Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 734: Chapter 472 Shi Wanyun’s Request (5200 Words)_2

However...

”We... have purple-level meteorite ore, right? Can purple-level meteorite ore be smelted using blue-grade fuel?”

”Hmm, it can indeed, but...” Li Wenxi said awkwardly, ”The blue-grade coal I have isn’t even enough to smelt one piece of purple-level meteorite ore.”

Then, Li Wenxi explained a little to him.

It turns out, to smelt purple-level meteorite ore with blue-grade coal requires a full twelve hours to produce one piece.

But Li Wenxi only had eight pieces of blue-grade coal.

One piece of blue-grade coal can only maintain an hour of smelting, and the total fuel she had could only sustain eight hours of smelting.

”Isn’t blue-grade wood suitable?” Xu Xin asked, a little troubled.

Is this the pain of having high-grade materials but being unable to use them?

”No, not at all. Wood requires even higher standards because wood itself is not a qualified smelting material. The temperature is insufficient, even using my furnace, you need wood of the same grade, and even then it’s barely okay, and the time doubles.”

The same grade of wood doubles the time...

In other words, purple-level meteorite ore requires purple-grade wood to smelt, and it has to continue for 24 hours to produce one piece!

That’s just ridiculous!

This thing really shouldn’t be something they should be dealing with at this stage!

However... if it can really be smelted...

”...You should prioritize smelting steel blocks first, let’s put this thing aside for now.” Xu Xin said, feeling a bit of a headache.

The metals that made up that underground prison, and the metals of those rooms they had encountered before, should be this meteorite, right?

This seems to be the key metal commonly used by the Blood Pattern Race.

”Hmm... Let me try using purple-grade wood first, I still have some in my hands. Hey Xu Xin, do you think if your pangolin digs underground, the coal deeper down might be of a higher grade?”

”...It’s worth a try.”

Xu Xin had already reached the edge of the mineshaft and looked into it.

The mineshaft had been expanded quite large, but it wasn’t very deep.

”I’ll head over now!”

Li Wenxi was very interested in this new metal and planned to come over right away.

”Aren’t you going to manage your mining team?”

”Over there, I’ll let them dig by themselves with Yajun leading them. I’m more interested in this new metal right now.”

Returning to the treehouse, Li Wenxi had already arrived.

She greeted Xu Xin briefly, then immediately took her pangolin Lovely to Xu Xin’s mine.

Xu Xin pondered slightly.

He had the ability to discover alchemical materials, but surely there were no such mineral spots around his and Li Wenxi’s treehouses.

But he remembered that Qi Xuefei had an alchemical mineral spot, although he had been occupied with other things lately and hadn’t lacked materials, so he had forgotten about it.

Perhaps, they could develop that mineral spot.

Sitting on the sofa, Keke, who had been left at home, jumped onto his lap with a ”ying” sound, and the egg rolled to his foot.

Xu Xin casually checked the alliance communication channel.

Everyone seemed to be chatting happily, and in his private messages, there were private chats from other top players in Zone 1.

Xu Xin clicked on Shi Wanyun’s private message again.

She still hadn’t replied.

That phrase ”Help!” really made Xu Xin’s heart itch.

What on earth was happening on her side?

He was more than willing to help Shi Wanyun. After all, she’s a lone wolf, best to bring her over sooner.

But she was still silent, and Xu Xin had no way to help, not knowing how to provide assistance at all.

With a sigh, Xu Xin was about to chat with other strong players in Zone 1, when suddenly a message popped up on the screen.

Here it comes!

”Weapons, please!”

It was another very brief message.

Did she mean for him to give her a weapon?

Xu Xin’s mind instantly filled with scenarios of her current predicament.

At this moment, Shi Wanyun was trembling, hiding somewhere, not daring to move, not even daring to make a sound, not even daring to activate her watch, afraid the light from the projection would alert nearby enemies.

She could only stay hidden, waiting for the right moment, and once the enemies stopped paying attention to her, she’d immediately activate her watch to send messages to Xu Xin.

However...

She definitely wasn’t in her treehouse, right?

So, if she wanted him to trade weapons with her, could she receive them?

Or was her watch the same as his, capable of trading as a purple-grade watch?

Xu Xin suddenly remembered seeing discussions about Shi Wanyun in Zone 1 on the world channel, saying she was ranked first in the entire zone.

And the purple-grade watch was the reward for being first in the exploration event.

That must be right, her watch is the same as his, both being purple-grade watches!

But... weapons are not something to give away casually.

Even if he wanted to give them, he wouldn’t know what type of weapon Shi Wanyun needs now.

Melee or ranged?

If her situation was as he imagined, what she needed most right now might not be a weapon.

But... a...

[Concealment Cloak]!

If she had a Concealment Cloak, they might be able to communicate!

However...

The Concealment Cloak is a product of Zhao Xiaochuan’s ability and is one of the explorers’ trump cards.
