COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

’That is, am I enjoying the present life now?How about you guy’s?’ When Hachiman was just trying to break the 4th wall again.....

Haruka has already heated up the atmosphere.

This time, Ike Kanji, who had safely passed the level thanks to his symbiotic partnership with Yukimura, also finished singing.

”How about Hikigaya next?”

“I’m not very good at singing,” Hachiman immediately said modestly.

Or rather, he really has no experience.

”Don’t be ridiculous.” Haruka didn’t like this behaviour of anti-social, “People who are good-looking can sing well!”

???

Oh Oh Oh

So, has someone finally acknowledged his good looks?

“Speaking of which, Haruka...” Hachiman did not answer the phone. ”What are you looking forward to in the future?”

”The future?” Haruka didn’t know why he suddenly jumped to this topic, if don’t you want to sing just say it to her face!

“...Yes, I want to join a company that pays well and do work.” Haruka said with a straight face, she looks very independent.

Hachiman updated his assessment of her.

“Then I met an excellent single president,” Haruka was dreaming again, “I like excellent and capable people, and it would be even better if the other party has money....”

Excuse me? Do you want to copy him?

This person is similar to him, and Hachiman’s ultimate goal in this fanfic is to be supported by a rich and outstanding person.

And thinking so.

”Hey...should I sing?”

The microphone has already been passed to Sato.

“The songs I like are quite passionate, I’m sorry,” Sato’s cheeks turned slightly red, feeling a little embarrassed.

”....you are too humble.”

’Sato is cute.

Although she usually hangs out with Karuizawa and the others, and looks like a hot girl who is not easy to mess with, after getting to know her, it turns out that apart from being a little clingy, there is nothing difficult about her.’

Hachiman thought so.

And the other person has good character.

Sato felt that she couldn’t take his test paper for nothing, so gave him a pair of gold glasses.

She is a good person.

“Well, then don’t laugh at me...” Sato took microphone.

When everyone looked over, they saw her standing up.

And the music in room started playing fiction song.

[The sadness in my heart is indescribable, lululu]

Why can’t I be the love of your heart?

[It would be great if I didn’t like you]

[I just want to hear you say that sentence in person]

[Where should my heart go]

[I cry like a lost kitten]

Good job.

’This is a love song about a broken heart. It’s really that....’ Hachiman thought she liked sweet songs.

At the end, everyone sang the theme song of ”I Want to Drive You Crazy to Death” together as the ending.

[In the soft sunlight, let the bell ring slowly]

[The breeze caresses my cheeks, calming my breathing]

[Tears that go around and around, tomorrow with a name attached, lines connecting the colors of the future]

[Whether it’s this innocent mood or the days of laughing together, I want to carefully cultivate them——]

Just like that, Hachiman had a holiday with nothing to do while spending relaxing days with his beautiful friends.

After the KTV ended, Haruka originally wanted everyone to have a meal together, but since everyone had eaten a lot in the karaoke room, no one had much appetite.

Hachiman was dragged by Suzune to continue staying in the shopping district.

The reason is that even though it’s holiday, if he still wants someone to cook for him, then please do the work.

The food in the refrigerator is gone, and Hachiman not only needs to pay half of the food expenses, but Suzune also needs help carrying things.

Forehead.

This point has not been considered.

Since there is no food without work, Hachiman has to act as Suzune’s porter.

The two bought two large bags of supplies from supermarket.

The two came back from the shopping street and walked towards the dormitory.

It was very convenient because they were in the same building.

However, at the fountain not far from the dormitory, he saw a strange scene.

Two girls who seemed quite familiar to him actually got together.

”Thank you for sending me back.” Sakayanagi Arisu was thanking Ichinose while holding her cane.

And the reason seems to be obvious.

The two of them talked and she was taken care of by Ichinose.

Probably going shopping together.

The fuck?

Two went shopping together.

Fuck! Fuck! Fu---

“But I walk so slowly, it really troubles you.” Classmate Salayanagi Arisu is just like her name, slender and sensible.

“No, I always feel that I can have a lot of fun with Sakayanagi-san,” Archangel Ichinose smiled nonchalantly, her halo is glowing so bright today.

She is truly an angel.

It’s just they are not in same class, and they are leaders of two different classes.

And now the situation is very anxious, one representative of the current Class A and the other of Former....

They are hostile elements.

“…”

Such a combination naturally feels unnatural.

Two lumps of fat above their stomach are just full of weird and contrasting on groping.

It makes people’s eyes look over unconsciously, and feel pity for Sakayanagi.

