Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 1353: Chapter 1143: Hill Returns to Agleya

Fran keenly received a tentative greeting from the Undead Tribe commander.

’Snow Cloud Peak’ is not asking for merely the Light of Defense that can last until returning to Agleya; he is actually subtly inquiring if they could hitch a ride back home.

Although it was somewhat subtle, Fran could still understand... If Fran agreed, everyone would be happy.

But if Fran deemed it inappropriate, he only needed to inform them that the seven-colored light was sufficient to support their quick return to Agleya.

After all, everyone knows that although expensive, the temporary carriages of the Undead Tribe are indeed fast enough.

Fran actually placed great importance on these little creatures... He also wanted to know if there was a way to remove the dark hands from the Magical Beasts over at Teraxil, so after consulting Purwell, he straightforwardly agreed.

Though there were quite a number of these little creatures, on Toril, aside from the Demon Army, there really wasn’t anyone who could talk about numbers with the Undead Tribe.

So even though they got scolded for putting herbivores and carnivores in the same room... This group of little fellows was already panicking due to the current changes, with most screaming miserably. If real predators were placed next to their cages, they might get scared to death before reaching their destination... But the task was quickly completed.

Although Purwell was much larger than an ancient giant dragon, the harness the Undead Tribe used for the Cloud House was automatically extendable, making it easy for the Otherworldly Whale to fit in.

Once everything was ready, Hill, who had been standing by the Elemental Waterfall, easily flew back... He had been excavating an underground waterway there; otherwise, the area around Lake Esmir couldn’t hold that much water.

Although it’s uncertain if the Anmur People would still reside here, Hill hoped it wouldn’t be because of him that they had to leave their homes.

’Snow Cloud Peak’ placed a hand on his forehead, watching the receding Otherworldly Whale, and said with some sentiment, ”Ah... Hill doesn’t seem to be in a good mood!”

Having slain the avatar with strong divine power, yet not having a trace of a smile.”

”If he were in a good mood, he’d probably hit you with a tornado.” ’Perfect Bald’ first teased him, then said seriously for once, ”To us, it’s all a story, but to him, it’s all painful accidents.

Nobody’s foolish, right?

Nobody wants to discover that the life of their loved ones was merely an act in a Truman Show.

Alice was so cute... Forget it, why bring up the past?

She seems quite happy now.”

”That depends on what happiness means.” ’Susu’ gently said, ”I still think Alice in the valley was the happiest.”

Like ’Snow Cloud Peak’ thought, though many deities and powerful beings eyed the data and experimental animals on the Cloud House with greed, as long as Hill was present, the journey was smooth and uneventful.

Purwell soon brought the Cloud House to land at Agleya Port.

The Otherworldly Whale nimbly flipped itself out of the harness, and Hill floated out... Fran wouldn’t give up exploring these experimental materials.

If it weren’t for Hill requiring him to wait for seven days... To this day, no evil force has survived within the radiation range of the Semi-Divine Artifact Painting for seven days... He would have taken the experimental table into that black fortress long ago.

Though it would certainly cause some loss, Hill had always been wary of the methods of Devils.

Even if his maternal grandfather had always been steadfast, why get entangled with deceitful words?

When Hill stepped onto the port, he was greeted by Lynn, and behind Lynn stood a group of mages from University Town... including Elf Mages.

”Hill.” Lynn nervously approached, grabbing his arm and looking him over, ”You... phew... I don’t know whether to say you’re so powerful it’s beyond my imagination, or... you scared me to death!

That was Gewoosh!”

For Lynn, deeply influenced by the Elves, what is Talos?

Even Demigods can drive him away!

When Hill seeks trouble with Talos, Lynn would only applaud.

But if it were Gewoosh... The Anser Divine System and Mulholland Pantheon, the gods who died at the hands of Gewoosh were not less than ten!

The Elf Deity System had often been harmed severely by his insidious methods... During Rose’s rebellion, he couldn’t have done it without his help.

