Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 1398: Chapter 1188: Four-Pronged Offensive, Battles on All Fronts

”An He? War God?” Lansendel asked in confusion, ”Shouldn’t it be the Mulholland Divine King, the one called Lei?”

Shaer shook her head: ”No, it’s An He.

He’s formed from the remnants of the consciousness of the former Mulholland Divine King, you haven’t forgotten that, have you?

The one Gewoosh eliminated... From Enser’s side came some Divine Soul, but Mulholland brought the whole family!

Wasn’t he killed and immediately reincarnated back to Mulholland?

A part of the Divine Power crystallization was left behind and became the War God An He.

No wonder.

Ha~ Because he was a Deity formed in Toril, although not our native Deity, it’s still quite easy for him to sneak into Toril.

Hmph~ No wonder Xaries had issues, no wonder Marla lost to Sebek!

The current Divine King Lei doesn’t have the ability to control Xaries.

Although his soul contains some will of the former Divine King, reincarnation is reincarnation.”

Shaer stood up lightly, with a look of disdain: ”Back when I devoured Xaries, I saw some memories related to Mulholland.

This pantheon, although it seems to have many Deities, the Divine King’s power is supreme. Even the Goddesses married into it will heed their husband’s word due to the pantheon’s nature.

Xaries acted out so recklessly because she first felt what true freedom was.

That cat-like Goddess used to live every day chained, of course, she would hate it when she thought of that side, and refuse to return, even if it meant giving up her Divine Position in Mulholland.

Unexpectedly, after all these years, Xaries has merged with more than one facet in Toril, and almost couldn’t escape An He’s control.

Ha~

This guy couldn’t accept being controlled in Mulholland, so he wanted to come to Toril to rebuild his Mulholland pantheon!

Ha~ I mentioned, during the last Multiverse Gods meeting, Lei was clearly invading another Universe... an invasion of a Universe usually takes at least a millennium.

How could he have the audacity to invade Toril simultaneously!

Turns out it’s not the entire Mulholland pantheon, no wonder AO didn’t react.

The old man is truly cunning! He planned to use someone else’s plot to train his own Deities!”

Lansendel hesitated for a moment and looked at the giant screen, saying: ”I was saying, Mulholland generally likes to advance together, how come this time just these two are fighting from start to finish.”

”I’ve heard that as long as a Goddess acknowledges the Divine King as her husband, she will be influenced, right?” Celene said a bit confusedly, ”But, that’s our Toril’s Goddess of Magic!

AO wouldn’t allow such circumstances!”

”He never planned to permanently control Mystra.” Lansendel suddenly spoke, ”The best outcome is Mystra giving him a child.

If that doesn’t work, she could simply make a vow, like never using conflict from emotions to act against the Mulholland God System, and that would suffice?

At that point, the Mulholland pantheon has already secured footing in Toril through Mystra... the Earthbound Deities, who can do anything?

Across at Anmur... isn’t it open for occupation?

If Mystra truly wanted to take over this country, the Undead Tribe... probably wouldn’t interfere, would they?

Shaer, what do you say?”

Shaer sat down with furrowed brows: ”Ha~ you’re wrong.

If Edna were truly controlled, the Undead Tribe would go amok attacking Mulholland.”

Celene tilted her head asking: ”Shouldn’t William have the final say?”

”The Undead Tribe is a guest invited by Teraxil,” Shaer turned to her, ”Normally they follow the host, but if they went absolutely berserk, without affecting the host, the host wouldn’t be so harsh to the guests.”

Celene was about to ask but then abruptly turned her head: ”List! Can the livestream at sea open a second line? The other Undead Tribe fleet.”

”Yes, ma’am.” With List’s gentle voice, the giant screen opened a fourth panel.

In the middle was Edna’s battle, on the left was the ever-growing Night Ghost Hag, while two on the right showed side by side: the double-headed bug still being blocked by crabs, and... the Sahua Fishmen blocked by sharks filling the strait.

”My heavens!” Lansendel leaped up suddenly, wings flapping, tracing a strange curve in the air, ”Is this Ambori?”

He landed with a puzzled face, almost unable to maintain his peacock form, entirely turning into light: ”What’s going on in this world?”

”Hmm...” Celene was also a bit lost, ”Though it’s not the first time seeing her human form, the first time seeing... such a lady-like image!”

Though still quite fierce, for Ambori who usually dressed in tatters and counted shells as ornaments, this image was simply breaking the limits of All Gods.

”Rose turned to shit.” Shaer commented indifferently, ”Ambori became human, Heim mounted Cyric.

This Path of Destiny truly deserves eternal commemoration.”

”Wait, the crabs let someone go.” Celene exclaimed lightly, ”No, they only released the double-headed bug, that guy suddenly flew up, charging towards the Dimensional Space!