”Isn’t this Hikigaya-kun? And Horikita-san.” Ichinose did greet him, but there was nothing he could do about it because they were not far apart.

And Ichinose happened to be looking back, so it would be impossible for her to pretend not to see him.

”Hello.” Suzune, who doesn’t like to communicate with others, was very brief, just she was blindly staring at Ichinose’s bust and frowning.

“???”

“Oh, by the way, this is Sakayanagi-san. I used to think she was a scary person, but after getting to know her, my mind completely changed,” Ichinose felt weird after being stared at by Suzune, so tried to change the topic, giving more attention to Arisu Lolita.

The former leader of Class A was Sakayanagi, and Suzune knew that.

She also knows that Sakayanagi often eats with Hachiman.

Sometimes even the lunch boxes she could prepare for Hachiman were in vain.

She is a person who causes people to waste food.

”Fufu——” However, when Suzune was looking at Sakayanagi even more carefully, who just smiled lightly, gripped up her cane coldly and turned away.

Such actions make people who understand the atmosphere feel embarrassed.

Sparks are flowing.....

It’s rare for Suzune to be interested in people.

And then, before Suzune could say anything, Sakayanagi glanced at bag on Hachiman’s hands and turned around coldly.

It seems that Sakayanagi really dislikes Horikita Suzune.

Oh Oh Oh! What a newfound enemy!

”Ah——” As someone who was traveling with Sakayanagi, Ichinose had no choice but to make an apologetic expression and catch up with her.

Maybe she didn’t understand why Arisu suddenly adopted this attitude.

“....” Only Suzune suddenly had no idea what she had done wrong when she was treated like this, or rather, had never considered that Sakayanagi was unhappy with her.

Because Suzune is alone, she never thinks about whether others hate her or have opinions about her, because she doesn’t care about other people’s face....

At this time, Hachiman touched his chin.

Whether it’s from Sakayanagi’s dog Kamuro-san or from his own interactions, but Sakayanagi is the kind of person who thinks you are capable and will be very tolerant.

Like him, she doesn’t mind even having expensive meals.

And Sakayanagi is so indifferent to Suzune, which means that she has not been recognized by her yet.

Not even worthy of saying hello?

Even though Sakayanagi’s indifference did not dampen Hachiman’s old guy mood.

However, he felt that it was a rare day off, so he made an appointment with Horikita Suzune the next day.

Among the supplies purchased today, Suzune chose some free food.

These are relief funds provided by the school to students who have no money.

Can already see several poor students from Grade 1 Class D going to get them.

Looks economical though.

But Hachiman felt that it was not good for the other party to be so frugal all time.

He still took Suzune to a high-end spa for a treatment.

”Do you feel uncomfortable?” Hachiman said while drinking Assam milk tea during the break.

”I really don’t want to admit it,” Suzune’s cheeks were slightly flushed, ”This kind of massage is indeed very comfortable.”

”You’re not short of money, so you should just follow the crowd and enjoy some,” Hachiman invited her out to play as a way of compensating her.

Yes, This time’s pairing test.

Class A lost.

Horikita Suzune and Kushida made a bet together.

Among them, her brother’s identity was revealed.

At the same time, She also suffered from rumors.

Not only that, she also tried hard to seal off Kushida’s crazy methods.

But in the end, Kikyo Kushida won the bet because she bribed the people in Class C to give her test paper.

This was something Suzune had not expected.

However, in reality, it was Hachiman who helped Kushida.

Although Kushida also signed an agreement to marry him and support him after graduating from Class A in two years, he did not fulfill the bet that Suzune made with Kushida.

He replied as [If you are in a weak position, I will help you].

In this exam, Kushida was not expelled, and he got the choice of marrying Kushida.

Sakayanagi got a class evaluation score of +200, and the experience of being backstabbed by someone close to her +1.

But the person who was really hurt was Horikita Suzune.

The world is complete with only Horikita Suzune injured.

So that’s a little compensation.

“I think this is a waste of money...”

”But it’s quite comfortable, isn’t it?” Hachiman wanted her to enjoy life and not take much tension inside, ”It would be terrible to be stingy after you have money, because you don’t know which will come first, tomorrow or an accident. If the accident comes first, then will you feel happy if you have been working hard to save money and treat yourself harshly?”

In other words, Hachiman is a hedonistic consumerist.

”...” Suzune. ’I always feel that Hachiman is trying to change my consumption perspective....’

’But my brother also said that I needs to learn by being around other person, so I should try to understand him first.’

Suzune was being corrupted.
