Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 2305: Chapter 2306: Pursuing An Baobei (6)

Looking at their machetes and steel pipes, to avoid getting hurt, Ning Zihan decided not to resist at all, letting them tie him up easily.

The leader of the kidnappers thought it was too easy, so he asked puzzled, ”Hey, Ning Zihan, are you just going to let us tie you up without resisting at all?”

Ning Zihan said calmly, ”You want money, not my life. If I resist, you might end up taking my life too.”

”You’re truly a rich man with the ability to earn so much money! Smart! Sensible!” the kidnapper leader immediately praised.

Ning Zihan didn’t smile; instead, he asked, ”How did you know the nail would definitely puncture my tire?”

The kidnapper leader laughed heartily, ”We had someone watching you at the company entrance. I timed it so that when you were almost here, I scattered the nails.”

Ning Zihan understood and didn’t ask any more questions.

Meanwhile, the kidnapper leader took a phone from his pocket and called another accomplice, ”Hurry up and bring the car over; we’ve already caught Ning Zihan.”

As soon as he said that, the kidnapper leader hung up. And just as he hung up, they heard the sound of a car approaching.

It was a car heading from the city towards the suburbs.

”Boss, isn’t that our car?” someone asked, not quite sure.

The kidnapper leader immediately slapped that person on the head: ”Of course not! Our car should be coming from the suburbs! And that car is a red convertible; ours is a van, okay! Quickly, remove the nails from the road, don’t let that car stop too. We don’t want to kidnap that person! Right, make Ning Zihan face his car, and let’s hide our stuff so no one sees!”

As his accomplices quickly cleaned everything up, the red convertible car was already next to them. Although Ning Zihan was made to stand facing the car, from the corner of his eye he could see that the person in the convertible was An Baobei.

No wonder he found the car familiar; it turned out to be the birthday gift he had bought for his sister back then, and even though his sister married Su Chengyu, this car was never driven and stayed in the garage.

It seems today, An Baobei drove this car out to have fun.

An Baobei was enjoying herself today, bought a lot of stuff, all placed in the back seat of the car. She was concentrating on driving when she suddenly saw a group of people halfway returning to the Su family’s house, with a car parked there too.

Initially, she didn’t notice Ning Zihan, who was hidden by the kidnappers and standing facing the car, but she did notice the license plate of the parked car.

That license plate number... if she remembered correctly, it should be Ning Zihan’s.

Thinking this, her car had already driven past those people, and realizing something was wrong, she immediately turned the car around a short distance ahead and drove back.

When the kidnappers saw this, they quickly said to their leader, ”Boss, it’s no good, that car is coming back!”

The kidnapper leader snorted, ”A woman, what’s there to fear! At worst, we just kidnap one more person! Look at that car, it seems to be a limited edition, maybe that woman is rich too!”

Ning Zihan knew An Baobei had good skills; the first time they met, his four bodyguards had experienced it, but now there were more than ten people, all strong and holding machetes and steel pipes. He was very worried that An Baobei couldn’t handle them and might get hurt, so he didn’t call out to An Baobei but let her drive away.

Who knew, An Baobei would actually turn the car around and come back.
