Chapter 2328: Chapter 2329: Climbing Onto My Head

Ning Zihan had no feelings towards Su Mo and Su Xing. He just stood there, glancing over at An Baobei who was still sitting on the sofa, and casually asked, ”Did you see the text I sent inviting you to dinner?”

”I saw it!” An Baobei replied grumpily. If she wasn’t worried that he’d pick on her younger siblings again, she wouldn’t have answered at all.

”Then when will you have dinner with me?”

”Not having dinner!”

”Then when can I call you?”

”Not answering!”

With that, Ning Zihan picked up the cup from the table and turned to leave.

An Baobei was momentarily stunned, glared at Ning Zihan, and then continued to play with her younger brother and sister.

Ning Zihan not only poured himself a glass of water but also poured one for An Baobei. As he passed through the living room, he didn’t say a word; he merely placed the glass of water in front of An Baobei before heading upstairs.

Out of the corner of her eye, An Baobei noticed that Ning Zihan had poured her a glass of water, but she didn’t say anything. She waited until Ning Zihan was about to reach the second floor’s staircase before glancing at him.

Once Ning Zihan disappeared at the top of the staircase, she picked up the glass and drank.

I have to admit, she was actually a bit thirsty.

After drinking more than half the glass at once, she lay down on the sofa, letting her 17-month-old brother and sister climb over her to play.

Seeing Su Mo trying to crawl onto her head, she caught hold of his little body and laughed, ”Mo Mo, call me ’sister,’ and I’ll let you climb onto my head. How about that?”

Su Mo hadn’t called out yet, but Su Xing, who was crawling up her knees, started calling out in her little unclear voice, ”Sister... Sister...”

Although the two children couldn’t speak much yet, they had learned to call the names of the family members.

Hearing Su Xing call out first, Su Mo pouted unhappily, then also called out unclearly towards An Baobei, ”Sister... Sister... Sister...”

An Baobei first praised little Su Xing, then let go of little Su Mo, allowing him to climb onto her head, while making sure to hold onto Su Mo to prevent him from falling.

Her other hand was holding onto Su Xing.

When An Jing came down after her bath, she saw An Baobei lying on the sofa with Su Mo’s little hands clutching her head, while Su Xing was slowly crawling from An Baobei’s knees up to her waist. She laughed, ”In the future, Mo Mo and Xin Xin will definitely be close to you.”

”Of course they will be. After all, I’m their sister,” An Baobei said as she continued to lie there.

An Jing came over, sat down beside her, and clapped her hands at Su Xing. ”Xin Xin, come to mommy.”

Having already seen her mommy, and upon hearing her call, Su Xing immediately grinned widely and quickly crawled towards her.

When An Jing saw her little daughter crawl over, she reached out and picked up Su Xing.

Little Su Mo saw his mommy, but didn’t crawl over to her. He didn’t mind that his sister was in their mommy’s arms. His little hands continued holding onto An Baobei’s head, eyes intent on figuring out how to play with her long hair.

”Mom, Mo Mo and Xin Xin are almost one and a half years old now. You should probably go back to work at the company. You don’t go to work with Dad, so you don’t know how many times a day Dad calls you.”

An Jing chuckled, ”The calls are for me, so of course, I know how many times a day your dad calls. But your siblings are still so young. To me, you’re still a kid, and they’re only 17 months old.”