The Elves harbored not only hatred but also some fear toward the Chief Orc God... Every appearance of Gewoosh brought them crises.

Hill showed Lynn a reassuring smile: ”Don’t worry, during the Magicplague, he could only use Talos’s Divine Power.

Besides, unless he dares to appear in Toril himself, an avatar with only part of the divine power still doesn’t scare me.”

But should he venture out, Coron, who usually appears to be all romance and beauty, wouldn’t spare his eternal foe... Previously, Coron showed a bit more grace, after all, he wasn’t the one missing an eye.

But ever since the Rose incident, Coron has been quite keen on gouging Gewoosh’s other eye out.

But since then, the Chief Orc God had shifted his focus to the war in Hell with the Goblin Chief God, rarely showing up in the Prime Material Plane.

Especially not on Toril.

No one expected that instead of not showing up, he had Talos doing all the work.

Tch~

No wonder Marla had the ability to imprison the God of Mysterious Lock until now.

Though ultimately AO prevented the Elven Deity System from rescuing Mystrian, claiming his resurrection must await the right moment... Toril couldn’t accommodate Mysterious Lock’s existence now.

But it was Marla who acted!

Otherwise, Coron wouldn’t have personally sought to shoot down that big gorilla.

Hey~ Who still says Orcs are brainless should weigh if their head has two ounces of wisdom!

Lynn sighed softly: ”The Elf Deity System has gone to assault Talos’s Divine Kingdom located in the Heart of Fury.”

”Hmm?” Hill blinked, ”How do you know?”

”The Singer went to witness it, and let me know to be careful before leaving, most of the deities went, Selene and Lansendel were the quickest two to leave, and Shaer is definitely not around.” Lynn smiled wryly, ”But he said, with you, the Godslayer around, not many would think the Three Gods wouldn’t be paying attention here, and attack Agleya.”

Hill nonchalantly said, ”During the Magicplague, it doesn’t matter who comes.”

Since AO would rather watch Talos be devoured and even see Gewoosh bask in glory under Talos’s name for thousands of years, he naturally wouldn’t break his blockade on Toril just to find trouble with me.

”Did they take William’s commission?” Hill looked at the mages rushing to the Cloud House without a backward glance, and turned to ask, ”Don’t they know there are Devil’s methods in there?”

”Just taking a look through the cage, they won’t leave the Cloud House.” Lynn softly said, ”We’ve also told them about the painting’s properties, if they don’t leave when it’s time, they are responsible for any issues.

Yes, William commissioned them to ascertain what magic was used on these animals... He also offered a very high price to reward the methods to remove these magics.

Especially the ones deeply rooted in the soul and bloodline.”

Hill turned to glance twice: ”Seeing so many people, my grandfather would probably go inside too, could you assign the Undead Tribe a task for me, to remind him to leave the Cloud House for a while every other day.

As for the data, please have the Undead Tribe copy a set for me, don’t forget to give a fair price.”

”Do you really want to see it?” Lynn asked worriedly, ”It seems very cruel at a glance... Can you handle it?”

The natural aura around Hill had always been strong, natural mages like him could hardly tolerate things against nature.

”It’s fine.” Hill smiled at him, ”I’m not that fragile.”

After returning to the Floating Castle, Hill first went to the rooftop garden... Though Lynn said they had all left, Hill still maintained his courtesy to the guests.

In the garden, on the black gauzy lounge chair, shadows shifted.

On the silver crescent moon, a trace of blue-white moonlight shimmered.

While on the lawn, golden and rose-colored light formed a disc.

It seems these few, though gone to see the commotion there, did not intend to give up closely observing Edna’s adventure journey.

When Hill returned to his old spot, a document had already been placed on the table.

”What is this?”

”Found in the Sorcerer Tower of Esmir-Talan... a failed orc experiment report.

Initially, the Undead Tribe didn’t react to its connection with Teraxil, but since it was made with Elf skin, they opened it to see.”
