COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

Nagumo’s joker cards are unopened, so you can be completely at ease.

It’s just that Ishizaki is not very good at acting, so when joker was in his hand couldn’t hide his expression at all, and was easily targeted by senior students after observing.

Hashimoto then took over, but still failed to gain an advantage, and in the end first-year students had to cook for three days.

One day was added to original schedule.

As soon as Nagumo finished playing the joker, he took out a new deck of playing cards and headed for the next dormitory.

It seemed that he was planning to play joker for the entire school.

It is true that difficult to gather all the first-year students under normal circumstances, but a collective accommodation situation like this is enough for him to confirm the first-year students one by one.

Although it was difficult to peek into girl’s side, boys were enough for him to get to know them one by one.

???

If just about making friends, then it would be a great opportunity, but unfortunately Nagumo didn’t want to.

Moreover, he also had the challenge of competing with Horikita Manabu for scores among large groups.

Time suddenly came to late night.

Hachiman was sleeping on the upper bunk, and around 12 o’clock, he noticed a slight noise coming from the lower bunk.

It was Hashimoto who seemed to get up from the bed, put on his shoes, and walked out quietly.

After a day of physical training, he was still in high spirits.

Hachiman immediately followed.

”Hi, Ryuen.” Hashimoto tiptoed just to meet a student, and that student was....

“What on earth do you want?” They were gathered outside the shoe cabinet for changing into indoor and outdoor shoes, and Ryuen had his arms crossed.

By the way, when Hashimoto was taking a shower today, he walked towards Ryuen’s direction.

It was probably at that time he asked Ryuen to meet him in evening.

”I have something I want to talk about, but it’s hard to say it in public. Besides, we are in different groups, so there are very few opportunities for us to meet or talk. If it wasn’t so late at night, I wouldn’t be able to call you out, right?”

“So it’s about Sakayanagi? I’ve already withdrawn as the class representative, so I won’t get involved in this kind of thing anymore. If all you want to talk about is this simple thing, then I have no interest at all.”

Ryuen said with a hateful tone and wanted to turn around and leave.

”Wait, it’s actually my own doubt.” Hashimoto said, ”I don’t understand why you suddenly gave up Class D!”

Why did you give up Class D?

Isn’t it okay for anyone with a discerning eye to see this kind of thing?

Because as a class representative, he not only made his classmates live a life of hunger, but he himself was also burdened with huge debts.

And class evaluation scores are all reset to 0.

Let me ask, how can he have the nerve to continue standing in that position except to resign?

Although everyone thought so in mind.

But Ryuen said proudly, “I’m just tired of coordinating a group of people who would rebel against me. So I don’t want to help them anymore.”

“And I will acknowledge the 1 million points I owe you, but it will take some time before I can return it....”

Hashimoto just felt a little unhappy about Ryuen owing money.

Because he betrayed the class during island exam and sold leader’s information to Ryuen.

He didn’t expect that just wanting to make some extra money ended up causing the class to lose so many points.

At the same time.

Ryuen, this bastard, hasn’t given him any money yet and keeps defaulting on his payment.

And this kind of thing can’t be said openly.

For example, if he makes Ryuen angry and reports that he betrayed the class, then he will not have a good ending.

Because, if class had not fallen behind, it would be fine, but now it is Class C.

Npc’s in class are very sensitive about this matter.

So Hashimoto also felt guilty.

“I see, so that’s your truth,” Hashimoto nodded in agreement, and then cleverly changed the subject. “But personally, I hope you can continue to lead Class D.”

”What’s the meaning?”

”Although I am a student in Class A, I have fallen down. Although Princess Sakayanagi is now in charge, it is only a matter of time before I get promoted. However, I think you are a very unique person. I guess no one in the first grade can beat you except Sakayanagi and one other person, so I need outside help....” Hashimoto’s mouth was running today.

“Another person? This is definitely not Katsuragi. Or are you talking about Hikigaya Hachiman? Aren’t you already a team with him? Then you know exactly what kind of person he is....” Ryuen said coldly, ”Then you have the same mentality as me.”

