Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 1075 - 588: We Must Protect the World Tree! (Part 2)

And now, it, along with its two children, is taking revenge on the group of pangolins that once ostracized it.

It’s also a way to vent some of its grievances.

Xu Xin said to Qin Fu, ”Keep an eye on the situation and direct them; I’m worried they might miss some.”

If they miss one or two, it could be dangerous.

”Got it, I understand.” Qin Fu responded immediately.

Then, Qin Fu quickly climbed down from his treehouse, went to the edge of the ravine, took a look down, and then leapt into the ravine.

Every time the Consort emerged from the ground, he could communicate and direct, trying to make sure the Consort and the two small pangolins took the most direct route to their target.

Xu Xin also quickly informed the other explorers of the situation.

Ji Chaoyang: ”I saw Qin Fu go down. If that’s the case... then there should be no problem.”

Xu Xin: ”Don’t worry, I’ve already got Qin Fu leading the way. Everything below should be fine soon.”

Wang Lei: ”Then we shouldn’t worry about what’s happening below, right? We should quickly think of a plan, those Tyrannosaurus are almost here!”

In the distance, the Tyrannosaurus were still slowly marching over, but an entire group of over a hundred Tyrannosaurus was really intimidating.

This was way more intimidating than an ordinary beast herd!

Just looking at them was enough to take your breath away.

Meanwhile, within the [Crystal City Survivors] group, everyone was discussing the impending crisis.

”They’re so slow, why so slow?”

”Look down on us, huh? They think by coming slowly, it’s more intimidating.”

”What? They’re just conserving energy, right? Running this distance would be exhausting.”

”You all... How can you be so calm! That’s a group of Tyrannosaurus! And they have blood markings on them!”

”Are they crazy! Blood-marked Tyrannosaurus! There’s no way to fight that!”

”Beast giant herd... this event is unbelievably hard!”

”What event, we’re independent now! This is from another region, we’re free now!”

”Come to think of it, we haven’t heard that mysterious voice for a long time.”

”Damn it, can you not be so calm, what are we going to do next!”

”Why panic? Trust the explorers, I’m not worried at all, I’ve got some explosive bolts, watch me blow their eyes out!”

”Shouldn’t it be called dragon eyes?”

”No way, can the explorers handle this scene?”

”Why haven’t the explorers said anything for a while now, can’t they really handle this...”

”If they can’t handle it, they can’t handle it. We can just hide in the Crystal buildings, we won’t die, what’s there to be afraid of? With the explorers and Crystal City around, even without the World Tree, we can start again!”

”...True enough, even just the Crystal City is way better than the environment I was in before.”

”Sigh, but it’s such a shame if the World Tree gets destroyed like this...”

It seems the people in Crystal City weren’t as panicked as Xu Xin imagined.

It made sense, they have survived countless life and death situations, and now with the assurance of Crystal City, it guarantees their survival, so they really have nothing to fear now.

However, from their words, it’s clear that even the loyal explorers don’t really believe they could handle these over a hundred mutant prehistoric beasts.

Especially mutant prehistoric beasts!

But...

They can’t give up!

Xu Ying had told him how important the World Tree was.

She also said she would come back once the World Tree matured.

Clearly, this World Tree is a vital safeguard.

Without this World Tree, they might revert to the previous state of being monitored and controlled!

Crystal City only gives them the ability to protect themselves, but only by letting this World Tree grow can they really have the capital to stand in this world a thousand years later.

Even the enemy’s reaction could tell, by uniting all survivors from other regions, even at the cost of deploying such a powerful force, ruining all previous rules, they are desperate to destroy this World Tree...

It’s evident how much of a threat this World Tree poses to them!

So, the World Tree must be preserved!

But, what should they do.

Hundreds of mutant prehistoric beasts...

This overwhelming disparity in strength...

...They can only fight with all their might!

”Crack!” Another hole was drilled in the ravine, and the Consort threw out another pangolin, blood and cries splattering.

This was already the seventh one it had thrown out.

With Qin Fu’s help, the Consort was catching other pangolins at an incredible speed, basically diving down for a dozen seconds before tossing one up.

The pangolins that were affected had mostly woken up by now.

They looked up towards the ravine’s top, uttering friendly cries.

Clearly, they’ve become allies now.

”These pangolins might help us turn the tables.” At this moment, Ji Chaoyang suddenly said in the group.

Wang Lei: ”Pangolins? These pangolins that just switched sides?”

Wen Guixin: ”How can they help?”

”Let the pangolins drill the ground surface, making it prone to collapsing.” Xu Xin also thought of this, so he immediately said in the group, ”For Tyrannosaurus weighing over ten tons and standing on two feet, this kind of ground is the perfect trap!”
