Chapter 2306: Chapter 2307: Pursuing An Baobei (7)

When An Baobei saw the car turning around, out of concern, Ning Zihan began to struggle with the ropes tying his hands.

Although he wasn’t as skilled as An Baobei, he should still be able to handle two or three burly men.

Besides, he couldn’t just stand by and watch, letting An Baobei, a woman, rescue him while he did nothing.

As soon as An Baobei drove the car back, she parked it in front of the kidnappers. The kidnappers hadn’t gotten a good look at her before, but now that they saw her clearly, they whistled: ”Wow, turns out she’s a beauty!”

An Baobei pushed open the car door and got out. After standing firm, she coldly asked, ”Who are you people?”

As she asked this, her eyes glanced towards Ning Zihan standing behind these men. Ning Zihan was also looking at her, his expression sour, as if he was very unhappy she had turned back to save him.

If you weren’t my aunt’s brother, would I have turned back to help you?! An Baobei suppressed the impulse to turn around and leave, not wanting to look at Ning Zihan and make herself angry, instead focusing on dealing with the kidnappers.

”Beauty, can’t you see? We’re kidnappers! Didn’t you turn around because you thought something was off? But coming back here again, you really are quite the fool.” Saying this, the kidnappers sneered.

Seeing these men were kidnappers, An Baobei didn’t bother asking why they kidnapped Ning Zihan, she just said plainly, ”Let him go, and I won’t fight with you.”

These words, heard by the kidnappers, sounded like mere bravado. The kidnappers burst into laughter.

An Baobei felt it was pointless to say more to these kidnappers, so she immediately started fighting. Even though the kidnappers had steel pipes and machetes, and she had no weapons at all, it was difficult to handle, but she didn’t doubt she could rescue Ning Zihan.

Once she knocked down a kidnapper, An Baobei seized the steel pipe from the kidnapper’s hand, making it easier to deal with the others.

The kidnappers were astonished, not expecting a woman to be so formidable. They had been quite relaxed, but seeing a companion knocked down, they became ferocious, striking at An Baobei with steel pipes and hacking at her with machetes.

When An Baobei had knocked down five kidnappers, Ning Zihan freed himself from the ropes, quickly called the police, and then joined the battle to help An Baobei deal with the remaining kidnappers.

Ning Zihan had just taken down two unarmed, and the rest of the kidnappers were all knocked down by An Baobei.

After knocking down the kidnappers, An Baobei threw away the steel pipe in her hand, clapped her hands, and walked over to Ning Zihan, saying in an irritated manner: ”Don’t think I wanted to save you, I didn’t want to at all, I only did it for my aunt’s sake.”

”I know.”

As Ning Zihan’s emotionless three words fell, a van came speeding towards them, stopping in front of them. Four burly men jumped out, holding machetes, and charged at them.

He could still block steel pipes, but using his hands to block machetes would surely result in injury.

An Baobei, skilled in Martial Arts, picked up the steel pipe faster than Ning Zihan. She took up the steel pipe and stood in front of Ning Zihan, resolving the machete crisis coming at him.

Before Ning Zihan could act, An Baobei had solved the threat from the four kidnappers who charged out of the van.

After handling those four kidnappers, An Baobei turned around and once more said to Ning Zihan: ”I told you before; I did it for my aunt’s sake, so you don’t need to thank me.”
