COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

”Also, congratulations After the exam, Ichinose-san you will also be in Class A once!” Kushida-chan’s mood was pretty good today.

Ichinose also made a deal with Hiyori.

Content of deal was that both would leak test papers to each other, and at the same time, Class D would guarantee its total score would lose to Class B.

In other words, 200 extra points were given to Class B.

But there is a price to pay: 600,000 yen in living expenses every month, and that has to last until graduation.

This agreement is very similar to one between Class D and A during the exam on the Deserted island, and it seems to be a case of selling points.

But Ichinose and the others finally accepted proposal.

Therefore, if Hachiman’s class lost to Sakayanagi’s class, then Ichinose’s score would really... be highest.

So have to become Class A.

It was Class A that everyone was looking forward to, but got it so easily.

Ichinose feels a little weird.

But she was also curious.

This time, Class A did not get leaked test questions from Class C, at least most of the students did not memorize or anything like that.

So Class A will fail in this written examination.

....She had already heard this from Hikigaya-kun.

“Hikigaya-kun, do you really not mind us being promoted to Class A?” Ichinose seemed a little hesitant, but still asked.

This is Suzune’s room, and next to her are owner, Kushida-san, and Hikigaya-kun.

They are all in same class.

And if Ichinose is promoted, means that Hikigaya-kun’s class will fall behind.

“Horikita and I want to lead our class to Class A just to prove our strength,” Hachiman was pretty cool about losing now, “As you already know, Horikita is President’s sister, and it’s embarrassing for her to be assigned to Class D, so for President’s sake, we have to rush up once! And you can understand me for a similar reason. So now in Class A, neither she nor I have any motive to defend it!”

’I see. Hikigaya-kun simply has no confidence in his own class.’ Ichinose felt like he was being too harsh, but she also knew deep down he can only be promoted once.

In fact, she can see it slightly.

’The students in Hikigaya-kun’s class do not have enough academic ability, and if there are too many written exams like this, will lose points one after another. And my athletic is also very poor. If there are too many sports exams, I will lose points quickly.’

The offensive and defensive battles were too grueling.

“And the position of Class A is poisonous!” Hachiman even felt like giving her a warning regarding her future, “Take original Class A, once they fell, were extremely anxious. I myself have been stalked by three students from Class A!”

“....” This point is very confusing.

Hachiman was also followed this month, and he asked Sakayanagi about it, but it was not her who assigned people.

Therefore, it could only be a spontaneous action of the students from the original Class A.

“Yes, Ichinose-san, now that you’ve been reached, you have to be mentally prepared!” It was none other Kushida-chan again, she didn’t like Sakayanagi’s betrayal against her.

“Mmmmm——” This was a bit stressful for Ichinose, who was kind to others. ’I am also worried that my classmates will be targeted and troubled.’

Just as Ichinose was about to say something, her phone started vibrating.

”Sorry, sorry - a girl asked me out...” Ichinose stood up quickly and looked at her phone and said, ”Sorry, she wanted to see me, so I have to go back first....”

“No problem....” Hachiman walked her to the entrance and then turned back.

But the expression of Kushida-san, who had just been sitting there like a little angel, changed instantly.

Became a lot colder.

Suzune was drinking tea in a cool and aloof manner, but Kushida-chan was smiling like a Cheshire the whole time.

Kushida felt there was a trap, because if it was just 3 of them, she could reveal her true face, but Ichinose was with her just now, so she had to continue pretending to be the angel.

In fact, she was almost unable to control her emotions.

So now that Ichinose had left, she couldn’t help herself.

She glanced at Hikigaya-kun who nodded.

Then, a creepy down grin appeared on Kushida-chan’s face again, but it was not her usual chaste expression, but a sneer.

”Now we can talk about our relationship,” Kushida was having none of it today.

??? Hachiman.....’Do you mean between 3 of us? Those words are very dangerous, Kushida-san!’

“Although test results haven’t come out yet, I can get 100 points. And these are answers to the paper I did in exam room,” Kushida handed a test paper to Suzune.

The final submission is the answer sheet, so test paper is still in hands of the students.

”And this one is answer.” Kushida handed another piece of paper to her.

Written there were the very strict and formal reference answers.

In other words, Kikyo Kushida cheated and she got the answers to math test in advance.

”How did you do that?!” Suzune looked over immediately.

Because these actions of Kushida undoubtedly declared her defeat!

”Of course, I used other means!” Kushida didn’t want to mix her words today, she already got betrayed once, ”Although you are very smart, even very thorough, Horikita-san, I will not be defeated easily by you!”

However, Kushida is now aggressive, but this is a lie.

She actually contacted the poor students in Class C through Hikigaya-kun, and then got answer from them.

Similarly, she also got the answers to the test paper given by Horikita and gave it to the poor student in Class C.

’Horikita Suzune, despite your careful planning, even Sakayanagi-san finds you easy to deal with! But do you know? The enemy is my boss! Hikigaya-kun asked you to be on guard against me, but you were not on guard against boss at all!’

When she thought of this, Kushida felt a little proud. ’I feel like I’ve been cheated all the time, but now I finally get my revenge.’

But she can only bully Horikita Suzune, “And now, you can fulfill your bet with me,” Kushida had really won, no thanks to Ayanokoji of course.

“• •” Suzune glanced several times at the test paper that Kushida handed over, “....I’m willing to accept the loss. What problem have you encountered now that you need me to protect you?”

“....” Kushida thought she was again looked down upon, but nodded gently. “You only know part of my dark history, but, in fact, it is more serious than you know....”

“In the 3rd year of junior high school, I caused the purge of some bots....As you can see, it’s easy for me to get into other people’s hearts and get their secrets. But if I do this to one person, it’s fine. Only I have a wide range of friends, so even if I know everyone’s secrets and get into their hearts, it’s very stressful....”

“My outlet was to post my thoughts about everyone on my blog, and one day, a girl with no face discovered it, and then naturally...she exploded!”

“When I was under siege, I published content that was not written on my blog, and it was related to the true face of each student.”

“Things like getting pregnant with the teacher’s child, cheating on each other, liking someone or not, all caused a huge reaction from the students. So instead of attacking me, they killed each other, and then class went on strike.”

”And this incident is recorded in my file, so as long it is obtained, I will be in danger...”

“Some people will attack me because of this, and even worse, when new students come in next year, there may be juniors who know. And I don’t want my current image to collapse.

Then someone has to protect me!”

’So this is famous reason for the bet? Pretty stupid if you ask me, why do you care about other people?’ Suzune thought very harshly to herself.

”So now you--” Suzune thought of another point.

That is, Kushida’s explosion in the 3rd year of junior high school was because she had too many friends, knew too many secrets, and was under a lot of pressure.

And now, Suzune felt that other party also made a lot of friends.

So are you going to explode?

“Of course there was a lot of pressure,” Kushida for some reason didn’t like the glint she just witnessed in Suzune’s eyes, ”But it made me feel like I did a good job, a great performance. But I also need to relieve stress regularly. And Hikigaya-kun previously helped me with this....”

“??” Suzune was speechless, this was something girl had not expected.

’No wonder in the previous sports exam, Hachiman asked Kushida-san to be the betrayer and play Ryuen-kun, and she went hugging...An ordinary person wouldn’t be able to do this.Because if you are caught, it would be reasonable to accuse you of betraying the class. So there are risks. Now, these 2 people actually have had a very good relationship since a long time ago.But Hachiman never told me this.’

In this way, Although Kushida is describing her past, Suzune is not very concerned about that at the moment.

Instead, she feels betrayed by her partner.
