Warhammer Divine Throne

Chapter 1183: Chapter 512: Aurora’s Arrival_2

”Very well.” Mathew Bade nodded and softly said, ”For this reason, I want to keep Fiona and marry her.”

”Because in my future plans, she’s very useful! She’ll be the key to destroying this country.”

...... I am a very useful dividing line ......

Time passed unnoticed, midsummer and golden autumn flew by in military preparation and harvest.

Soon, the peaceful and serene Count Glamorgan domain welcomed the first snowfall of the year.

This also marked the ninth year since Laine came to Brittania, and the snowflakes fell densely, quickly turning Laine’s black parted long hair and his bearskin coat white.

The world was silent. Only the sound of snowfall remained, along with the footsteps of two people in the wilderness.

”You look more and more like him.” Anggron, the Devourer Gene Primordial, carried two axes on his back, gazing at Laine’s face as if reminiscing.

”Another season of blooming, brother. Sometimes I feel small, sometimes I feel strong.” Laine sighed, ”Brother Lorgar eventually left, he couldn’t wait to spend the Winter Festival with us.”

”For Lorgar, anywhere is a place of prayer.” Anggron threw the War Axe Carver he held, as the Divine Artifact battleaxe carved a blood-red arc in the sky, then spun back into Anggron’s hand with his summoning gesture, ”This was Lorgar’s duty, and his mission.”

”And what is brother’s mission?” Laine’s bearskin cloak fluttered in the light snow and wind, he asked somewhat wistfully.

”I’ve retired.” Anggron grinned after two minutes of seriousness, ”The future is yours.”

”...” Laine felt the veins in his temple throb, he glanced at his brother, smiled wryly, and said, ”Brother has the luxury to retire, but I don’t. I must strive to advance to the throne.”

”Indeed, put in the effort. I need to deliver my gains to the Forest Cottage.” Anggron took out a large sack, its opening tightly secured, ”Congratulations, brother. By this time next year, you’ll be a father. Time sure flies.”

”Yes.” Speaking of this, Laine couldn’t help but smile slightly.

Before taking Lorgar away, the Emperor and Clarkson visited Little Maid Amelia, who had become the Duchess of Nuer, the Brescia Prince-Elector, and the Weisen Territory Grand Duke, Emmanuelle von Lebewitz-Bernardino, in Nuer. The Emperor determined that Amelia was carrying a healthy boy, blessed her, and then left with Lorgar.

Laine wanted to visit Amelia but was refused. The little maid said to wait until the child was born. Amelia now secluded herself in the guarded high tower of the Prince-Elector’s Palace in Nuer, under constant vigilance. It’s said that when the Emperor and Clarkson appeared before Amelia, the little maid was nearly frightened unconscious. Clarkson taught Amelia some things and gifted her a crow feather before leaving.

”By the way, brother, what’s in that sack?” Laine curiously eyed Anggron’s sack, listening to the sound of metal clinking inside.

”Oh, this is full of gold and silver.” Anggron opened the sack, revealing a gleam of gold and silver, ”You should know, right, from the main peak of the Oracle Mountain Range, inside Oka Mountain, there’s a Green Skin Fortress. Your friend King Belgar sent a group of Rangers to guide me...”

”I understand, no need to say more.” Laine immediately raised his hand to indicate he understood, ”So now Oka Mountain is occupied by the Angland clan?”

”King Belgar split his clan into two branches. Part of them reside in Oka Mountain, and another part in Black Stone Stronghold.” Anggron nodded, ”Each side has over six thousand people, and the rest of the Angland clan continues to migrate here.”

The brothers talked for a while before going their separate ways. Previously, a batch of Ugoer people suffered some losses, so naturally, the Empire sent another batch of about one hundred Ugoer people, still under Captain Ivan’s command. This new batch took the opportunity to smuggle a large shipment and brought along a few big bears.

Recently, Anggron developed a new hobby: bare-chested wrestling with big bears and fishing in the holes he carved on the Xinong River.

Laine, on the other hand, hurried back to the town.

Today was the arrival day of Female Elder Jialan and Aurora, leading an entire Witch Corps.

At the entrance of the winery, the female sorceress was dressed elaborately. She led twelve witch apprentices waiting at the scene, her personal apprentice, a beautiful Ice Witch named Emma, stood behind her. Despite the snow, Teresa donned a classical long dress with a glaze blue bodice, a fox fur coat, and her favorite black knee-high stiletto boots, with her black, shimmering long hair cascading to her waist. As far as the eye could see, the world was a monotonous white; the snow carried the chill and desolation of winter, swirling in the air, with the female sorceress standing out like a winter plum blossom in the snow.

Laine approached Teresa, noting the female sorceress’s excellent mood, and Count also smiled, ”When is Lady Aurora expected to arrive?”
