COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

“Sakayanagi-san, don’t you think you’ve gone too far? If you keep adopting this conservative approach, there will be no point in this school putting strength above all else....”

Ichinose Honami, Class A.

Arisu Sakayanagi, Class C.

“Don’t bring your melons in front of me, or I will be forced to move you away....”

Kamuro Masumi, Class C.

“...hehe,” Ichinose feels a little angry when she was being praised in such way, and thought girl was very rude to her, “Kamuro-san is a funny person.....”

“No, I am trying to control myself for not punching your br----”

“Masumi-san, you have done enough. Now, please be quiet.”

....Kamuro-san now really keeps her mouth shut.

“???” Ichinose was confused, she looked down at Sakayanagi’s face for a genuine curiosity.

“No,” Sakayanagi’s cheeks are frowning too, she didn’t like being compared to Katsuragi, “This is Katsuragi-kun’s plan, but our request is that Ichinose Honami-san, you should join us.”

“...You litt---” Kamuro-san felt she was just being tortured!

“why is it like this?!”

Ichinose’s followers immediately stepped forward to protect her, only most of them just stared at lower portion from behind, “If they want to target Ichinose, can’t they just bundle up and expel her?”

”It’s okay,” Seeing the worried look on her classmates, Ichinose just became a good girl, “If they want to be the last one and force me to drop out of school, they will also lose 300 points of class evaluation points as a penalty. So they probably won’t do that, so I’m safe...”

This statement is correct.

300 points in exchange for Ichinose.

Students in Class C may not necessarily know how to do this.

Because Ichinose has always been considered a soft persimmon, so class with Ichinose in it makes people feel at ease.

“Hello…Can you listen to me for a moment?”

At this time, a silver-haired girl from Class D finally walked out of the team.

“• •” Now Arisu stared at the girl’s hair that was really identical, her eyes went a little towards her ches----frown seems to have gotten even bigger than earlier.

Kamuro-san, who knows her best, tried her best to not laugh, “Ha--achu!”

“what’s wrong?”

“Just a mild cold....”

“Please take care of yourself, Masumi-san....”

“So you can force me to do chores?”

“• ? •” Hiyori was looking at people from original Class A with big eyes.

She looked around to find Ichinose....both eyes met, who gave her a gentle nod.

“???” Hiyori felt like she missed something very important, and couldn’t follow, but gotta do her job.

“I have understood your thoughts, you all want to be safe. And I can offer you a plan that will be stable for everyone.”

“That means person responsible for the six girls can all be from my class. At the same time, the students in my class will also be responsible for the points deducted from the school.”

”And all you have to pay is 100,000 points per person. How about this deal in exchange for your safety?” Hiyori’s voice seemed very polite, “I think everyone is willing to do that.”

“?” Ichinose felt robbed.

“....” Suzune, who remained lazy and quiet, discovered that if she followed this new girl’s plan, then first years would not have to take exam.

Means...she wouldn’t have to do any work, no more painful social interactions to get along and hug each other.

Suzune was now looking forward to this exam’s progress, and cheered for her plan being chosen!

The first-grade groups had no problems and were quickly divided, and 12 people from Class D were assigned to be in charge.

For the three classes of ABC, a life-saving talisman with 100,000 points per person is not expensive.

So be willing to pay.

Therefore, leaders of these groups went to the senior grade area and needed to form teams with.

Just like he was singled out by Nagumo before, when 6 leaders of the first-year boys went to the second year, they kicked Hikigaya from group and were not allowed to join Nagumo’s 7 and Manabu’s group 13.

That’s too much.

Hachiman’s presence was heightened again.

The first-year students’ groups are divided into of 1-6 boys.

2nd grade is for boys 7-12 groups.

3rd grade are 13-18 groups.

For girls, count starts from group 19.

More convenient.

Team that Hachiman got forced into Group 4.

Members are quite mixed.

Him, Koenji Rokusuke, Teruhiko Yukimura, Daichi Ishizaki, Albert, Komiya, Shibata, as well as Hashimoto Masayoshi from Class C and 5 random boys too.

At the same time.

Hachiman and Koenji are in the same group, and Hirata seems to have high hopes for them to get some points.

Of course, there is also hope that he can persuade Koenji to cheer up and continue to get points for the class.

It’s just that Koenji, the unexpected number one person.

If a group of people take exam together, points they get will be very few, so it is difficult to get Koenji’s muscles to take action.

Hachiman was not prepared to play.

However, this time forest exam course is quite interesting.

”Morality”

”Spiritual Exercises”

”Regularity”

”Autonomy”

This is a subject that is rarely learned.

So if possible, you can consider changing your mood and learning something else when you are tired of class...

Bullshit.

’.....Because if it’s not a written test, wouldn’t all of my hard work studying during the holiday be just wasted?’

However, this time exam is ranked based on average scores of dozens of people in group, so even if you are very strong individually, it will be useless if someone holds you back.

Because you are awesome, but your teammates gave up.

....How can one expect people to work hard?

You should know this is not just one group now, but of three grades combined, with a large one having 30-45 people.

There are too many people to control.

“It seems time for dinner as mentioned in the manual—”

Probably because of the separation, there was a commotion in the dormitory.

Students in Class C seemed very relaxed, tapping their legs or shaking their feet, and now it was a boy named Dashan who spoke.

There are no classes today, they will start next day.

Task in the morning was just to assign small groups to join the big and select the person in charge.

According to rules, students can get meals provided by the school at noon, and it will be removed at a certain time.

In the morning and evening, students have to prepare their own meals in a specific kitchen according to their groups.

However, their group also eats in the cafeteria.

Hachiman came to the cafeteria.

It was very spacious and could accommodate a large number of people.

One could overlook the first floor by walking up the stairs.

From information he browsed, it seemed this place could accommodate about 500 people, and now it was crowded with quite a lot of students.

The preliminary estimate there are probably more than 300 people.

Because cell phones were confiscated and there were so many people, it was basically difficult for anyone to find anyone, unless someone was willing to stand on the second floor and give up the opportunity to eat and keep looking at people.

Such people really exist.

Hachiman noticed there were several students standing on the 2nd floor.

They looked left and right as if they were looking for someone.

Then Hachiman found they were all staring at him.

This kind of student couldn’t possibly be from the Manabu’s University, and he had seen first-year boys before, so this should be a second-year student.

’Nagumo is really boring...’ Hachiman complained in his mind.

Mentioned his name so loudly, and then formally wanted to fight against Horikita Manabu.

But Hachiman didn’t think he was the kind of person who would act uprightly.

Hachiman speculated that Nagumo’s confrontation with Horikita Manabu this time was fake, and he really wanted to trap Manabu at this critical moment, so the person he is most wary of now is probably....

“Yo, Hikigaya!”

“Bastard, who is there?!”

???

No one was found.

???

“Is there something wrong? Did you get separated from your gro----”

Hachiman immediately left this place to find a dark seat where no one knows what just happened.

Guy who just asked regarding his well-being kept looking at Hachiman’s disappearing figure.

“It’s really inconvenient not having a cell phone,” Hachiman found an empty seat and sat down with the tray he got from queuing, feeling a little unhappy.
