COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

”Hi, Hikigaya--” Sakura-san’s tone was somewhat excited.

Um.....Is it because he is now wearing the glasses she chose?

”Hello, Sakura.” Hachiman responded to her.

As an observer of humans, he has discovered that timid Sakura is walking next to Milf Haruka.

’Does that mean extroverted Hasebe has already conquered Sakura?Wait....In fact, these two people have many similarities. For example, if you are a big person, you will encounter some of the same problems. Both would also ask for leave together during physical education class. And the most important point is Sakura is cute, so Hasebe must have discovered that.’

After getting to know her, Hachiman discovered that Haruka was not a bad girl.

So maybe it’s a good thing for two of them to become friends.

”I, Hasebe-san and I became friends.” Sakura explained quickly when she saw Hachiman looking at her.

”That’s good.”

But Sakura wasn’t the only one here now.

”Everyone, this is such a coincidence.” Hachiman responded to Yukimura’s group, ”But isn’t Sato and Ike here?”

“Sato was asked to go by Kushida-chan,” Haruka obviously har own narratives about girls, ”As for Ike... let Yukimu tell us.”

Yukimu?

Yukimura pushed up his glasses.

”I kindly invited him to join the summer study session, but he refused because he wouldn’t be in the same group with me anymore. He wanted to stay in the dormitory and play games.” Yukimura felt a bid ugly, ”Obviously I did it for his own good, because there will definitely be exams related to written test next semester, so I wanted to help him improve his basics.”

”But that guy refused.” Yukimura seemed a little unhappy, because he and Ike were partners in the pairing test, but he was also the one who took other flying.

Because of the good results, he wanted to continue, but kindness was rejected.

”So what are you doing now--” Hachiman immediately changed the subject, ’Because Yukimura is scary too.’

He began to understand why this group of people came together.

Hachiman didn’t want to be friends with the academic master.

”I’m going to have a study session to improve everyone’s academic ability.” Yukimura pushed up his glasses, ”I was going to ask you to come along, too. But you’ll probably be with Horikita-san during the holidays, so I don’t have to worry about you.”

’.....Really, you don’t have to worry about it. Because ten minutes ago, Horikita Suzune wanted to force me to study!’

Just as Hachiman was about to reply, he heard a message alert ring from his phone.

”Eh?”

“This is a special ringtone. Could it be... a message from Horikita-san? That’s great... you guys are still so close!” Haruka, who loved gossip, looked over immediately.

“This is a message from Chabashira-sensei....”

“• ? •” x N

Chabashira-sensei, the homeroom teacher.

Haruka quickly retracted her guess because it was an offense to the homeroom teacher.

At least, in general public’s opinion, teachers are different from them and are adults.

[I’m going to be out of school for a week today. If there’s anything important, please contact Chie. This is her number]

by Chabashira-sensei.

She is leaving the school.

Now holidays, and even though she is faculty and staff, generally cannot leave the school at will.

So Chabashira-sensei probably paid the price with points.

And Hachiman also somewhat understood why she left school.

Because this class has been promoted to A once.

Her long-cherished wish was fulfilled.

’Then maybe she’ll go out and meet Hiratsuka-sensei.....’

”Can I leave school too?” Hachiman now feels that vacationing on campus doesn’t feel like okay at all, and it would be great if he could go home.

Of course, if doesn’t cost too much, he is willing to pay.

After all, he is a rich man now.

[When I leave school, I need to pay 100,000 points a day, and as a student, you need to give 500,000 points a day.

Both will also have to sign an agreement not to disclose information about the school.] by Chabashira.

“…”

500,000 a day.

So that would be 15 million in 30 days.

It can dig out all his past savings.

“Excuse me?!” Hachiman only then realized that he was not rich enough.

”Can you do me a favor?” He continued typing quickly.

[What?]

”I’m going to go find the chairman to exchange points.” Hachiman typed quickly, ”Please help me bring cash to my sister.”

[……] Chabashira didn’t respond quickly at this time.

And two minutes passed.

Her messages continued to come.

[Sure, I’ll be at the school gate at 11 o’clock.] by Chabashira.

That’s ok.

Hachiman put his phone down and found that his companions were still waiting for him, “I have something to do in the morning, so I can’t go with you.”

”If there is something wrong, there is nothing we can do.”

In fact, because Hachiman was dating Horikita-san, and Yukimura also admitted her academic ability was higher than his, he did not actually include Hachiman in the scope of tutoring.

Then he will naturally be allowed to move freely.

As a person with strong class honor, he felt that Hachiman would not be at risk in the exam, but other members of his group would almost all fail if they did not study hard.

Now the class has dropped from A to B.

