COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

It was from Sakayanagi again.

[I passed exam this time.]

If you suddenly see this message, you will find it difficult to understand, because she is here to take the exam, so why does she need to pass?

But Hachiman knew this meant she wanted to find a test to compete with him.

However, this exam was not suitable for either her or him to display their strengths.

It can be said that She is worthy of being the real boss of former Class A.

Arisu Sakayanagi saw the essence of this stay-in exam at a glance.

This is an exam for third graders.

Each grade needs to be divided into 6 groups of boys and 6 groups of girls.

Then form teams with other grades.

In the previous sports meet, the Red Team lost because Nagumo betrayed and manipulated their second years to adjust scores.

This kind of exam, in which entire grade participates together, cannot be decided by a single class.

Therefore, initiative is not in the hands of the first graders, but in second.

The 2nd graders have four classes, and divided into six large and 6 small groups.

Then Nagumo’s legs can operate in a wider range.

Seeing through this, Sakayanagi sent a message immediately.

There is no need to fight for this exam.

And Hachiman even thought that not only would she not fight, but she would even perform poorly in this exam.

Of course, this doesn’t mean that second grade is necessarily strong.

On the contrary, number of students of 2nd grade is smallest, so it is also that can get least points in this exam.

Don’t forget.

But what if the sophomores just give up one by one?

So, unless the first grades also unite, this war cannot be fought.

Cost of joining forces is high.

There is no need to take this risk.

Therefore, it is best to keep quiet and stay in a safe area.

At the same time, Hachiman didn’t think this kind of exam was targeted at first-year students by the school, because it was more like a strategy that required people to learn how to arrange and bribe others.

This is too difficult for 1st years.

’In other words, this may be an assessment for 3rd graders....Specific reason is. Going to graduate.’

This time, Jura Forest will hold an eight-day and seven-night cross-grade group activity, which is even better than the full-grade sports festival.

That is, students will live together across grades.

“We can compete with people from other grades in this exam.”

”Ryuen, didn’t you say in the past that it was worthless to just fight with people in same grade? Now you can directly compete with someone of President’s level!”

Same instructions also appear on the D class bus.

After hearing what Sakagami said, Ishizaki, who was sitting next to Ryuen, immediately spoke up.

”...” But Ryuen just closed his eyes and didn’t say anything.

This made atmosphere in Class D quite depressing.

Because Ryuen was their leader, but after he gave up, the whole class immediately started breaking.

Although they were following the school’s examination rules and regulations, always felt that.. had not achieved the kind of result that they could just ignore and still get huge rewards.

Moreover, in the last written test, because Ryuen no longer took action, Hiyori proposed to negotiate with Ichinose’s class.

But in the end, Hiyori only got 600,000 points per month, which means 15,000 points per person if divided equally.

But she also borrowed 1 million yen as living expenses for the month before last.

And this month, which is yesterday, because class evaluation score is still 0, everyone only received 15,000 living expenses from Ichinose class.

So there is no chance to repay the 1 million yen owed.

In other words, they are burdened with debt.

At the same time, it was already known that Ryuen still owed Hikigaya 8 million yen due to Kinoshita’s operational errors at the sports meet.

But Ryuen didn’t let them share the burden at all.

At the same time, he also gave the 1 million points borrowed from Sakayanagi to injured Kinoshita.

His responsibility is also touching.

So now they are faced with a new test, and they miss Ryuen.

Although he is very fierce and collects protection fees every month, it is undeniable that Ryuen will bear all the Damage control to protect from unknown hungry Vulture like Peter’s....

And when facing this exam, don’t know what to do.

After entering the school, Ryuen criticized this school as boring, and felt disappointed that he could not compete with the senior grades.

But now the opportunity has come, right?

“…..”

But Ryuen again said nothing.

It seems tyrant has really run out of motivation.

”Eh...” Kaneda, who was the brain trust of Class D and had infiltrated Class B as a spy, sighed. “Anyway, I’ll be in charge of this exam.”

Although he is a think tank, he can only make plain and simple suggestions in many cases.

In other words, he can only let Class D play to its strengths, and cannot use special methods to target Class A or attack B.

This is a bit annoying, but Class D can’t do anything about it.

“Shiina-san, what do you think?” But Kaneda didn’t say anything final.

In terms of using his brain, he is actually not as good as Shiina.

”Me?” Hiyori was actually also looking at the exam rules, started to dream wildly inside her mind.

Then she raised her hand, opened her mouth.

“Let’s confirm List of students who will drop out now.”

“Or try not to be Leader of a group of 6 men and 6 women.”

