COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

In the library.

Although final exams have already begun.

But today is still the 1st day, so imagined scene of everyone studying hard did not appear.

Hachiman also received an IOU.

[On behalf of all the students in the first-year D class, I, Shiina Hiyori, would like to borrow 1 million personal points from Hikigaya Hachiman. I will pay it back in full in three months.

Sign.]

Hachiman said there was only one reason why Hiyori would look for him.

That means Class D has no money.

After entering school, except for the 100,000 points given to Ryuen’s class in the first month, they lived a life of hunger and cold.

In preferential examination, each of them was allocated 100,000 points.

But now 2 months have passed and there is not much left.

Therefore, at beginning of this month, Class D has 0 class evaluation score and 0 income.

“Drop!”

“Your account has received 1 million points.

Previous balance is 10,000.”

“…”

Judging from the voice broadcast of money arriving in the account, Hiyori really doesn’t have much money.

“I was originally thinking about working with your class, Hikigaya-kun....The academic ability of the students in our two classes is not very good. In a normal exam, both will definitely suffer heavy losses. Therefore, the only way to avoid a situation where both sides fail is to set questions for each other and leak the exam....However, after learning about the exam rules this morning, Class C contacted me and gave us 400,000 points, allowing us to choose to play against Class B....”

In other words, Hiyori was reminding Hachiman that Arisu Sakayanagi from Class C might be planning to launch some kind of offensive.

Then let him be more alert.

But Hachiman obviously thought it was too simple. ’Because, Sakayanagi is a very decisive person. In order to gain points, she found out that I had applied for a spare mobiles from the school, so she directly took plane transporting the spare and came to the ship.It seems that Sakayanagi is now in contact with Kushida, and even wants to train her to become a spy for Class A....’

Hachiman came to the library and picked up the book he had borrowed, “I don’t think you need to remind me of this....”

Because Sakayanagi had already started attacking, she contacted Kushida directly.

Although Kushida was clever and deliberately called Hachiman during the conversation, don’t forget that during this process, Kamuro Masumi also called.

At that time, Sakayanagi was bullying Kushida, but Kamuro-san her dog was calling him.

This is no coincidence.

Rather, it is possible that Sakayanagi had already seen through methods used by Kushida’s brain and even used them in the opposite way.

Knowing that she would contact him.

So, Sakayanagi deliberately talked to Kushida in front of him.

She did this for him to hear, to make him confirm that she was moving his chess piece.

In this wave, Kushida’s performance was barely considered to be at the third level.

But Sakayanagi was definitely standing on the fifth floor.

Sakayanagi must have known that Kushida was his assistant, and now she wanted to touch her in front of the boss.

This shows that Sakayanagi Arisu is provoking him.

So will our Protagonist respond?

xxxxxxx

The people on the other side were also waiting for his response.

Kushida asked Suzune to go to her old place, but Manabu left after becoming a notary.

However, girls remained where they were.

Kushida was the first to speak.

“Just now, you actually contacted Hikigaya Hachiman secretly, right?”

“Eh...how come----” Suzune couldn’t help but open her eyes wide, ’how did she know? Or was she just trying to trick me?’

“Hachiman isn’t here!” Suzune said this in a somewhat stubborn tone.

“Of course you silly girl, I know he’s not here!” Kushida smiled very sweetly like a honey bee, it actually stung her arm, “Because he asked me out an hour ago. Right now, he’s probably alone in the movie theater. And he’s talking to you on the phone.”

“…” Suzune didn’t comment and lowered her head in silence.

“Want to ask me how I knew that?” Kushida’s pretty face showed a little pride, and she said proudly, ”Because I have been trying to call Hikigaya-kun since I met you girl, Horikita-san. But, voice on the phone kept saying that user was busy!”

If the call fails, user will be prompted that other party is busy.

Then only two possibilities.

Either he was busy or just blocked you forever!

But Kushida is very confident that her boss, Hikigaya-kun will never block her, a good person!

’So it is very likely that... he really answered someone else’s call, and in boss-kun’s social circle, the only person who could keep line busy and on phone all the time could only be you, Horikita Suzune!I caught you bitch! What a noob!’

“As far as I know, Hikigaya-kun doesn’t socialize with his friends much. He usually doesn’t talk on the phone for more than two minutes, even with girls. And you, Horikita-san,” Kushida raised her white index finger to her cherry lips and smiled faintly.

“You have been wearing Bluetooth headphones since a while ago, right? Don’t deny it, because you haven’t done any hair-lifting movements since a while ago. Is it because your hair is blocking the headphones, and you don’t want me to see it?”

“• ! •” Suzune kept her mouth shut, but her forehead looked extremely panicked.

Because her hair is long and straight, she doesn’t tie it up.

So wind blows her hair easily onto her face, and that feeling makes her very uncomfortable, so she develops the habit of lifting her hair from time to time.

During the conversation just now, she did subconsciously want to lift her hair, but she forced herself to hold it back.

Perhaps it was because of this abnormal behavior that Kushida noticed it.

“So, he could only be talking to you, Horikita-san? And he didn’t hang up the phone because he was listening to our conversation!” Kushida looked very confident, with a smile of victory on his face, and she seemed to be holding her nose high with some pride.

“That’s amazing, Kushida-san...” After a long while, Suzune couldn’t keep her mouth going cold for much longer, and said softly, ”Since you have such insight, why do you still want to bet with me?”

“You can protect yourself right, Kushida-san?” Suzune learned it from Hachiman, when couldn’t do it, make the other party a big girl.

“Haha——” In response, Kushida just chuckled. ’In fact, if I could protect myself, would have done so long ago!Instead of being discovered by Hikigaya-kun while I was kicking the railing, and then being caught by a loli, Sakayanagi Arisu! Although she probably doesn’t know the specific content of my dark history, but as long as I am promoted as excellent in all aspects, any dark history that detracts points may affect my life....’

After all, she always shows the dazzling side of a little angel in front of everyone.

Therefore, if the dark side is exposed, the impact will definitely be huge.

Arisu Sakayanagi is at least one of the representatives of the original Class A.

’She may also be the next student council president!’ Kushida didn’t think she could win at all.

’At the same time, although it is only 4th month of school, I also have to consider there may be new students next year who know about my dark history. So, necessary to add helpers!’And one I think is the most useful is... Horikita Suzune!Even though she might still regard me as a friend, but also very realistic. She only treats me as an ordinary friend. Horikita-san will definitely not do anything to help me so much. Therefore, I came up with the idea of pulling Horikita-san into my own camp as a tool to protect. Moreover, she might know dark history, which has never been discovered, so I could try it out.It really kills two birds with one stone.’ Kushida felt like she had used all of her brain cells today.

And she wouldn’t lose the bet she deliberately made.

Because she was poached by Sakayanagi and accepted her orders.

She deliberately came to mess with Horikita Suzune.

According to Sakayanagi’s suggestion, she went straight to Suzune to make a bet.

Class C is challenging Class A, so Sakayanagi will have the test papers on hand, and she can get the test papers from her.

So, Kushida can definitely get higher scores than top students like Horikita Suzune.

So in her opinion, was sure to win!

Kushida picked up Horikita Suzune as a tool to serve her for life.

And this is also bullying Suzune because she is an honest person!
