Chapter 1163: Chapter 503: Serpents and Rats

The Blade of Decay pierced the body of the Lizardman, and facing the tsunami-like onslaught of the Skaven Ratmen army, the Lizardman army guarding in front of the Pyramid finally couldn’t stop their collapse.

Mazda Moody struggled to cast spells to protect the fragile defense network. He raised his hand, unleashing the Eight Wind Storm, and the deadly gale and rain swept through all attacking Skaven Ratmen, but the number of Ratmen was simply too overwhelming.

Warlord Kuga also noticed the army was collapsing and personally led the Armored Dragon group and Tyrannosaur group to assist. Five Armored Dragons formed a dense formation, crashing through the tsunami-like Ratmen army. After completing their mission, the five severely injured Armored Dragons, surrounded by Ratmen, immediately fell dead.

Riding on the Tyrannosaurus, Kuga charged and slaughtered throughout. His bravery made even the craziest Plague Monks fear him. No Skaven Ratman dared to attempt to obstruct this great Lizardman War General, as Kuga slaughtered one Plague Monk Legion after another by himself.

But even so, Kuga realized the war was being lost, and he might not complete the mission. The hundreds of Cold Lizard Cavalry and dozens of Tyrannosaurs that originally charged with him now only had a dozen individuals following him, the rest having been completely overwhelmed by the Ratmen tide.

Despite Kuga and Mazdamundi’s valiant efforts to protect Venerable Crok, the situation had shifted significantly towards the Skaven Ratmen. Most of the army had been thoroughly defeated by the Skaven Ratmen, and Rat Giants and more Plague Monk Legions continued to flood the battlefield.

The path to Venerable Crok’s body atop the Great Pyramid had been cleared, and the cunning Lord Skurk released an excited cry.

Cold-bloods are doomed, today!

The Rat tide had initiated a charge along the hundreds of steps of the Pyramid, and at the forefront, the Plague Guard and Lord Skurk could already see the half-slumbering Crok.

”killkill! Offspring of the Great Horned Rat! Must honor his command!” The Plague Incense Burner smashed onto the head of a Temple Guard, and the toxic mist expelled from the Plague Incense Burner melted the Temple Guard into a bubbling filth.

He was about to succeed!

The final reinforcements, the Temple Guard Legion guarding Master Crok, the Observatory Guard Legion, were also forced to join the battlefield. These oldest, most honorable Itaza Guards had always fought only to protect the Pyramid, and they gathered in front of the fragile body of Crok, barely resisting the Plague Warriors and the green tide like the sea.

”Ugh!” Fugen and his Ash Legion were also in collapse. The human army had suffered casualties exceeding five thousand people, and under the influence of the plague, many faces had grown red spots, rotting sores, and rashes. Facing the Skaven Ratmen’s fierce attack, the Ash Legion was on the brink of collapse, retreating towards the steps of the Great Pyramid, preparing for the final resistance.

At this moment, Fugen was soaked entirely in the Skaven Ratmen’s blood. The blood and chunks of flesh on his body had solidified into clumps of red and green mixtures, and his originally smooth and sleek silver hair was stained with the Ratmen’s blood and flesh.

Too many enemies! The Primarch of the Emperor’s Sons frowned, facing the Rat tide covering every inch of the Starlight Bridge, even Fugen felt tremendous pressure.

Fugen first killed the Slaanesh Demon Prince Azazel and then slew the Great Demon of Slaughter Kongx in the subsequent battles, then immediately led the Ash Legion to confront the Skaven Ratmen’s Rat tide head-on. Despite such fierce combat, even if Fugen could eliminate all Skaven Ratmen appearing before him, he could not prevent the Rat tide from approaching Crok!

Gradually retreating until there was nowhere left to retreat, upon the thousands of steps of the Great Pyramid, the last resistance of the Lizardmen and the Human Alliance Army was being waged in desperation.

Fugen swung his sword to strike down two Rat Giants. He could feel the weakness of rebirth still tormenting him. The Primarch of the Emperor’s Sons gathered all his strength to consecutively kill dozens of Plague Monks, then gripped his power sword tightly, gazing at the skies of blood-soaked wind and rain, Fugen gasped for breath: ”I, Fugen, the Emperor’s Son, will never let Father be disappointed again, never.”

Unconsciously, Fugen leaned against a stone mural.

On the mural was painted a giant snake wandering among the stars, the Skaven Ratmen’s blood and flesh splattered on the stone surface, seemingly activating something, and the entire stone began to emit a dark red glow.

”Son of the Ancient Saint.” Fugen heard a deep hissing sound by his ears.

”Son of the Ancient Saint~?”

”Who are you?”

”Son of the Ancient Saint, we have a common enemy.” The hissing sound contained extreme hatred: ”Son of the Ancient Saint, accept my gift! Let us join forces against the enemy.”

At this moment, the Skaven Ratmen had already climbed onto the platform at the top of the Pyramid. Lord Skurk saw Crok right in front of him, and the Plague Clan’s right claw waved the Plague Incense Burner, crushing the Observatory Guard in front into puree. He loudly hailed his own victory, certain the Great Horned Rat would reward him for his great deeds.

The Plague Clan’s right claw? This name is so low. He, Skurk, should become the chief of the Plague Clan, Nagrich!

Yesyes! That’s right!

The blood of the Plague Monks and Temple Guards already splattered at Crok’s feet, and amidst his victory excitement and joy, Lord Skurk clearly ignored some crucial circumstances.

The rear base he meticulously established was collapsing, with Ratmen guards facing a whole new enemy attack!

A massive roar resounded to the sky, and the chaotic forest was ripped apart by fierce attacks.

It’s snakes! It’s tens of thousands of snakes!

On the great avenue of the Starlight Bridge, an endless snake tide formed a colorful carpet. They slithered forward, devouring the Rat tide in large mouths. While Lord Skurk kept his focus on Crok, the rear of the Skaven Ratmen had already been beaten into disarray!

Groups of Red Crowned Spirit Lizard Warriors gathered around the Armored Dragon bearing the Sotigo Holy Torch! And following closely were the swiftly moving Cold Lizard Spirit Lizard Cavalry and Ferocious Giant Lizard Battle Group, as several Lizardman Legions and Red Crowned Spirit Lizard Squads joined the battlefield as reinforcements, they devoured the Skaven Ratmen’s tide like a mudslide!

And deep within the forest, an Ancient Triceratops equipped with the Sotigo Snake God Engine was stepping onto the battlefield of the Starlight Bridge. The Gods Engine released a beam throughout the sky, the scorching ray falling from above engulfing the entire Rat tide, leaving only scorched earth and puddles of melted foam in its path.

A remarkably powerful Red Crowned Spirit Lizard wielding a tablet inscribed with the birth prophecy of Snake God Sotigo, declaring its arrival!

The Snake God Legion has arrived! The end of the Skaven Ratmen has come!
