Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 736: Chapter 473: Let’s Heal the Injuries First (5,000 Words)

The backside of the planet...

”I can now be sure that I am on the backside of this planet.” Shi Wanyun propped up her body, stood up from the ground, and looked around.

The astonishing scenery around impacted Xu Xin’s vision.

”...I even feel like you are on another planet.” He rubbed his head, feeling a bit overwhelmed with information, ”Are you sure you’re still in our world?”

Shi Wanyun was about to say something when suddenly, beside her, a giant crocodile with numerous blood-red patterns slowly crawled past.

Her face changed immediately, she didn’t dare to speak, didn’t dare to move, only her eyeballs dared to turn slightly towards that direction.

This crocodile was enormous, approximately seven or eight meters long, and the red patterns densely covering its body displayed its power: a high-level mutated creature.

This crocodile was not a behemoth.

It was like the high-level mutated creature statues Xu Xin had seen in the underground world before: although its body was massive, it shouldn’t be a behemoth because...

These creatures are naturally this size!

This must be a saltwater crocodile!

The largest reptile on Earth, some adult male saltwater crocodiles can exceed seven meters long!

”Hmm...” Keke watched the video image without screaming, obediently leaning against Xu Xin’s chest and blinking her eyes.

Because of Shi Wanyun’s movement just now, the saltwater crocodile was attracted over.

Fortunately, she remained completely still and once again lost presence in the crocodile’s eyes.

The big creature crawled past her and jumped into a river not far behind her.

”Whew...” Both Shi Wanyun and Xu Xin let out a breath.

Just watching the scene on the video made them sweat for her!

He now realized that the location where Shi Wanyun was standing was unimaginably dangerous.

Such high-level mutated saltwater crocodiles were everywhere around her!

All around her, there were high-level mutated creatures!

”Are you sure you’re not in another world over there?” Xu Xin couldn’t help but ask.

There’s a possibility that she’s on another planet.

Since the Blood Pattern Race could invade this planet, they could naturally invade other planets too.

That place seemed like it had been completely colonized by the Blood Pattern Race.

Shi Wanyun’s body slightly sagged, leaning on the tree trunk behind her, then she squinted her brows slightly, let out a light hum, and stood up straight again: ”Of course, I can be sure of that. If it were another planet, I wouldn’t be able to contact you. Besides...”

She turned the camera towards another direction in the sky.

Over there was an endless prairie.

At the horizon’s end, Xu Xin saw several purple-black beams of light shooting diagonally from the sky.

Those purple-black beams, though not bright, were extraordinarily prominent: even across half the planet, they could still be seen.

”Those should be the Transmission Array we unlocked, right?”

Yes, indeed.

”...So how did you end up over there?” Xu Xin asked the crucial question.

”...It’s a long story.” Shi Wanyun sighed, ”I’m in the middle of a...triggered activity, lasting 48 hours, and now 30 hours have passed, leaving 18 hours, time is still ample.”

Triggered activity!

Xu Xin’s brow slightly twitched.

He was very familiar with this.

Their snow mountain climbing and underground exploration were also triggered activities.

Calculating back 30 hours...

It was shortly after they entered the underground world.

”I will tell you everything I’ve experienced. I also hope you can keep your promise.”

Shi Wanyun glanced around, hid between the crevice of the tree trunk and bushes, and began to recount her experience.

At that time, she connected with another Transmission Array in Area 1 and sent an invitation to establish a relationship with Area 188.

After receiving the reply from Area 188 to ”consider for a day,” she didn’t have anything else to do, so she planned to return to the treehouse.

It was then she received a distress message.

It was from her neighbor, one of those who helped her activate part of the Transmission Array through shortcuts.

”Help me! My treehouse is surrounded!”

This was the message she received.

And no matter how she inquired, the other person never responded again.

Even calls couldn’t be connected.

Because the Transmission Array’s location was not far from the treehouse of the person calling for help, and the snow layer in Zone 1 hadn’t completely melted, Shi Wanyun immediately set off on a snowboard towards that person’s treehouse.

Even if she couldn’t save him, she had to see what was happening! That’s what she thought at the time.

As a result, when she arrived at that person’s treehouse, it seemed like nothing had happened around.

Even on the ground, where the partly melted snow lay, there were only that person’s own snowboard tracks and footprints.

At the time, she even thought it might have been a prank by the person.

But she still cautiously stayed a distance away from the treehouse and then tried contacting the treehouse owner.

In the end, the treehouse owner still completely failed to respond.

The treehouse was full of life and hadn’t gone into critical condition, indicating the owner was still alive.

If it wasn’t a prank, then there was only one possibility.

The treehouse owner was taken elsewhere.

But...

She carefully observed the surroundings of the treehouse again.
