidst the scattered corpses: ”Sotigo above!”

The Snake God evidently heard Teuton Hoin’s call. High above the heavens, an immense giant serpent roiled through the clouds. Responding to Teuton Hoin’s request, a viper storm several kilometers in diameter completely engulfed all the Skaven Ratmen on the Starlight Bridge. Within the bloody light and shadow, the rain from the viper storm dispelled the plague, sending the Ratman Legion into a panicked retreat. The battle quickly turned into a full-scale rout, as the demoralized rodents fled for their lives.

At this moment, the Skaven Ratmen’s low morale and tendency to collapse finally became apparent. Thousands of Ratman troops successively crumbled and fell prey to the slaughter by the Snake God Legion. The once seemingly formidable and numerous Plague Clan’s army disintegrated like an avalanche, becoming nothing more than a rabble, with no Ratman having the courage to regroup and face the Snake God Legion once again.

The massive collapse behind the Ratman horde quickly affected the battle on the Great Pyramid. When the Plague Clan’s Lord Skurk turned to look back, it could hardly believe that its rear had already been defeated disastrously.

Kuga and Mazda Moody were both leading their remaining forces to aid them!

There was no time to regroup the army! Lord Skurk immediately realized that if it turned back to reorganize its troops, it would forever lose the chance to kill Crok completely!

”Advance! For the Great Horned Rat!” Fortunately, Crok’s body was already within reach. Lord Skurk released a sharp rat screech, ordering all the Ratmen to intercept Kuga and Mazda Moody’s reinforcements. Leading the last elite unit himself, the Plague Guard and Decayed Choir gathered around him, readying for a final desperate gamble!

Forbidden spells were being chanted. Skurk was already making a last stand. At great cost, a Great Skaven Demon, a Lord of Calamity, manifested amid the plague, declaring the ending moments of this war with its power and magic atop the Great Pyramid.

Under the relentless assault from the Lord of Calamity and Skurk, the Observatory Guards were already nearly annihilated. The last dozen Temple Guards were still fighting valiantly, protecting Crok within the shield, but it was only a matter of time before they too would fail.

At this moment, Fugen, who was battling within the Ratman horde, also felt despair. He was overwhelmed by over a hundred Plague Monks and Storm Rats. Even as a Primarch, Fugen was temporarily unable to break free from the siege. He finally answered the voice inside him: ”I need your help.”

”Extend your hand, Son of the Ancient Saint, reach toward the sky! I will give you all my power!” The mysterious hissing voice responded to Fugen’s words.

With Fugen’s movement, the black clouds split open above the heavens, golden light tore across the sky. Within the dazzling light and shadow, a long spear over three meters long descended into Fugen’s hand. Carved upon the spear was an image of a giant dragon soaring among the stars, the golden dragon breathing fire, with flames on the battle spear burning like a surging river, like a furious ocean tearing the sky apart!

The gift from the Snake God Sotigo, the Sotigo Battle Spear!

Merely by grasping the battle spear, Fugen knew what level of Divine Artifact this was. The Primarch of the Emperor’s Sons let out a joyous laugh. His body surged with blood and energy, once again feeling the thrill of battle since the Great Crusade. He gripped the battle spear and infused all his Spiritual Energy into the Divine Artifact.

”Rat scum! Feel my wrath!”

The Sotigo Battle Spear swept across Fugen’s surroundings. Amidst the radiance and lightning, over a hundred Skaven Ratmen were sliced cleanly in half, then turned to ash in the flames and thunder.

Fugen did not linger in the battle. He immediately rushed toward the top of the pyramid. Relying on the unmatched group damage ability of the Sotigo Battle Spear, he carved a bloody path through the Ratman horde.

At this moment, the last Observatory Guard also fell before Skurk and the Lord of Calamity. Now nothing could stop Skurk from destroying Crok’s body.

Skurk swung the Plague Incense Burner, while the Lord of Calamity drew the Cursed Blade. Under the Demon Toad’s powerful magic ability lay an extremely vulnerable body. Just a few blows and all efforts to revive the First Generation Venerable Demon Toad Crok would be in vain.

Without a chance to act, the Lord of Calamity suddenly pushed Skurk away. Before Skurk could understand what had happened, at almost the same moment, a golden laser beam struck where they had just stood, shattering the solid stone slab to pieces.

”Hey, this gift from the Deities is much better than an Explosive Arrow Gun.” Not far away, Fugen held the Sotigo Battle Spear, the Primarch of the Emperor’s Sons now resembling a blood-soaked warrior. The laser beam had been released from the Sotigo Battle Spear, nearly killing Skurk.

The continuous fierce battles left Fugen in a weakened state feeling exhausted, but not since the Great Crusade had he felt such burning battle spirit: ”Finally made it in time!”

”I’ll hold him back!” The Great Skaven Demon, the Lord of Calamity realized the enemy’s strength, and immediately turned to charge at Fugen, blocking him, while Lord Skurk quickly climbed up from the ground, stumbled a few steps, and found the fallen Plague Incense Burner, preparing to deliver a fatal blow to Crok.

Time was extremely critical. As Skurk approached Crok, sounds of the Lord of Calamity’s anguished screams came from behind. The Sotigo Battle Spear had already pierced through the Lord of Calamity’s belly. The Skaven Great Demon was using its body to entangle Fugen, exerting all its power just to delay Fugen for a brief moment!

”Frog creature! Immortal disgusting thing! Diedie!” Lord Skurk swung the Plague Incense Burner.

There was nothing to stop it now, nothing!

It miscalculated.

Within those few short seconds, certain things had already changed.

Slowly, inevitably, irresistibly, the Venerable Crok seated at the top of the pyramid raised his hand toward Skurk. From behind the Golden Burial Mask, his face had regained vitality. The once empty eyes now bore pupils that fixed upon the enemy before him. The newly awakened First Generation Demon Toad Crok uttered a single word to Skurk: ”Judgment.”

”BOOM!”

The force from beyond the stars halted Skurk’s every movement. The once unparalleled right paw of the Plague Clan was blown away by a terrifying force. Amidst furious screams, Skurk was sent flying dozens of kilometers, disappearing like a meteor beyond the horizon.

The Great Horned Rat’s blessing had finally proven somewhat useful, allowing the Plague Clan’s right paw to survive by a stroke of luck.

Left behind was a headless army of Ratmen.

”Ha!” The Lord of Calamity also fell before Fugen.

”I have returned.” The First Generation Demon Toad, the Venerable Crok was fully resurrected. His eyes opened wide, beholding the chaotic battlefield near the Great Pyramid. Sensing his reborn body, Crok continued: ”After the world and Creator were torn apart by terrifying dark armies, we followed the ancient glory. At the most critical moment, I have returned.”

”We shall eliminate all Chaos Power and chaotic entities!”

”For we are the true cosmic essence and the great way! No one can defy our execution of the Ancient Saint’s will, for the Great Plan!”

The stars gathered above Itaza, and Crok’s power made the constellations tremble, the earth shake.

A divine light like a second sun was released from within Crok.

”Boom!”

A loud explosion, all creatures fell silent, and a terrifying nova impact enveloped all of Itaza, blood light illuminating the entire city in an instant. Both the void and the Mortal World were baptized by this light, even the Chaos Domain was halted before Crok’s cosmic might.

The next moment, time seemed to stop, and the Starlight Bridge and the Great Pyramid fell into a deathly silence.

The entire Ratman army of the Plague Clan was annihilated by this blow, not a single rat scum survived.

Such is the power of the First Generation Demon Toad, the greatest High Priest Shilan, Crok.
