Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 1094 - 595: How Should We Get Up There?

The World Tree has matured.

No one ever thought that after so much preparation, the World Tree... would mature so smoothly.

Of course, it wasn’t entirely smooth. After all, just one mistake in the previous battle could have destroyed the World Tree. Even if it wasn’t destroyed, it wouldn’t have matured this quickly.

”Xu Xin, say something! What happened in the end?”

Wen Guixin poked her head out from the treehouse behind, asking anxiously.

Only Xu Xin had the ability to see detailed information about the World Tree, so the task of monitoring its growth progress was given to him.

At this moment, Xu Xin couldn’t hide the excitement in his heart.

[World Tree: A preliminarily matured World Tree, no longer as fragile as in its juvenile and growing stages, now possesses extremely strong defensive and self-healing abilities.

Its roots have already covered a vast area, continuing to slowly expand outward.

The quality of land influenced by the World Tree’s roots will gradually improve. Any treehouse on this land will collectively possess the properties of the World Tree and can be freely transplanted. The growth rate of plants on this land will greatly increase.

At the same time, the World Tree treehouse has completed its growth and can now be entered.

Initial owners of the World Tree: Xu Xin, Xu Ying.]

...?

He is the initial owner of the World Tree?

Even Yingying is?

After a brief thought, he understood.

This World Tree, from when it was just a seed, must have been set in a special way. Once it successfully grew, he and Xu Ying would be its owners.

Only he and Xu Ying can control this World Tree.

After all, if the World Tree seed was obtained and grown by the enemy, wouldn’t that be directly aiding them?

However, the term ”initial owner” suggests that he won’t be the only owner of the World Tree.

This is just a precaution. This World Tree should have more owners and countless residents.

”Brother Xin, how is it?” Wang Lei shouted beside him.

Ji Chaoyang had already come down from the treehouse.

Xu Xin took a deep breath and turned around to shout, ”The World Tree... has matured! We’ve succeeded!”

Xu Xin’s words spread out.

After a moment of silence, the entire Crystal City burst into excitement!

”It’s matured! Really matured!”

”We’ve completely succeeded!”

”Can we already live inside the World Tree? Can we?”

”I don’t want to live in this 20 square meter prison anymore! I want a big room!”

”Do we... do we really have a place to settle down now?”

”Can we live here... I mean... live, not just survive...”

”Can we now? Can we already?”

”Sob... I don’t have to be worried all the time anymore... I... Waa—”

”Hooray! Long live the explorers! Long live the World Tree!”

Even though it was already two in the morning, everyone was overjoyed, rushing down from the treehouses and running toward the World Tree.

”Everyone, don’t rush! The ditch hasn’t been filled yet, it’s dangerous!”

Wang Lei and Zhao Xiaochuan, hearing Xu Xin’s voice, started running this way and immediately began organizing the excited crowd around them.

The trench is over ten meters deep. If they fall in head-first, they might die on the spot, requiring no treatment.

Fortunately, everyone remained rational and stopped a few meters away from the trench without getting any closer.

The trunk of this World Tree is over ten meters thick and more than two hundred meters tall, with a canopy that covers nearly two kilometers in diameter, which is quite spectacular. Hence, the maturity of the World Tree excited them.

Most people’s concept of the World Tree is still stuck on just being able to live on the World Tree, without understanding much of its other capabilities.

But just this was already incredibly good news for them.

Living on the World Tree is much safer than staying in their current small, low treehouses!

Basically, there’s no need to worry about dangers anymore!

This means that they can finally sleep soundly!

”Everyone. We’ve succeeded.” At this point, Ji Chaoyang said to the crowd outside the trench, ”Now that the World Tree has just matured, we still need to verify its strength and explore the inside of the World Tree.

Since we know the World Tree has matured, there’s no need for everyone to stay on edge. You can all have a good night’s sleep.

By the time you wake up tomorrow morning, perhaps you will all be able to live inside the World Tree and no longer have to be afraid.”

Ji Chaoyang’s tone wasn’t particularly passionate, just very normal.

But this tone made those around him completely at ease. Since he stated it as a fact, telling everyone there’s no need to worry.

No, he was indeed stating a fact.

At this point, Xu Xin also spoke up: ”Everyone, go rest. Leave the rest to us, the explorers. Starting tomorrow, this will become our truly own new home.”

The words of Xu Xin and Ji Chaoyang didn’t send everyone back to rest but made them even more excited.

”Great, really great!”

”A new home! My god, I’m going to cry!”

”I’ve already started crying, sob... sob...”