He had already checked the small blackboard on first floor of teaching building in morning.

The scores of four classes had been updated.

Class fell back to B.

However, having already climbed up, he didn’t want to fall back to Class D so quickly.

So Yukimura is willing to do what he can achieve with his efforts.

He always had a strong class reputation.

After the Hachiman and Yukimura groups separated, they continued to walk deeper into shopping street.

Then he looked like he was looking for something.

Then quickly.

Found the target.

It’s a flower shop.

Although Hachiman didn’t have much experience in socializing with others, he knew that Chabashira-sensei had agreed to help, and it would be impolite for him to just ask her to go back.

At the same time, Chabashira went back to see Hiratsuka-sensei.

As for that female teacher, Hachiman was still somewhat grateful to her.

Because if it weren’t for her, he wouldn’t have been able to enter this school where he could earn 1.5 million points a month.

It can almost be said that coming here changed his life.

This is a favor of recognition.

And what the teacher liked and wanted... Hachiman also noticed it, although he couldn’t give it to her.

But she should be happy with his gift.

In this way, Hachiman walked into the flower shop and asked the clerk to help pack two bouquets of flowers.

A family restaurant on second floor opposite the flower shop.

”Kamuro-san, if you keep a straight face, you’ll get wrinkles.”

“It seems that you have been confined to your room for past few days, which has caused you trouble....”

An elegant voice came.

That was Sakayanagi Arisu who was sitting on the side just waiting to be served.

The person she was talking to was Masumi Kamuro, who was serving her the dishes.

”And I was a little inconvenienced during your three days away. After all, I’m used to you.”

“???” Kamuro-san.

Snort! Snort!

She doesn’t believe Sakayanagi’s hypocritical attitude.

Because she was released by Sakayanagi days ago, but she found there was a classmate named Yamamura beside her.

In other words, Sakayanagi said that she couldn’t live without her, but didn’t she immediately find a meal replacement?

And Kamuro-san was indeed not by Sakayanagi’s side during these 3 days.

To be precise, she was grounded by Sakayanagi Arisu.

She was asked to stay in the room for three consecutive days.

As for meals, she would arrange for someone to deliver them to her, but was not allowed to leave the room.

It was said to be a punishment for her betrayal of the class.

Actually, it’s not really a betrayal, because even though she gave the test paper to Hikigaya, her class still won over Hikigaya’s class in the end, right?

However, because of this, Kushida was retained.

However, Kamuro-san still has lingering fears about this kind of thing.

Because she was discovered just after she betrayed her secretly.

While thinking this, she continued to pour water for Sakayanagi, showing her obedience.

Otherwise, if she betrays her next time... bah, otherwise she will be excluded from Sakayanagi’s confidants.

As soon as she walked out of the room, Yamamura automatically left Sakayanagi’s side.

It was obvious that she had a higher status in Sakayanagi’s heart.

This also made Kamuro-san feel relieved.

”Um?” At this moment, Kamuro-san suddenly looked in one direction.

”What’s wrong, Kamuro-san?” Sakayanagi looked over.

”Just now I seemed to see Hikigaya Hachiman for a moment. Then I saw him enter the flower shop across the street.” Kamuro-san’s eyes were pretty sharp, whenever it comes to this guy who robbed her.

”Flower shop? Does he want to buy flowers for someone?” Sakayanagi Arisu shook her head gently, “But unfortunately, Hikigaya-kun is not such a romantic person.....”

Really, even though Sakayanagi Arisu said this, but stared at the flower shop with Kamuro-san.

About 5 minutes later, they saw Hikigaya-kun walking out of the flower shop with a bunch of bright roses in his left and right hands.

“If it’s a bouquet of flowers, maybe he wants to buy flowers for a specific person....But...If it’s two beams, then just impossible. Because it’s impossible to send two bouquets of flowers to same person in a row.” Sakayanagi’s computer-like brain was running very fast, ”So it’s probably just something superficial, not related to love or anything like that....”

In this pitiful way, Arisu tried her best to console her damaged heart.

“Ask Kushida-san what he’s doing now and whether she’ll receive flowers from Hikigaya-kun today.”

”Assign two more people to keep an eye on Horikita Suzune.”

“Hikigaya-kun has finally recovered and is going to fight me. I can’t let him fall in love.”

“You must remember this, Kamuro-san.....”

“Love makes people stupid!”

In fact, Kamuro-san didn’t want to hear who Hikigaya-kun was going to give the flowers to, or who do you think Sakayanagi will give them to?

However, after not seeing each other for three days, Sakayanagi still talked to her about all sorts of things as before, which meant that her confidante status had not been revoked.

This is good news for Kamuro-san.