“So you gave up because you failed in your fight with him,” Hashimoto finally said with a hint of color in his eyes.

And the previous bunch of words were probably also to make Ryuen tell his truth.

He wanted to know why Ryuen gave up becoming the leader.

“If you came here just to gather intelligence for Sakayanagi, then you can take the information back now. It’s really bad luck that you called me out for this. I’m going back.” Ryuen stepped on the ground twice and said.

“Wait a minute, I admit that I did accept orders of that little princess to get you to be so negative, but I want to be friends with you sincerely.”

“Really...?” As if he finally showed some interest, Ryuen crossed his arms, for no doubt he is going to believe this green snake.

“But if someone saw you and I meeting, or recorded the conversation, I think students in your class C would definitely think you were betraying them,” Ryuen’s tongue is now full of acid, “Especially someone like you who has a criminal record.”

It actually struck a nerve inside Hashimoto’s double crossing heart.

“....Haha, so I came to you with sincerity. I bet you won’t give up Class D. You will definitely rise. As long as you stand up, only Sakayanagi or Hikigaya can compete with you in the first grade. But I think you are more worthy of betting because you can do anything,” Hashimoto smiled trying to ignore conflict he felt inside,“So, can you welcome me to join you? Ryuen!”

“I see, you want to be my spy, that’s really tempting,” Ryuen just gave him a blank glance with no interest, ”But unfortunately, this won’t be good. You are not worthy of my trust.”

”Why?” Hashimoto frowned. He felt things seemed to be... becoming complicated.

“You said it yourself, you only think Sakayanagi Arisu or Hikigaya Hachiman can fight against me.” Ryuen almost sneered at this guy’s stupidity, “But aren’t you in the same group with Hikigaya Hachiman? Do you think he wouldn’t even notice it when you point it out like this?”

“....” Indeed.

Hashimoto didn’t pay attention to this, was he being followed, “But even if he paid attention, it would be useless because all the phones were handed in, so he couldn’t record our interactions or the topics we talked about. So even if he spread the word that I betrayed Class C, no one would believe him.”

”Is that so?” Ryuen looked at him coldly, he took a step further with dark footsteps, “I was cheated out of millions by Hikigaya Hachiman’s recording. Even if the phone was handed over, wouldn’t he have prepared a recorder? I found 5 recorders on that bitch.”

“…”

“…” Hashimoto looked straight into Ryuen’s eyes, and he finally felt something was not right.

He always felt empty in his heart after coming out today. Could it be because of this disharmony now?

”Well, that’s it.” Hachiman finally stopped hiding.

He emerged from the shadows, holding a red recorder in his hand.

“Hashimoto Masayoshi, your deal is worth 1 million, right? I think you will be happy to give it to me. After all, you were a spy on Deserted island, besides it will be very difficult to expose your surrender to Ryuen now.”

Damn it.

The gentle and polite appearance that Hashimoto had put on in order to obtain information suddenly exploded.

Only, Hachiman did not continue to care about Hashimoto, but went to the indoor shoes because he heard someone crying.

You have to know that time now is 0:15, and those who are still staying at the shoe closet at this time either want to be alone or someone has been bullied and is hiding here crying alone, not wanting others to know or see.

Originally, he was just curious about Hashimoto’s behavior, but after making some extra money, Hachiman walked towards direction of the sobbing sound, then squatted down and hid.

As an observer of mankind, he tried his best to eliminate his own traces and breath.

He immediately discovered there was indeed a student curled up in corner crying.

The other party didn’t notice him, but Hachiman could see her holding back her tears, and for a moment he didn’t know what to do.

However, even if place is difficult to be discovered, there is still no telling when other students will appear.

Like Hashimoto, who is probably furious, he probably doesn’t want to come here at all now, but it’s not certain about Ryuen.

So Hachiman felt situation had to be dealt with as soon as possible.
