COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

’Fuck!’ Kushida already smelled a crisp of gunpowder tickling her nostrils.

”…3 students who didn’t come today?”

In the room, Chabashira-sensei gently closed her eyes, then opened again, because her history class was next, but the classroom was not full.

Kushida in front row is not here.

Horikita Suzune, who was sitting in the back seat, was gone.

And Hikigaya Hachiman, who was sitting by the window, also... not there.

“About this--”

The good-natured Hirata-kun stood up, but he didn’t know how to explain.

If he told the truth, he would say that Suzune was suddenly criticized and then taken out by Hachiman, and that Kushida also went out because she was worried about them.

This is a fact, but if spoken out loud, the teachers will definitely feel ashamed of them.

Because people spread rumors about classmates and embarrassed them.

This kind of thing is definitely not what Class A standards are.

If don’t explain it,

“Is that so?” Chabashira seriously checked het phone.

“The three of them have asked for leave. So please turn to page 188. Today I will talk about division of labor among the clans...”

Chabashira entered into teaching mode.

”Huh——” This made Hirata-kun breathe a sigh of relief.

But one student was troubled.

Because he found himself being stared at by several girls.

They were a group of girls headed by Karuizawa. She, Sato, and Chiaki all stared at him.

The look of disgust was revealed on face without any concealment.

Although Yamauchi was a bit stupid, he also realized they must be upset about what he had just said to Horikita Suzune.

“It’s none of my business—”

Yamauchi felt wronged, because if Suzune could get the test paper, then everyone wouldn’t have to study.

After class.

As soon as Chabashira-sensei left, Yamauchi wanted to stand up, but found that several girls surrounded him.

Led by Karuizawa Kei, the other party put a hand on his desk, ”Yamauchi, are you a fool?”

”W-why do you say that?”

Although he was surrounded by beautiful girls in the class, Yamauchi was actually a little scared of this kind of momentum.

Because they all come with great force.

”You’re talking nonsense, aren’t you?” Shinohara Satsuki was really angry just now, “Even I know about this. The one who prepared test was Sakayanagi-san, Katsuragi-kun and his friends from Class C. How could president know this? Did you take money from others to slander our class?”

“Now that we have finally made it to Class A, and something like this happens, why don’t you drop out of school, Yamauchi?”

”W-why...I didn’t, I didn’t take any money!”

”You’d say that kind of bullshit if you don’t get paid?”

”me--”

The fighting is about to start.

”Okay, everyone, please stop discussing this. It’s very rude to Horikita-san or anyone else. We are a class, a collective. But Yamauchi-kun, let’s not talk about the rumors just now. Regardless of whether they are true or not, it is indeed very rude for you to say such things. When Horikita-san comes back, I hope you can apologize to her!”

The good guy Hirata quickly stood up and spoke. ”And everyone, please stop talking nonsense. We are in Class A now, and it is not easy. Whether it is Katsuragi-kun, Sakayanagi-san, Ryuen-kun’s, or even Ichinose-san’s class, they will all be watching us. If there is a strife, we will suffer a great loss!”

”That’s right, Yamauchi, can’t you study more? Fortunately, I’m not your partner this time, otherwise I would be very worried!” Yukimura Teruhiko, a top student, also joined in the conversation.

Ike Kanji, who was sitting in his seat, originally thought that he could take this opportunity to talk about this guy Yamauchi.

Not only does he not appreciate other people’s friendship, but can’t even control his mouth and say whatever he wants.

But now it seems that Ike doesn’t even need to add fuel to the fire.

Because of everyone’s comments, Yamauchi suddenly felt that he could no longer stay in the class.

Other side.

Kushida was left alone by Hachiman.

”Okay, I’ve told you.” Kushida was in a bad mood, ”Actually, it was Sakayanagi-san from Class A who invited me, it was her. She said that although it is possible to defeat Horikita Suzune through a written test, but also important to break her heart!”

She directly admitted identity of the mastermind, “I admit that I didn’t think so much, just wanted to defeat Horikita-san....”

”I already know this, you fool!” Looking at Hachiman’s pensive look, Kushida also felt that she would not lose.

Because that’s what new boss girl told her.

[As long as the rumor is spread, you will have to bear the blame, but don’t worry about whether it will be dealt with, because it is a trick to make people think that you have taken action, but in fact you have not.]

[You just use this trick to reassure others and make Hikigaya-kun think you have been working hard on the bet. So it is natural that you win in the end.]

“But if you ask me to deal with the rumors, I don’t think I can do it,” Seeing that Hachiman was glaring at her, Kushida refused directly, “Anyway, the mastermind’s name has already been told to you, and I have done what I can do...hehe~”

“I don’t need your help anyway!” Hachiman said in a dark tone, “This rumor won’t spread at all, so you don’t have to do anything!”

Don’t need to do anything?

When she picked up her phone to check the situation in the classroom, Kushida discovered that students in no longer talked about rumors in class group.

After asking around, she found out that gals were arguing, and then Hirata-kun became explosive, and everyone was muted.

Yamauchi was also ordered to apologize to Horikita Suzune in person if she came back.

Good day!

’So, this class has actually been controlled by my old boss without anyone noticing?’ The little excitement in Kushida’s heart disappeared without a trace in an instant.

“But Sakayanagi asked you to do this..I will give you news...”

’Sakayanagi will definitely tamper with test paper she is going to give you.Because this rumor is not meant to attack Horikita Suzune, but to... fucking fool you, Kushida Kikyo.Makes you feel like you’ve done your best to win the bet. Then she can backstab you when you are completely at ease!’

”What are you confirming...” At this time, Kushida noticed that Hikigaya-kun’s expression was not right.

”You’re such an idiot...” Hachiman bluntly updated his evaluation of Kushida, “Do you think Sakayanagi will really give you real test paper?”

“Eh? Why didn’t she give it to me? Aren’t I a good person who did everything for her?” Kushida-chan was now very confused.

“Will she give you 100%? There is a possibility that she won’t give you! And Kushida, can you accept the 1% risk?”

Kushida POV

’1% risk?

So as long as that 1% exists, doesn’t it mean I will 100% drop out of school?Fuck! Fuck! The bet that I thought I would definitely win was suddenly shaken.’

”Hikigaya-kun!”

3rd POV

Kushida quickly held Hikigaya-kun’s left hand.

The gentle girl clasped her hands together and revealed a pitiful look, ”Please... help me!”

In fact, she is really an idiot, because now realizes that she has made a bet that she cannot give up.

Moreover, it was full of clauses that were unfavorable to her.

’Damn, why did I accept such a bomb?’ Kushida is now filled with regret.

It was really stupid to be expelled from school like this. And once she was kicked out, would have nowhere to go.

Even a 1% risk makes her feel stressed. But she also quickly discovered that Hikigaya-kun seemed to be motionless.

A little consideration.

“Boss, haven’t you always wanted to be a leisurely househusband? You even offered Shiina-san 20 million yen so that she could get a good job and then support you?”

It seems that Kushida’s ability to trick other people is quite strong, and she has already conquered Hiyori.

And Hachiman did say that.

But he was rejected.

Now, Kushida also said so.

Hachiman’s eyes suddenly got more lively, coming back from the well of nothing but painful Death....

’Kushida-san, are you planning to work hard for me?’