The Night Ghost Hag seems ready to explode.

Hmm?

Why is Hydra rushing over too? Shaer.”

”Of course she has to rush over!” Shaer’s tone held a hint of excitement, ”Her Divinity is linked to Darkness and Fear, sea creatures following Underdark deities like Hydra, can just take over!”

”Ah...” Celene finally recalled, ”Right oh~ Nominally she follows that giant lizard, while Underdark can indeed connect with the Old Witch.

You’re trying to utilize that Power of Darkness to seal Divinity, saving quite a bit of effort.”

Then she belatedly said, ”What about the Double-headed Baboon? Does he also want to ascend to godhood?”

”He has no interest in the Prime Material Plane.” Shaer gazed at the giant screen, murmuring, ”But he is very interested in the Blood War.

Between the Abyss and Hell, the Bottomless Abyss is more invested in the Blood War.

If he devours a Hell lord attempting to become a deity, upon returning, he would certainly receive more rewards from the Abyss.

Perhaps he could even eliminate competitors like Six Fingers in one fell swoop!”

”Huh?” Celene tilted her head, ”So the Undead Tribe didn’t stop him because they have a grudge against Six Fingers?

That crab’s blue wall doesn’t seem incapable of defending against the sky.”

”Ha~” Shaer raised an eyebrow, ”I think they hate the Double-headed Baboon even more.”

”What do you mean?” Celene asked, puzzled.

”Did you forget about Manks?” Lansendel felt that Celene’s memory might be worse than an amoeba’s, as if out of sight means out of mind, ”Though the Lord of Hell was chasing Safras, he can appear in Dimensional Space anytime!

He deliberately went over there just now, clearly leaving a memory marker!

Why else would he go there?

Is it possible he went to ask the Undead what game they were playing?”

”If it were me, seeing the Undead like that, I would go ask.” Celene replied indifferently.

”I would too!” Lansendel admitted honestly, ”But I don’t think the Lord of Hell would be as bored as me.”

Shaer gently turned her head; communicating with these two was less valuable than seeking out Ambori.

”Ambori?” A huge great white shark swimming among hundreds of thousands of Sahua Fishmen suddenly transformed into a human form.

Sekola, though he preferred the form of a giant shark in the Mortal Realm, felt it was easier to use a human mouth when faced with an opponent in this unusual form, as he rarely had so much to say.

”What shocked you?”

The enormous fishman’s shoulders were adorned with purple giant conch shoulder guards, with a purple sash wrapped around his waist. Sekola once thought this attire was quite refined for a Sea God, considering Ambori could show up clad in seaweed.

But today, the Ambori he saw seemed as if he had been devoured by someone.

”Strange, the aura is still the same?” Sekola muttered to himself, ”Did you let someone devour you right after Talos died?

Hmm? Speak, Ambori!

Or are you still Ambori?

Could it be that new little goddess from elsewhere?

Then why devour Ambori? Isn’t he stinky?”

Initially, Ambori was stepping on a shark with a smile, but he suddenly erupted in anger: ”*****! Sekola, what nonsense are you spouting?”

”So it is still Ambori...” The God of Sahua Fishmen drooped his head dispiritedly, ”I thought the Toril Ocean suddenly mutated!

Turns out they’re all just mad.

Tsk! Stop pretending! Seaweed suits you better.”

Ambori roared, and a gigantic wave crashed directly toward the fish head opposite him.

”Sekola and Ambori, what a match made in heaven!” Celene suddenly muttered.

Lansendel shuddered, ”Are you dazed from recent events? Celene! Don’t say such terrifying things!

If that becomes reality, who will pay for my eyes?

You?”

Celene looked around, dramatically extending a finger toward the giant screen, ”Edna seems very focused on that Soul Flower~

Ah... the crocodile and the cat have discovered it and are trying to attack.

Edna seems a bit flustered, why doesn’t she just put it away?”

Shaer pondered, ”Hmm?

Could it be...”

”(⊙o⊙) Wow!” Lansendel’s roar interrupted her, ”Kranvo!

Why is he here?

This clearly mimics Edna!

She hasn’t even admitted she’s Midnight...

And the two Ednas could clearly handle it!

Why did he rush out to save someone?”

Edna looked at the burly black-haired man with eyes fixed on the Immortal’s Visit, helplessly saying, ”Can we deal with these two first?”

”Don’t worry! I’ll come help too!” A cheerful voice came from the sea.

”Veil...? Kranvo?” Eyes almost unable to leave the tip of Edna’s fingers, Kranvo glanced lightly, swung his scythe, and directly knocked the cat flying, landing precisely... in front of the maritime god’s feet.

Then the towering Grim Reaper directly charged towards the Crocodile Head, seemingly intending for a swift and decisive battle.
