Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 730: Chapter 471 Alliance (4600 words)

”You all actually made it!” Lou Fei’Er exclaimed in surprise.

She had already explained the situation to Jin Yue, and handed over the equipment to her.

Jin Yue also retreated to the transmission gate after everyone jumped out from it, silently conjured a portal leading to the coordinates of the snow mountain, and directly stepped inside, disappearing from everyone’s view.

”This matter actually requires all six of us to be present to approve.” Wen Guixin looked at the purple-black light beam arch in the distance, somewhat impatiently. ”What a hassle.”

”There’s no other way. All six of us are activators. If even one of us disagrees, the connection can’t be established.” Wang Lei yawned; he had just woken up.

”Huh? Brother Xin, why is there another beautiful woman here?” Zhao Xiaochuan asked in surprise, looking at the transmission gate where Jin Yue disappeared.

”Yeah, it seems like she wasn’t among the previous people who came, right?” Wen Guixin was also a bit puzzled. ”What is she going to do? She’s so tall...”

”The person from District 188 whom we rescued earlier,” Xu Xin replied. ”I let her go to climb a snow mountain.”

”Do we still need to climb a snow mountain?” Zhao Xiaochuan asked in confusion. ”Isn’t there enough people climbing the snow mountain now? Just disperse some purple-grade red berries and let them find shortcuts themselves.”

”It’s good for us to master a few more transmission arrays.” Ji Chaoyang interjected. ”Alright, let’s end the chit-chat and quickly head to the transmission array.”

Soon, they arrived at the transmission array located just one kilometer away.

On the way, through Ji Chaoyang’s explanations, everyone understood the current situation.

Firstly, something they all knew was that District 1 had already sent a connection request to them.

Simultaneously, District 23 and District 5 had also sent connection requests.

These two areas also connected two transmission arrays, qualifying them to establish links with other districts.

Strangely, however, among the survivors in these three regions, there seemed to be no personal chat or trading like before, according to the current world channel perspective.

This means that so far, there hasn’t been any mutual connection between District 1, District 23, and District 5.

Most survivors aren’t even clear about the pinned information on the trading platform.

Something seems odd about this.

Are they all waiting for District 188 to connect with them?

Quickly, they arrived at the massive pit near the transmission array and jumped into it, reaching the purple-black light beam.

”Let me go first.” Xu Xin nodded at the others and directly stepped into the light beam.

District 188 map emerged.

Like the previous time, a request appeared before him.

Requests from District 1, District 23, and District 5 respectively.

As he anticipated.

Approving these three areas would do.

Besides, there’s nothing much that needed handling.

He stepped out from the light beam, and the others entered one by one to give their approvals.

It was rather easy and quick, as the activator had to be present.

The last one was Lou Fei’Er.

”You’re sure everyone agreed, right?” Lou Fei’Er asked before stepping in.

”Confirmed. Go approve,” Xu Xin nodded.

What reason could they have to refuse?

Strengthening alliances is essential for survival in this world.

Moreover, explorers have long stopped considering regional conflicts.

The gap between other regions and District 188 is widening, and it seems unlikely for other regions to overtake them.

The Matthew Effect is manifesting.

The strong become stronger, the weak weaker, leaving only one option for the strong to swallow the weak.

Especially in this world, where the fate of the weak is only death; it’s better to find a way to join the strong.

Hence, District 188 should think about recruiting strong individuals from other regions instead of focusing on regional conflicts.

Connecting the regions is a very good start!

”Alright!” Lou Fei’Er stepped into the purple-black light beam.

The others surrounded the light beam, waiting for the result.

”Hey, if we establish contact with them, can we achieve teleportation between us?” Zhao Xiaochuan asked as he looked at the dozens of towering purple-black light beams around him.

”... The introduction of relationship establishment didn’t mention it.” Ji Chaoyang shook his head.

Indeed, the mysterious voice at that time only mentioned that connection would result in the treehouse system’s intercommunication.

Survivors from both regions could chat privately as if they were in the same area, and join the same group chat.

Xu Xin also nodded: ”Since it wasn’t mentioned, at least for now, it’s unlikely, but... it doesn’t mean it won’t be possible in the future.”

He looked at the surrounding purple-black light beams rising.

He couldn’t believe that these individual, unconnected transmission array light beams would serve no purpose after this winter season.

Just then, a leg emerged from the light beam, and Lou Fei’Er stepped out.

”Um... Everyone, there seems to be a little problem...” Lou Fei’Er said, a bit embarrassed.

A little problem?

”What’s wrong? Can’t establish the connection?” Xu Xin asked.

”Connecting is possible, but... it seems we can only connect with one region.”

Only connect with one region?

The five exchanged glances.

Lou Fei’Er walked over to Xu Xin’s side, a bit troubled: ”After I agreed to District 1’s request, another prompt appeared saying, [Are you sure you want to establish a connection with District 1? If confirmed, you will not be able to connect with other regions.] I didn’t dare to decide on my own, so I came out.”
