Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 706: Chapter 463: Trying to Talk with the Soft Big Guy (4600 words)_3

”Brother Chaoyang originally intended to return to the main vine once, but found that all the giant beasts within four or five kilometers of the main vine cluster were in turmoil, so he couldn’t make it back and ended up here with Wang Lei.”

So that’s how it was.

”And the three of them now...” Xu Xin rubbed Keke’s little head as she slept in his arms and asked.

”They’re all still over with Wang Lei, they haven’t left because shortly after they arrived, we saw the signal flare you sent,” Zhao Xiaochuan explained. ”At that time, we knew it had to be you and Sister Fei’Er here, so Brother Chaoyang suggested I return, take your bracelet, and remove Wang Lei from the encirclement of the giant beasts and stone statue creatures, and bring them back to the main vine cluster.”

Xu Xin nodded.

This matched the solution he was thinking of.

He removed the bracelet directly from his wrist and handed it to Zhao Xiaochuan, then warned him, ”Silver King Mimi and the others are inside, don’t let them out once you’re outside.”

”Alright! Brother Xin, do you want to come with me for a visit and take a look at the situation?” Zhao Xiaochuan asked.

”No need.” Xu Xin shook his head and glanced back at the main vine cluster. ”I still need to take a look at things over here.”

With that, he briefly explained the situation here to Zhao Xiaochuan.

Zhao Xiaochuan was very happy at first because they found a way out, then puzzled, ”Huh? A group of stone statues wants to go out with us? This, this, this...”

”You go out and bring the others back first, we’ll gather here, I’ll think of a plan for this side.”

”I’ll also help think of a plan,” Lou Fei’Er raised her hand, ”The method I just thought of isn’t bad.”

”Method? What meth... Never mind, I’ll go get them first!” Zhao Xiaochuan didn’t ask any more questions, glanced at the main vine cluster, turned around and left, saying as he walked, ”Then I’ll be off first, Brother Xin, I’ll give your bracelet back to you when I return.”

Quickly, he dashed into the vine thicket outside.

”So, what should we do now?” Lou Fei’Er glanced at the time, ”Now, we only have four hours left. By the time they all return, there might be only three hours remaining.”

Xu Xin frowned deeply too.

He looked to the side, aside from asking Xiaohong a question, Long Yin hadn’t spoken again.

At this moment, Long Yin’s eyes were flickering with red light as he looked at the main vine cluster.

”...I think I know what that big guy needs!” The red light in Long Yin’s eyes suddenly flared, then he turned to look at Xu Xin, ”The giant beast, that big guy, needs the giant beast!”

Giant beast?!

Xu Xin and Lou Fei’Er were equally startled.

”Each time a giant beast steps into the trap and falls in, it helps to swallow the giant beast and transfer it to our prison.”

”Moreover, the transferred giant beast becomes weak for several days each time.”

”It must have done something, right?” Long Yin speculated.

”Also, recall the mysterious voice that gave us organizers a task, and one requirement was to fill up the prison before you could get the key to the underground warehouse.” Long Yin continued, ”Is it also because the big guy below needs it?”

Xu Xin and Lou Fei’Er exchanged glances.

The soft, large creature below needs giant beasts?

It should be a giant beast itself too, right?

”Now that we think about it, since the giant beasts stopped stepping near this main vine, this big guy has become more temperamental day by day. Perhaps that’s the reason? However, this is purely a guess, I can’t guarantee it.” Long Yin said.

”...Maybe I can verify something.” Xu Xin grabbed Keke’s big tail, kneading it as he spoke softly.

”Huh? How would you verify?” Lou Fei’Er looked at him.

He almost forgot about his new ability.

Mind reading.

If he could read the big guy’s mind, then perhaps...

He could communicate with this big guy!

There’s a possibility they might get its help!

”Let’s go down first... Ah, how do we go down now?” Xu Xin looked at the gaps in the main vine cluster.

Now, that gap is no longer accessible downward.

”Going down is quite simple.” Long Yin pointed to the ground, ”Just step into a trap and fall through. However, now the big guy below has awakened, and its mood is clearly not good.”

”...No choice, we have to try. We can’t take those stone statues out.” Xu Xin shook his head, then asked, ”Will stepping into a trap and falling down cause unconsciousness?”

”Yes. But I can control the bugs inside to shut down.”

Xu Xin nodded.

Then go down there first, and try to chat with this soft big guy.