“Or we can prepare ourselves and arrange for students from our class to be Group leaders of 6 boys and 6 girls.”

“We will definitely end up in last place, because all the students in our class are group leaders, so one of you will drop out.”

???

Everyone looked at her in surprise.

.....Hell is always wrong with you Shiina-san!

Because it is certain that someone in their class will drop out!

“C-can’t we just not be the victims for even once?”

Although this bot doesn’t understand rules of exam very well, but knows that leader of the group that ranks last will be expelled.

He doesn’t want to be purged.

“You can’t just not be the person in charge if you don’t want to.” Hiyori decided to shut this guy’s computer before he could start to rebel.

“If no one is willing to take the risk, it is very likely that 3 students from each class will be assigned to be the person in charge. But if you do this, you might still be unlucky enough to be assigned to the last group.”

“I don’t know your name, but you can still get purged from school’s database. So it’s better to just confirm that someone in our class has dropped out.”

“And our class has an advantage. Because our score is 0, even if we deduct 300, we have nothing to lose....”

“So maybe other classes would be willing to pay us to be the person in charge.....”

“If we can get 5 or 10 million, I think it’s reasonable to arrange for our people to drop out. After all, we are still in debt....”

“So, for the list, I recommend starting with students whose overall strength is just too low, and they don’t even have face or spoken in class before. I want to choose 12 people.”

“And for those students who are unlucky enough to end up in the last group, don’t worry. We have been starving for a whole semester, and the possibility of being promoted to Class A is very low.”

“So the days ahead may not be easy. I suggest you take the 3 million yen compensation from us and leave this world....”

These words made people couldn’t help but drop jaws in true horror.

Wow!

Shiina-san, you are beautiful and elegant, but it is very rude of you to abandon your classmates!

....No one feels safe with you in our class!

Ryuen also stared with a dark expression, to be precise he always had a feeling this girl’s screws are loose inside, and could be even more dangerous.....

Kaneda was moderate, while Hiyori chose to sacrifice her companions.

Then someone immediately looked at Ryuen who was resting with his eyes closed, because although he would choose to squeeze points, he would not choose to let his classmates drop out.

But Ryuen-san is now resting with his eyes closed.

Not moving.

Exams haven’t even started yet, but Class D is already in dire straits with Shiina Hiyori’s power.

Scene returns to Class B, which has a vague configuration to Class D.

Horikita Suzune was frowning, she doesn’t like to interact with others....

“Just like the rewards for top 3,  punishment for the bottom three is very severe.”

“And Leader of the last group will be expelled, and his class will have 300 points deducted from the evaluation score.”

Such punishment made the students gasp.

Current score of Class B is 1291 points.

And here there are 125 points of Koenji Rokusuke, which means that the 1166 points that actually fall into their hands are public, and if they accidentally come in last, not only will they lose a companion, but even... deducted 300 points.

At the same time, will be a deduction of class evaluation points equal to the number of people in the group x 5.

It really makes matters worse.

At the same time, because quality of students in class is not high, if you are unlucky enough to be ranked second to last or third to last, there will be further deductions.

So, it would not be as exciting to see that first place can get a maximum of 342 points, but you may lose 400 or 500 at once.

Everyone’s living expenses will be reduced immediately.

Nowadays, almost no one wants to be in charge or is keen on taking exams.

Because penalty for losing is too severe.

“....Sensei, exam will calculate the comprehensive scores of members as groups. So is there a situation where someone is deliberately dragging our feet? If the comprehensive score of group drops and becomes the last one because of these people, is there any way to deal with it?”

But there is one person who has not given up yet.

This is Hirata-kun.

He immediately thought about what would happen if he came in last, so he almost gave up the idea of trying to get points.

But now he became worried because he knew that his classmates didn’t have a good relationship with students from other classes, so might be framed by them.

“Of course the school has taken this into consideration,” Chabashira felt a small glimpse into Hirata’s core which is going fragile, “so person in charge of the last group is allowed to designate one student to drop out. You can think of it as bundled withdrawal.”

”Well, is this possible?” Yukimura finally stood up and said, ”If I am the leader of Last group, and Ryuen is a member, can I let him drop out of school with me?”

“Of course.....”

This caused air inside the car to suddenly become stagnant.

Because this is also possible?

“Then can’t we just force the representatives of other classes to drop out? It seems somewhat acceptable....”

This is what some students think.

If Rando’s are unfortunate enough to become the person in charge, they will ask Leaders of other classes to drop out.

Even if their class is harmed and 300 points are deducted, it is still barely acceptable.

But no one is willing to sacrifice themselves for this kind of thing.
